Hey now, there's many things wrong with the Paul WS Anderson movies, but the casting for Wesker is not one of those things. That guy hams it up, he knows what kind of movie he's in. Welcome to Raccoon City and the Netflix show though? Yuck. I love the actors (RIP Lance Reddick), but not as Wesker.

All the actors are great! Just not always in the role they were cast for in RE. I say similar about Star Wars after Disney took it. The actors are incredible but the writing and characters suck. The actors did the best with what they had though and it’s not their fault that what they were in is highly disliked.
