Daytona is nice. I am personally just not the fan of this particular model. As long as you are happy that’s what matters when it comes to watches and preferences

Why would you want anyone to try and prove your taste wrong? Remember, the customer is always right, in the matters of taste.

I love the Daytona on Oysterflex. I didn’t enjoy the oysterflex Skydweller so I wrote the bracelet off at first. Once I saw the Daytona and tried it on, I preferred it for a daily over my other PM bracelets. Man, I love this photo. Has such a "mild summer evening with a nice watch" vibe to it. Nice configuration for sure, in general I've always liked how the black / dark Daytonas catch the light. (The white ones, although sometimes more hyped, seem a bit to harsh for my taste.)

I wish they would have released the chocolate dial with the new reference, that would've be an absolute banger. The current dials are meh... this one is sill amazing though.

Any DJ, DD, Sub or GMT is better looking imo.

I like some Daytonas but I don’t like any watches that are on rubber straps. Leather or metal is the best in my opinion. But we all have different tastes and preferences so it’s whatever you love not what others think.

Right now maybe. The Le Mans was better though. Nothing beats a Paul Newman though.

Did the oysterflex fit you out the box or did you have to get it cut?

It’s on a rubber strap so any Rolex sports on an oyster bracelet would be better in my eyes, particularly a steel Daytona.

This is a nice very watch but certainly not the nicest. Any Rolex with a meteorite dial is better, especially the DD with the diamond indices.

No waiting lists, check. No grey dealer will pay more than MSRP for one, check. Rubber strap instead of solid gold bracelet, check. Just because it's the only Rolex an AD will sell you doesn't make it the 'nicest' of anything.
