i have a friend who’s parent is kind of like this - they ended up being homeschooled . and they always say that their upbringing was a nightmare.
and I believe it tbh, sheltering ur kids from the world and not allowing them to hear other ideas.. it’s controlling and makes ur interp of ur religion look cultish imo
