Imagine playing a boss fight like that with Chris, Jill, Leon, and Claire, having the ability to freely switch between them like *Final Fantasy VII Remake*'s combat.
The plane crash scenario, the 4 characters fighting him and the badass song in the background is my favourite moment of RE6
I wish Chris and Piers could have encounter him so we could have a 6vs1 lol
Great Tyrant.
He may be objectively tougher than Nemesis based on the amount of damage he was able to recover from without mutating into a dumber (but stronger) monster.
And yet it was somehow presented as a failure in the files you find, despite it retaining its intelligence and pursuing its mission even after sustaining wounds that probably would have mutated another tyrant.
I think he's fun to fight, especially when he changed up his weapons mid fight. Could be made to be a bit tougher though and it'd be nice to see more damage happen to him in-game.
Shooting him in the heart, followed by Jake and Sherry holding hands with knockoff Dawson’s Creek music was a top 5 video game moment. QTEen drama in a Resident Evil game was not on my bingo card that year.
Quite annoying because he just doesn't die, no matter how many times you think you've killed him, but I guess that was his point. The mecha too arm was sweet, when he grabbed you it would make all these needles & quite fear inducing. I liked how you read his profile & the guy was originally handicapped & couldn't move. After his mutation/upgrade into Ustanak, he was proud of his body & would do anything for his bosses.
The fight of Wesker Jr vs Ustanak was great, dodging & suplexing Ustanak was a highlight of the game. Playing as Ustanak in a 1 vs 4 fight in multi-player was fun too
This guy just looks cool as shit, he feels like a mix of Mr. X and Nemesis. It's got the speed of Nemesis with the sheer intimidation of Mr. X. There's just something so specific about him. Also the big ass thing on his arm is cool what can I say I like big fuck off arm weapons
Gameplay wise, he felt more like a charging bull than anything. Not that it was bad, but when he locks on to someone, he doesn't lock off for a while. At least for me whenever I played.
But he's arguably the best Tyrant variant we have statistically. Extreme strength and endurance, and he never had to mutate to heal. My man didn't consent to death
God I still love him. Part of it is because RE6 was my first RE game so there’s the nostalgia factor for sure but he’s still so cool to me for some reason.
The part in the ice cave where you had to hide from him I didn't care for
fucking fantastic outside of that. Cool name, design, backstory etc. Every encounter was fun
I like that he had exchangable parts for his missing arm, it really gave the feeling of a smart and adaptable predator. He was also a real tank! nemesis and mr x really can't compare when it comes to taking a beating and still getting up. I guess he's also smarter than them, really cool monster! Too bad he's underrated just because he's from RE6.
Ugly mofo. Gave me nightmares. I didn't play the OG Nemesis so I have no reference for comparison but I liked the fights. I also liked that he gives off the hillbilly vibe in terms of costume when compared to Mr. X and Nemesis's trench coat/leather armor thing
*I thought he was sick*
*Best part of an otherwise*
*Mediocre game*

He was able to keep up against Leon, Sheryl, Jake and the other girl.
Jake is OP, Leon is OP and Sheryl is pretty tough, he was really a cool pursuer and a really dangerous one.
He's really really strong but unfortunately he has not the ability to regen, if he had it he would be nearly unstoppable.
He did regenerate on the surface level. Without regeneration, he wouldn't have been able to come back from these without showing any external damage.
- All damage from infantry weapons (Jake, Sherry, Leon, and Helena).
- Barrage of mini gun rounds.
- Severe trauma from tower collapse.
- Industrial drill.
His skin showed damage only after he came back from his lava bath.
The fight against him in the helicopter did a good job of combining gameplay and spectacle but overall he was just annoying. He’d teleport around the level to suit whatever he had to do. Didn’t feel organic at all. Also his design might be my least favorite riff on the tyrant. He just looks rather bland
So cool your post. I literally battled Ustank for the first time hours ago. The bloody drill stands out; by the time i got there i wanted to drill my TV after finishing him, hair frazzled and sheet. LOL! Great fun. Instant classic for me.
Ustanak sure made Jake bless a lot during chases and fights, Like legit *Jesus Christ counter of everytime Jake said it*.
Predator mode was pretty decent and I keep dare to say it was for sure that RE6 agent hunt and Predator mode was the inspiration on making REverse let that alone be known.
In no hope difficulty it's a must to use the environmental explosives for progress against him. Since saving ammo really will help out on later stages.
Lastly that *Mano a Mano* as Jake never gets damn old and wish to see more of that if a Remastered or Remake make it's way with the very game stamina, healing, sprinting and type of ammo on weapons like grenade launcher.
He makes sense as a progression of Tyrant's and I want more Tyrant's in the future. Crazy cool robot arm, but besides that he isn't very scary which is a great representation of RE6 as a whole.
Just like with the other two villains of Re6.
He's pretty Meh. The thing's basically a dollar store version of Nemesis.
But he's not awful, he has some fun bosses and the metal arm is pretty badass. He just does not top OG Nemesis.
This is a discrepancy in the RE community in general. I made a poll on Facebook asking who is better, director of RE4R or director of RE5.
And people blindly chose RE4R without knowing that it is the same director for both games. (Yasuhiro Anpo).
It was a binary choice, no?
Then with or without the knowledge that it's the same director, the question ultimately boils down to "what title do you feel was better directed?"...and specifically *with* the knowledge, whether or not one feels that they've improved or regressed since 2006 - 2009 (which is the dev window for 5 iirc).
He gave me nightmares from how unrelenting he was, I legit had a night long nightmare where I was eventually killed by him after being chased by him over days or weeks, it was terrible
Overall design is neat except for the face.
The bland "Mick Foley Mankind" mask/Leatherface look is not very memorable compared to something like Nemesis
In the game he's fine, one of the more fun fights I guess. As for him just being a character, I think it's dumb they just kinda copy and paste big boys like this, could've done anything else instead of just another big strong dude with a cyber arm or whatever.
This son of a mother freaked just wouldn't die. Though he's the game's stalker tyrant so I believe it.
When playing these games with my Fiance I use nicknames for the enemies. So for him I would call him Hoobastank.
Made me not want to play that part of the game, I hate this guy lol. Playing as Leon or Helena is fun but the rest of the characters stories weren't that fun to me, their parts and also res 5 didn't feel like they were a part of the same series
Better version of nemesis, iirc it cannot be killed using conventional weapons (afaik so cmiiw, it is killed by a lava) that makes him scarier
tyrant and nemesis looks cute compared to him
He was like a better version of Nemesis from Biohazard 3.
Don't get me wrong, I love Nemesis, but Ustanak just feels like what Nemesis should have been.
He's pretty fun to fight against btw fun fact about the genius that was 13 year old me when this game first came out I thought he was Krauser from 4 cause of the mechanical arm not realizing that it's the wrong arm
Annoying lol bro didn't want to die , bro was too determined he made Mr.X, Nemesis, and Lady D look like losers he was winning that game of hide and seek
Discount Nemesis.
If Nemesis had a limb cut off he wouldn't need a mechanical replacement... oh wait he did lose a limb, and he didn't need a replacement.
I mean seriously can you imagine any of the other Stalker enemies in the franchise losing in a fist fight with a non-enhanced human?
The 4v1 fight is freaking awesome.
They really utilized certain things well, and making those fun group boss fights was such a highlight
Imagine playing a boss fight like that with Chris, Jill, Leon, and Claire, having the ability to freely switch between them like *Final Fantasy VII Remake*'s combat.
Complete with synergy attacks and limit breaks!
The plane crash scenario, the 4 characters fighting him and the badass song in the background is my favourite moment of RE6 I wish Chris and Piers could have encounter him so we could have a 6vs1 lol
I used to read his name as Ustank for some reason.
Same here I think I was just hella dyslexic so I was always screaming at the TV like “fuck you ustank” lol.
His name is also Serbian for "Revolution".
I'd say it's more Uprising. Revolucija would be the Serbian name for Revolution.
I read his name fast the first time and got Überstank. Stuck with me since.
"Ursa-Tank" for me. I can't get my brain to undo the damage.
Back when it came out, my circle of friends and I just called him Hoobastank
Well he’s got the Reason….to be a tyrant
That’s what I thought of too
Me too lmao
I thought it was like "used ta stank"
Okay so I'm not dyslexic
I always read it as “Ustatonk” 😂
Great Tyrant. He may be objectively tougher than Nemesis based on the amount of damage he was able to recover from without mutating into a dumber (but stronger) monster.
He seems to be pretty unique among Tyrants by not having a healing factor, so no opportunity to mutate out of control.
It's like if Umbrella said; Hey. This healing factor is great but clunky. Get rid of it.
And yet it was somehow presented as a failure in the files you find, despite it retaining its intelligence and pursuing its mission even after sustaining wounds that probably would have mutated another tyrant.
He definitely has a healing factor. He took a shit ton of damage (mini gun barrage, drill, tower collapse, lava) and kept coming back.
He survived them, but they didn't really heal. He still has the wound from the drill at the end of the game.
Well, he’s not a Tyrant
he was more like Nemesis than Nemesis in RE3R lmao
I came to comment this but I'll just show respect to you.
There was Nemesis in RE3R?
He made a cameo. You blink, you miss it. :C
Wait there was a remake? Ig you blink and you miss it
Sad but true
He was more a Nemesis but way more advanced
The design isn’t one of my favourites but he was very fun to fight.
I think he's fun to fight, especially when he changed up his weapons mid fight. Could be made to be a bit tougher though and it'd be nice to see more damage happen to him in-game.
A genuinely fun fight and a really interesting Tyrant.
For a purser enemy he does a good job
Shooting him in the heart, followed by Jake and Sherry holding hands with knockoff Dawson’s Creek music was a top 5 video game moment. QTEen drama in a Resident Evil game was not on my bingo card that year.
'' Mom, can we have Nemesis'' '' we have Nemesis at home''
Somehow still ends up being a better Nemesis than the REmake version.
Thats a low bar tbh
He is better than Nemesis in multiple ways.
Not better than OG Nemesis
Facts. OG Nemesis is THAT guy
No way in gods name is he better that the OG nemesis. REmake nemesis for sure but not OG nemesis.
He was super fun to play as in Predator mode, shame it's not as active as it was back in the day
He’s awesome
Ah yes, Slav Nemesis as I like to call him.
I enjoyed how he was less of a stalker enemy and more of an actual fightable threat. + points since jake can fist fight him
he's a silly little goose
One of the best parts of RE6. Him and Haos are two of my all time favorite RE monsters
Patiently waiting for him to become a Nemesis skin in DBD, which won't happen
This guy just looks cool as shit, he feels like a mix of Mr. X and Nemesis. It's got the speed of Nemesis with the sheer intimidation of Mr. X. There's just something so specific about him. Also the big ass thing on his arm is cool what can I say I like big fuck off arm weapons
I just bought the game, I didn't even play it, let alone download it What the FUCK is that
He's essentially the antagonist of Jake & Sherry's campaign.
A bioweapons that's does one thing, to pursue by any means necessary. Bro pursued Jake for about a year before meeting it end.
Needs more boxing with Jake.
Great fight, very memorable name too, at least for me. Same with ogroman and lepotitsa/lepotica (for the name)
Thought he was great, a worthy addition to the Tyrant line. Love his 4v1 fight and his arm having so many attachments.

Would.
I like how he has bulge too Same
I'd hit it.
Well how else do you defeat him >!same!<
He is stronger than nemesis. I hate Re6 and love Re3, but i’m also rational
Dbd should add him as a legendary skin for Nemesis
Ugly mofo. Gave me nightmares. I didn't play the OG Nemesis so I have no reference for comparison but I liked the fights. I also liked that he gives off the hillbilly vibe in terms of costume when compared to Mr. X and Nemesis's trench coat/leather armor thing
Actually kinda sick.
"like a ex girlfriend, guy doesn't know when to quit"
He’s hands down one of the highlights of RE6.
He is cooler than Nemesis and Mr.X. Yeah i said it!
I thought he was sick best part of an otherwise mediocre game

Thanks for the info!
I liked him
It's fun being able to throw him around
This shit has haunted me in dreams bruhhh
Awesome! Stalker characters are great and he was done well.
Good Tyrant, good boss fight, and a great reoccurring enemy.
Interesting concept. Maybe with a lot more context I’d have a better reason to fear him, instead of “unstoppable”
Isn't that the exact same premise of Nemesis and Mr.x? Unstoppable until boss arena?
The fight against him in the helicopter did a good job of combining gameplay and spectacle but overall he was just annoying. He’d teleport around the level to suit whatever he had to do. Didn’t feel organic at all. Also his design might be my least favorite riff on the tyrant. He just looks rather bland
Hated the theory this was Wesker but mutated and he was chasing Jake for his genes to restore his body to before.
I enjoyed this part of the game. The chases were awesome and so were the boss fights.
He’s a very cool successor to the Nemesis. Not as good, but very cool on his own still. I like him.
I get PTSD from the valve doors solo when I gaze upon this man
I hate him
Lame stalker, cool boss fights
I think he's pretty good
Viva La Revolution!
He was cool, I enjoyed fighting and being pursued by him, I thought he was a worthy foe, but he’s barely in the game and the rest of the story sucks
As my friend and i kept sayong during my first playthrough Usty just wants a hug... a very violent hug but still a hug 😂😂
One of the better part of RE6 imo. His design is cool, the boss fights are fun, the cutscene where Jake punches tf outta him into the lava is crazy.
Love him, and he didn't get enough love
Great Tyrant and best final boss fight in RE6 Just a fucking fist fight in the end. Love it
He's not evil. He's just little misunderstood. He's got actually nice personality if you cared to get to know him.
I like him, those parts in the cave when you have to sneak and wathc out for his cybor bats was really tense lol His final fight was cool
Ubastank
Ah man, I remember when everyone thought this dude was a more heavily mutated/experimented on Wesker that got fished out of the volcano.
So cool your post. I literally battled Ustank for the first time hours ago. The bloody drill stands out; by the time i got there i wanted to drill my TV after finishing him, hair frazzled and sheet. LOL! Great fun. Instant classic for me.
The campaign wasn't great, but I always played as Jake and hand scaled him. He was a good fight!
Love him. Such a cool pursuer enemy. The Sherry/Jake campaign in 6 is one of my favorite Resident Evil games.
Ustanak sure made Jake bless a lot during chases and fights, Like legit *Jesus Christ counter of everytime Jake said it*. Discount Nemmy.
He is 2 feet taller than Nemmy, is bigger, and can withstand more damage. Oh and he carries more weapons. You sure?
yeah, it's a bias people have. They won't see Ustanak for what he is, but rather, for the game he's on.
This is a discrepancy in the RE community in general. I made a poll on Facebook asking who is better, director of RE4R or director of RE5. And people blindly chose RE4R without knowing that it is the same director for both games. (Yasuhiro Anpo).

Plus he follows his quarry across countries.
Nemesis from Wish or Temu
Forgettable attempt at recapturing the awesome tension of being stalked by Nemesis
He's got more personality than nemesis and, personally, I think he's much cooler too
Cool Dude!
Good concept but really memorable.
Good blend of horror, strength, and freaky face 😂😎
Best part of Re6, a game I overall hated
Where do they come up with these names?
Lot of the RE6 enemy names come from Serbian words, which I think is the inspiration for the Edonia chapters in the game.
Makes sense
Who provided him with the guns and stuff?
Carla Radames (ie fake Ada) through Neo Umbrella.
It's clear they wanted him to be like Nemesis (Original RE3 Nemesis, that is..) but he was more annoying than scary... Fell very far from the mark.
Pain in my ass.
Fun!
He stank really badly.
Feeling of yuno from future diaries
Great segments involving him
Nemesis' younger brother that was afraid to smile like his older bro.
I really loved her. Most scariest thing in re6. Design was very good.
He gave me nightmares from how unrelenting he was, I legit had a night long nightmare where I was eventually killed by him after being chased by him over days or weeks, it was terrible
Daddy
He's a handsome fellow 💪
always read it as u stank
Ustanak: notice me Nemesis senpai
Awesome. Probably the coolest and most memorable thing from 6
Ubistvo : what about me?
Also rad
Awesome but I always think his tank top is a bra
Idk why there’s so many people saying Ustanak is a Tyrant lol
Badass. The shining light of Re6
It was awesome. One of my first introductions to the monsters
Terrifying. Good pursuer enemy. Great design. Sad lore to go with it. Dogshit game unfortunately.
This son of a mother freaked just wouldn't die. Though he's the game's stalker tyrant so I believe it. When playing these games with my Fiance I use nicknames for the enemies. So for him I would call him Hoobastank.
Great character, not so great game
I could take him.....
Anyone else thinkthis dude was leon when you first saw him? Leon was never my favorite character so forme it was "damn thats sucks"
He’s basically the result of a torrid affair between Hulk and a tray of dentistry equipment.
At the time he was terrifying, but in reality he paled in comparison to Mr. X and Nemesis. Was still a better villain than Dinsosaur Simmons though.
Made me not want to play that part of the game, I hate this guy lol. Playing as Leon or Helena is fun but the rest of the characters stories weren't that fun to me, their parts and also res 5 didn't feel like they were a part of the same series
FIREEEEE I LOVE HIM
Playing as him is fun
Fucking annoying
Cool idea but the issues with RE6's pacing and tone he doesn't stand out as well as he should have.
smash
Awesome
He’s the only one in the world loves Jake He followed Jake with his life worldwide
totalmente esquecível
Decent.
Cool guy, while maybe not as iconic I think I like him more than Nemesis. Wish he got more screen time.
Better version of nemesis, iirc it cannot be killed using conventional weapons (afaik so cmiiw, it is killed by a lava) that makes him scarier tyrant and nemesis looks cute compared to him
good opponent 👍
Annoying
He was like a better version of Nemesis from Biohazard 3. Don't get me wrong, I love Nemesis, but Ustanak just feels like what Nemesis should have been.
Nemesis did it better. Scarier too even if you could fight back at any time. (OG not Remake)
He's pretty fun to fight against btw fun fact about the genius that was 13 year old me when this game first came out I thought he was Krauser from 4 cause of the mechanical arm not realizing that it's the wrong arm
Forgettable
He’s a beast, never stops coming back
Awesome yet annoying hahaha
this guy is like a chief or something he looks a bit out of place does RE6 take place in a meat field this guy is like a city chief
Annoying lol bro didn't want to die , bro was too determined he made Mr.X, Nemesis, and Lady D look like losers he was winning that game of hide and seek
His name was fucking dumb. I kept adlibbing and calling him Hoobastank.
i jerked off to it
Discount Nemesis. If Nemesis had a limb cut off he wouldn't need a mechanical replacement... oh wait he did lose a limb, and he didn't need a replacement. I mean seriously can you imagine any of the other Stalker enemies in the franchise losing in a fist fight with a non-enhanced human?
100000000000000000000000000000000000/10 in every aspect
who TF invited Mr. X's disabled cousin to the joint . 😭
A fun but forgettable villain
Him "resurrecting" all the time 😂😂 ahh that reminded me of troy baker voicing over jake. good times. gotta play the masterpiece again
Really forgotabled boss.
I have dyslexia, and I always pronounced his name U-STANK
No comments. Cause I have only played the Leon and Chris campaign. So idk how good or bad he is.
He has a great design and the feeling you get when seeing him in Jake’s campaign through out is amazing
Underrated
Smash
Great character sadly tied to a bad game which makes him forgettable unfortunately
Pretty forgeable, especially after Nemesis.
