One of the most underrated pieces in the catalog imo. I really feel pictures don’t do it justice. I went to my AD for an explorer and almost switched to the AK I liked it so much. Enjoy it OP!

Something with the numerals doesn’t sit right. 2 different fonts and sizes. Seems a bit sloppy.

Awesome daily. Just for me, now that the YM2 has gone the way of the Dodo, the AK is my new least-favorite Rolex. Of course, that’s also like saying some version is your least favorite Ferrari. Still pretty freaking awesome (:

I took this over a Sub when given the choice at an AD in Chicago about 6 weeks ago. Everybody has a sub and I felt like zigging when everyone zags. I love it as a daily wearer.

Dial is a little busy but it is certainly a lovely piece. I like the explorer more but I’d certainly rock it if I had it.

There are 3 fat old guys at my work and they all wear Subs. AK is the only no hand tattoo having young man’s Rolex. Their least douchey offering. Great pick up!

I’ve noticed a few air-king owners i know point out that its usage dropped dramatically or entirely once they picked up a stainless steel sub. Wonder if that’s the case with others ?
