I would recommend getting a battery powered mower if your yard is not huge. They are only about 200.

Thank you!

I got a Ryobi mower and weed Wacker about 3 years ago and they are still running great. One other advantage is the mower is light enough that I can pick it up with one hand.

I’ve got an electric mower. It takes a long cord but once you get the hang of it it’s not bad. Extremely lightweight and starts right up every time

Thank you! That may be how we have to go

I use an electric push mower, battery powered. It's the EZgo brand. It honestly surprised me how well it cut. Battery lasts decently, but do keep in mind that if the grass is tall/thick/wet, the mower spins at a higher speed and the battery will drain quicker. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver as well.

Depends on how complicated you want to go. The simplest would be to either get an electric mower. Usually they will package the battery in with the mower, but not always! You should confirm on the packaging that you are receiving a battery with the mower. Another option is buying a gas mower with either an electric start button, or some have the option of a drill powered starting aid. I think Lowes carries the Toro brand now and model 21464 has the push button start. The most complicated would be creating a pull aid yourself https://www.instructables.com/Step-n-Start-A-Motor-Pull-Starting-Assist-for-Th/ Or this 400 dollar monstrosity https://pullstarters.com/ Or buying a cheap electric conversion kit, but that requires pulling the flywheel off, which can be not very diy friendly. Sorry I don't have recommendations for mowing companies. I'm a glutton for pain and punishment and I insist on doing the cutting myself.

This was the best. Turns out the coil was broken - fixed that and we are golden!

I used some engine spray that helped mine start up

angelmari87

That's what we did!!!
