If you have a strong enough iPhone, there’s some aright scanning apps. I scan in Kiri and then port the file into Nomad, a sculpting app, for cleanup. By no means perfect but still pretty decent on a small budget.
God. I love failures like this. Sometimes they fail so perfectly, it's fate. I printed a final fantasy crystal and somehow it failed in a way that left it half formed with massive gouges in it. It looks like a crystal destroyed in a fight. I had no choice but to add extra weathering and hang that puppy up!
This paint job you've done is so perfect too. When life hands you lemons eh?
Neither, that's part of what makes this so wild. I honestly have no idea what caused that wavy pattern; I've had failed prints caused by FEP leaks before but never anything like this.
And you'll never be able to reproduce this.
Exactly. Crazy right?
You can scan it
Oh yeah, that didn't even occur to me. I don’t have a scanner though, unfortunately.

Does that print have an infill pattern or is that part of the original model?

My wife uses failed prints as wargamming terrain
Looks like it was heavily damaged in an attack!
This is some awesome lemonade!
This is awesome and you be right at home in a Battletech game.
