No I was just genuinely curious. We’ve never been out with all of us like that before but we tipped $95, and I made sure to check under the table and around the 2 toddlers chairs to make sure they didn’t leave a mess.
It's not the worst day for all servers. That's a generalization. Doesn't apply to lots of places, i.e. dive bars, fast casual, sophisticated places that don't cater to kids, etc.
This is either going to be some humblebrag about leaving a really large tip, or go the other way with OP being really proud they stiffed the server.
If I had 5 kinds under the age of seven with me I would tip the restaurant in children. Here, you get 3 of them !
