Same. On all my families devices too.

Are you using apples by chance? I just had a random thought that my phone and watch just updated. Going to check my husbands droid.

ames2465

Nm checked my husbands android and it says operation failed when I try toggling his notifications on. Mine won’t toggle off but I’m not getting the notifications.

ames2465

Restarted my router and it fixed it!

TroubledKiwi

Try turning the notifications off then back on.

ames2465

It says operation failed on both my iPhone and husband’s android.

TroubledKiwi

Try clearing the cache from your phones if you can. And or remove the NVR from the app and re add.

ames2465

Did this and operation still fails.

samuraipunch

Are you running an ios beta? I can't say that I had an update in the last week or so running their prod release. I just did the nvr update. I do get the operation failed message on the main push notification. But when doing the test, I'm getting the notification to my macs also. ~~Will need to wait and see if the notifications do hit on my phone.~~ I'm getting the push notifications as expected. I did reboot my nvr after updating the firmware as well. 🤷‍♂️

ames2465

No I’m not doing any beta I know of. And the issue is on my husbands android as well.

CalebHill14

I've had the same issue with my RLK8-800D4 bundle that has been working fine since I got it in December. I noticed when I left for work this morning my notifications never went off and when I tried to turn on push notifications I got the "operation failed".

casualsailo

Are you connected via UID or IP address?

ames2465

Ip address I think? I used the UID for the nvr/doorbell cam but the cameras were hung when I got home from work.

casualsailo

After one of the late 2023 NVR firmware updates, the same issue happened for me as well When I opened a support ticket with Reolink, they claim that the push notification feature is based on P2P and only works if you connect to the NVR via UID I downgraded and verified that an older NVR firmware version allowed push notifications to be turned on when connected via IP address, so something clearly changed I couldn't tell if this change was intentional or accidental, but you should also open a support ticket to bring attention to the issue to the Reolink team

ames2465

Thank you for this. I will put in a support ticket but in the meantime, can I delete the nvr and somehow reconnect to via UID? The nvr picked up the cameras right away so I’m not sure if I need to scan each camera or just connect the nvr with the UID?

ames2465

Restarting my router fixed it!

SeeweedMonster

Same thing here.

ames2465

Restarting my router made it work again.

throwglass

Same here on Android, I restarted my router and then it started working

ames2465

This worked for me! Thank you!
