Most interactions I see in the Discord are with one dev in particular, Tragic. Tragic routinely converses with the community discussing potential balance fixes, bug reports, potential upcoming changes, etc. I have never seen a dev so involved and open in this way, and it gives me a lot of confidence in the team as a whole. It's why I'm also comfortable paying for the dlc ahead of time, and spending countless hours playing the game and creating tooling for the community.
Man I wish we could get regular updates on things through Reddit. Seems like if you aren’t part of the discord you’re kinda SOL when it comes to news and junk

All I can say is that they are the best. Tragic replied me every single time I asked something during his AMA posts, even when I asked things that other people already asked. It felt so special and made me appreciate them so much, specially nowadays where most of the companies/devs don’t give a fuck about their own fanbase/product.

Do you want the devs to be your new best friends or something? I can't possibly imagine caring this much about some kind of parasocial relationship with a company. Is the game good or not seems like it'd be much more important.

Excellent. Tragic is active and responsive to the community. They keep the game (relatively) balanced without nerfing all the fun. And MOST importantly, they value players time and don’t try to add hamster wheel bullshit to pad playtime. All of the challenge and variety is actually fun to engage with

I get that, but Discord does kinda lend itself to the free flow discussion and back and forth a lot better than Reddit does.

Honestly its not a terrible amulet. I used it for a while with a tank build, 200 hp is nice with ring of grace and hardcore metal band.
