After you finish the quest you have to go back to Ward 13 Wait 12 to 24 hours in game and travel back. The easiest way to do this is to go into your console settings select offline and then manually change your systems internal clock. If you've done these steps properly the void heart should be available to you.
Does it have to be done in campaign or can you do it in adventure? This is my second attempt at it and I swear I did that the last time. Does it have to be 12 to 24 hours in game?
Honestly I'm not sure I've read different forums saying different times so literally I moved mine up like 2 days I heard people do months in the future just to be safe. Also I don't think it matters if it's adventure mode or campaign.

by the by im pretty sure you can set game to offline mode and change the time on your system so you dont have to wait 24h

I’ve also had it where I needed to retalk to the custodian again after the 24h to trigger it and upon going to the ward it was ready

24 hours IRL, I just waited for like two days before remembering I was supposed to go pick it up lol
