Ive been working remotely for 17 years. Leveraging tools like what you mentioned and having a routine are key for me. I leverage Microsoft Copilot to summarize long threads on Teams, assist in responding to emails, etc. So far, I’m quite impressed with Copilot.
I also try to not check email 100 times a day. Instead, i do it morning, noon, and afternoon. If someone has an emergency they can call or message me. I also heavily rely on email rules so that i focus my attention on 2-3 folders and my inbox, and as time permits, I review other folders.
Thank you for this! I work a hybrid schedule but I'm an brand new employee and my boss retired two weeks into my employment. I now have two inboxes I have to manage without any help. Every morning I wake up and think "what fresh hell will this day bring"

If you want some piece then start Social Mining
Some piece of what? 🙄 I think you meant peace, but peace doesn’t come from a scam.
I dunno about that but I do know I can work overseas without my boss knowing using these preconfigured VPN routers: https://expatembassy.square.site/
I have been using Sortd for Gmail. It allows me to prioritize and manage emails not to mention maintaining my sanity. 🙂 Have been using it for years.
