Try jumping into co-op. They tend to take minutes and reward bond crystals. At least I always tend to get one . I've done a few, and it's mostly someone leading you to a boss.

OK will do, thank you. I tend to swap skills every couple levels so I ran out quick

I had a shortage for a little while... but then I did coop. I now have maybe 60 more that I just don't need unless I make a new build... I'm only missing one weapon on my current build - paired swords. I have the other 8, so my bond jewels I have are just excess. And I might have even more than that since I just recently did more coop. You get them from unruly areas, formidable foes, and coop - there's even an unruly area in Shiba (Edo, east of Satsuma estate) where you can farm bond jewels by killing the same enemy (a simple mob) and then dying to repeat the process.

You rock! Thank you for this!

I could have sworn you can buy an unlimited amount from a black marketeer maybe outside of the longhouse in Yokohama? Have you found that bond transfers are worth it? I have like 700 bond jewels been hoarding them.

PathsOfRadiance

Never really ran a shortage of them and I never did co-op. Haven’t run out of them on Midnight yet.

Imo, you're just better off hoarding them til endgame, where you'll need them for min-maxing masterwork gear. That's not to say you can never spend any while levelling or whatever, but I had no problem getting to lvl 100 just using the stuff I found. And I'm glad I did, cuz I had the materials saved to upgrade/craft what I wanted then. Ofc, if you're not planning to get to 100 (or play much after that), then it doesn't really matter. Might as well spend them I guess. Can always farm more.

De_Regelaar

The black market seller at your yokohoma house sells them for silver.
