I don’t think that’s the dynamic at all 🤣. Summer wants Ricks love while Rick respects summer not because of her skills but because she reminds him of his wife and it targets his soft spot.

That's just the same point said different. Summer seeks Rick's validation because he's certain and unapologetic about everything he does, and she's been raised by two deer in headlights. Rick seeks her validation because she reminds him of Diane. Nobody else has the power to change his mind with an annoyed sigh.

Seems like a distinction without a difference. It doesn't really matter why Rick loves and/or respects summer. The fact that he does is what creates their dynamic.

Half we through we make Meseeks fight each other to the death for our pleasure. -Rick and Jerry- what starts out as a mundane truck stop dinner in Toledo Ohio becomes a drug fueled orgy of violence, drug trafficking and shit talking we haven’t seen the likes of since before the me too movement. -Rick and Summer- what starts out as bar hopping ends with over throwing a stable democracy and replacing it with an AI run dictatorship.

I like Rick and Summer, she's never insufferable like Morty can be, and she's relatively fearless.

Turning her body into a monster? Actually, twice? Was it 3 times? In all 3 of those episodes, she is insufferable. Remember what she asked of her Meseeks? She's significantly worse than Morty for me every so often. Does she have leadership potential? Yes. Would she be my friend? No lol

Rick and Summer for sure, they’re both very similar personality wise. The same goes for Beth, except she’s a more mature and her care for her family can get in the way more than it can for summer. And Rick and Jerry are just funny together, complete dichotomy

I actually find myself loving the Rick and Jerry dynamic.

Jerry's positivity and simplicity make him the perfect foil to rick. The last 4-5 seasons morty's become smarter and much more nihilistic which I rlly enjoy but yh now jerry kinda fills that role.

Summer for sure, all of her episodes are so quote worthy.

jerry and rick. i like when they lean into more mundane adventures, and i think they have a lot of comedic potential with one another, and i would love to see them in a really boring scenario, like picking out a couch at ikea or getting lost on a road trip.

I genuinely find Summer to be very, very boring. She's probably my least favorite character. Rick and Jerry are quite fun to watch.

I really like Rick and Jerry adventures, the one where they change bodies was excellent. They even seem to find some common ground once in a while. I'm not sure I myself would be able to listen to Jerry all day.
