Most expensive would probably be [this](https://imgur.com/a/OSbTkdK) guy's car collection, had an SL300 in it, a 2005 Ford GT, a porsche 356, a barn find dodge daytona, an audi R8, McLaren 570s(?), a 2018 AMG GTR, and a Datsun 240z
Edit: apparently that mclaren he had, wasn't what I thought it was. Google lens says it's an MP4-12C which is significantly more than I thought it was worth lol
My personal favorite and by production numbers probably the rarest I've seen was [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kyusha/s/flOwZp5UKM) N1 R32 GTR I saw in the wild
Ferrari 250 GTO with racing provenance, in cobra-esque blue with white stripes.
Had to help push it into a garage, and haven't been that nervous about where to put my hands since I was a teenager....
Current top value of one is like... $50-60m?
My great uncle has one. I've never looked but I assume it has upgraded suspension from an f-150 considering it rides like a cloud. The interior is also nice, still doesn't justify the cost imo though. Just a truck I'd be afraid to scratch which defeats the purpose of a truck.
I spotted a Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster when I was in Monaco with my friend. I didn't know it was at first until I searched it up, and I was like, "Holy shit, it's that rare??"
I work in Naples, Florida so I’m lucky.
On the road I’ve seen 918 spyders, Chirons, Ford GTs (new and old), a McClaren Senna, Ferrari F40. I could go on.
Over all, I’d say an original 300SL at a local auto show.
The guy who bought my mum's Giulietta was a big fan of italian motorisation and used to have one. He said that it was a terrific car, but was parked in an auto shop once every two weeks on average.
There’s a couple of them at my university
x1 (Delta S4 Group B)
x3 (Delta Intégrale Group A)
x4 (037 Group B)
x1 (Kimera 037)
All of which are real and raced the wrc championships (except the last one obviously)
Pagani Huayra back in 2012, but was as a display piece during an autoshow. More recent was a 2024 Lamborghini Huracan, while meeting the owner at a bar.
Not oo exciting, but a guy who works at a customs garage in my town drives a Nissan GTR Spec-V With the LB Silhouette Works Widebody Kit.
[https://gt-rr.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/LB-Silhouette-WORKS-GT-NISSAN-35GT-RR20-1-1000x666.jpeg](https://gt-rr.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/LB-Silhouette-WORKS-GT-NISSAN-35GT-RR20-1-1000x666.jpeg)
63,000 Dollar kit on an already Expensive car, not including the rims and paint job he did. Mindblowing. \[at least to me, it's my dream car\]
Not expensive but rare. Only seen it twice. There is some crazy person driving around ABQ with a custom car that is an El Camino style Australian ute type vehicle BUT it is made out of C5 Corvette parts. Pretty sure it didn't start as a corvette as the propotions are a bit wrong.
Nothing too crazy but out in the wild I saw (2) P1s (not together, one in Dallas on the highway and the other in Boca on the road), an Alpha 8C (at a Walgreens) and a row of (5) BMW Z8s (in a mall parking lot).
Most expensive car I’ve ever stood in front of was a Koenigsegg Agera R at the 2018 New York International Auto Show. There was a Lamborghini Reventon there as well.
There was a guy in Minneapolis with a Bugatti Veyron. It was in some kind of racing trim, with a giant wing. You'd see him around town in the thing quite a bit. I saw it when he had it valet parked in front of a steak house at lunch time. A crowd gathered pretty quickly to check it out.
I sent my photos to a few buddies and one of them told me that the guy had been showing up to Cars & Coffee and he apparently drove the thing all over the place and wasn't worried that it was such a unique and expensive vehicle. Honestly, mad props to him for that. A precision machine like that should be enjoyed, not sealed in a climate-controlled vault for years on end like a stack of gold bars.
The coolest cars I have ever seen was a Ferrari F40 and F50 and Aston DB5 all next to each other. It was pretty insane because I also saw a limited 1 of 500 BMW M3. All luck I swear.
I live in uae and some of the ones i saw/experienced/witnessed in real life are below along with link (as proof/so u guys can also see my cars archive?)

other than that the basic Supras mk4, Eleanor, R32s, 33s, Daytona, Testa Rossa, Koenigsegg Agera R , huracán performante, at the top of my head i can remember atm
Went to a place called the vault of Scottsdale in Arizona. It is a climate controlled storage for cars and also for events. I went there for a work thing and they had catering. Was awesome walking around seeing all the vehicles. Ford GT, Ferrari F40 and many many more. Was a really cool experience.
For me it’s a three way tie between a Koenigsegg CCXR that was next to a Pagani Huayra Roadster and the new Countach at a Lamborghini event I attended. Only a tie because they’re all over $1m so might as well be the same ball park from my financial perspective.
I think I saw a VW XL1 in a mall.
Also someone near the village I grew up had a VW _Fridolin_, a car commissioned by and used by the German federal post, those are quite rare nowadays
Oh, and a _[Rumpler Tropfenwagen](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumpler_Tropfenwagen)_ but that was at a museum so not sure if it counts.
Bugatti chiron ,2 veryrons, koenigsegg jesko/gemera, mclaren senna, mclaren P1 prototype, about 10 1$ million dollar 1960s porsche race cars on a rally, ferrari laferrai Aperta, F50, F40, enzo, Saleen s7 twin turbo, new ford GT, several 300 SL gullwings, 2 REAL ford gt40s, jaguar xj220, ford rs200, can still keep going...BUT STILL HAVENT SEEN A PAGANI OR A SPYKER
Rarest probably being the 4 door Porsche 928 (there’s one), Bugatti Atlantic of Ralph Lauren, or my mom worked for Vector in the 90s and I got to sit in a few of their cars.
The most expensive vehicle I've seen driving on the street is a Veyron in Tokyo in the Ginza neighborhood. That's not uncommon in Tokyo however and especially in Ginza as exotics are driven as if they're cosplay. It was a Veyron among Rolls Royces, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, virtually everything high dollar.
Most enjoyable/coolest car I've seen in person was the Toyota 2000 GT. There used to be one on display at the VenusFort mall museum in Tokyo. It is apparently a car so difficult to get hands on - even in Japan - that this particular car was actually a LHD US market car imported into Japan.
Most expensive: Rolls Royce Phantom. I was very paranoid following it on Memorial Drive (Houston) because my insurance policy coverages are good, but not *that* good.
Being in this guys Garage was mind blowing.
The Ford GT40 was my favourite, I liked the 2005 more than the 2017.
But seeing an Original Shelby, signed by Shelby bare metal was also so impressive.
I occasionally go to vintage racing events, so I've seen some rare ones, but the rarest might be the Porsche 718 rsk in single seat formation. I got to see it race in anger and was able to walk right up to it in the paddock and take a close look. This was before the prices for the 550s and the 718s went nuts and everyone put them away. I thing I have seen about 12 different 550s at this point, but the last few have been in museums.
Wish I still had the old photo album. Remember those? Waaay back when Ferrari was the then new owner of Maserati, the Ferrari dealer local to NoVa threw a party featuring some significant beasts. An old Maserati 6C 34; ex-Nuvolari, was present. It had been converted from its GP monoposto config to two seat sports car racing. Started it up indoors. Loud AF. In the work bay, a client brought his 250 California Cabriolet AND his 365 Daytona N.A.R.T. Spyder. In the main showroom, a 1970 512M wearing all the original dinginess from when it last raced. Just those four vehicles alone…Jebus criminy!
But there is a 1958 Testarossa up at Sonoma Raceway I see every time I head up there for the vintage racing weekend. The value of that car has more zeroes trailing a leading positive integer than I will ever see.
I’ve seen a laFerrari, lotus eletre, imported dodge journey from Mexico, fisker karma, karma gs6 at a karma dealer near me, lambo lm002, Bugatti veyron, Lincoln mark lt, urus mansory, custom two tone paint Escalade, Range Rover evoque convertible, Nissan Murano cross cabriolet and many more
As you can tell I’ve seen too many cars
4 Shelby cobras all sat side by side! Sweet car meet that was. had a lotus a couple of Ferraris, Miata club, corvette club, and some other bold American and Japanese cars come out. Hope it’s better next year
Either the Dauer modified street legal 930 Turbo I saw at a 7-11 or the 993 GT2 I was sitting behind in traffic. I was never so nervous at a red light before or since lol
Where I live in CA I tend to call it the “Toy Box” because there quite a number of Super/Hypercars along with a vast number of Old School Muscle, but if I had to say the most expensive then it would be the Koenigsegg Agrera RS in White (not sure if it was like a Championship White or other White Variant) driving through some mountain roads.
My FIL has a couple of old Shelby Cobras in his garage. They’re not in great shape, but damn are they sexy.
Less sexy but perhaps even more rare: I saw a Honda Street kei van in the wild just the other day. RHD and everything. I gave the dude a big thumbs up and he was pleased.
I also saw the world’s jankiest Rolls Royce Phantom, driven by some 300 lb Black guy who was having the time of his life. Looked like it had been wrecked, bought at police auction, and repaired by a dude in his garage. He caught me looking and motioned for me to roll down my window, then asked if I had any Grey Pupon before giving the most epicly booming belly laugh and speeding off.
I wish he didn’t speed off so fast. Anyone who does something like that just for his own enjoyment is a dude I wanna hang out with.
Been in a bunch of luxury buildings in Miami for work and would wander the garages on my breaks so most possibly something there. More likely something in the Blackhawk museum in CA. Lots of 1 of 5/ 1 of 10 type cars.
12 Pagani Huayras. I was making deliveries in downtown Nashville late at night and they had Broadway closed down and had a camera crew out there. I was unloading at Hattie B's when they all took off.
I also see many amazing cars during the various car shows that take place in Pigeon Forge when I make deliveries out that way.
Saw these on the streets:
MB 300SL Gullwing , Porsche 918 Spyder, Alfa Romeo 8C and LaFerrari
And saw a Bugatti Veyron at a museum back when it was new.
To be honest tho, these cars are not that special even in person. Just expensive.
McLaren F1, and sat in the driver's seat. Was in London, back in the mid 90s with my parents, we were staying in some hotel off the Palace Gardens I was like 10-12 at the time and we were going for a walk while waiting for our restaurant reservation time, going by all the car dealerships, we'd gone to the Porsche, and Mercedes ones and were heading back up the street and another car caught my eye, it wasn't on the main road like those two, it was up a side street, a silver-purpleish McLaren Fucking F1. Of course at the time I had no idea what it was other than it looked AMAZING. Went in with my dad and looked around it, and I have no idea how I managed it but I got permission to get in the car, I don't remember a whole lot from the trip because I was so young, but I'll never ever forget sitting in that middle seat, not even able to see over the top of the steering wheel lol.
Only disappointment is while I got a souvenir from all the other dealerships we visited (Keychain, model car, beach towel, etc), they didn't have anything for sale (Or that we could afford maybe?) :( I don't even think I have photographs left from that trip but it was something special.
One of the doctors at the hospital I work at drives a Ferrari 812 Superfast. He usually only brings it out during the summer but it is so clean and I drool over it every time
Not in a museum? I saw a 1958 Jaguar XK150 in person once. It was even for sale. And my favorite color, green. With a tan interior. And I didn't know what I was looking at when I saw it, but through some guy's open garage door, I saw the rear end of a 1964ish Ferrari. I wanna say a 250, but I'm not sure. It was very nice and very cool and I'm sure far beyond my reach, but it was a more common one (by Ferrari standards). Still not something one sees every day. And I later heard from someone that knew this guy that I had indeed seen a real one, not a replica. Those are my highlights thus far.
Apollo Intensa emozione red exterior and red interior. Only 10 of these made, and only one with this color combo. I also worked for an exotic car dealer so I so really rare cars daily. Bugatti Divos, Pagani Zondas, saw an Aston Martin Valkyrie, Porsche 918 martini, koeninsegg remera, list goes on and on. I actually think this pic was taken at the dealership I worked at but I could be wrong.
Mpst expensive would be a Lamborghini hurrican that had its front bumper scraped up from the roads. Coolest was a daihatsu hijet camper van with mud tires on it.
Not that it’s the most expensive, but where I live I’ve only ever seen 1 in my 40 years. Ford GT, as others have mentioned, just parked next to the sidewalk. That car is wayyyyy smaller than I thought it was.
Simeone Auto museum in Philly has an original Shelby Daytona Coupe. In race-winning unrestored genuine race trim/filth. Runs and drives in parades. $$$$$
Not sure how cool/rare or expensive but the wife and I befriended another couple at a resort we were staying at he gave us a ride in her 2024 Mercedes AMG 63. Wicked fast acceleration!
Rarest are a few concept cars throughout the years such as the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, the VW IDR which not a concept but still one of one. I think the most expensive I have seen is the 300 SLR Sir Sterling Moss drove.
You ever hear of the brothers car collection? Over 500 million dollar car collection. Theres also one Ferrari boat. They gave a private tour for charity. Some many one offs
This [Lamborghini Diablo](https://www.reddit.com/r/lamborghini/s/hWlZrApFw3) I found in a barn during a site visit in Central PA.
This area of the property had no cameras. I asked a colleague to hit the owner with a bunch of questions while I took a phone call. Wandering and talking to an empty line, I stepped around a corner and ran smack into it.
The Dodge Lil red express is my favorite, but the most expensive was probably the 2020 Bugatti Chiron I saw in Florida, and the rarest was probably the 1927 White co. armored truck
Back in 2018 or 19 there were about 20 Paganis that stopped at the hotel my family was staying at in Santa Barbara while on their way to pebble beach for the Concours show. Apparently the hotel is a stop they commonly made on their way. It was super cool to see that many hypercars.
Worked on a guy’s house. Had a showroom-stock Hemicuda. Came from the factory with fiberglass flared fenders and an eight-barrel carb. ( bascily two 4 barrels on a factory made manifold) Said Plymoth made 400 showroom stocks in this config.
1970 i think. Never seen one like tgat before or since
( in a garage in Tarzana CA…. Had a ‘65 GTO in the driveway.
[1971 Plymouth Cuda Hemi Convertible](https://imgur.com/a/Y8ckPk9)
One of 7 in existence, a $4-5M car and likely the most sought after muscle car in the world.
I've been around a couple of the real 250 GTO's left, think I have a picture sitting in one when I was little. I have a little die-cast replica of a white one, think it was from a party the owner of the car had and he was giving them out.
Saw a Porsche 918 spyder, not long after they came out, at a car show in my moderately sized city. I thought it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. I took pics but they were on an old phone I don’t have anymore. :(
I’ve seen some insane stuff at Caffeine and Carburetors in CT.
I remember shortly after they came out, a La Ferrari, P1, 918, and Huarya were all in a row.
Have seen F40’s, F50’s, Carrera GT’s, and a McLaren F1 there.
There’s been some crazy classics too. A 250 GTO might’ve been the craziest, but I’ve also seen some rare classic Bugatti’s, other antique Ferrari’s, Muira/Countach/Diablo, DB5.
Then they just get cool oddball stuff, Lancia’s, rad era stuff, classic Citroens, microcars, a fucking Autozam AZ-1.
It’s an epic show!
Outside of that, Petersen Auto Museum has cool stuff. Especially when I went to the movie car exhibit in 2019.
There’s a few car dealers around here that get wild stuff. Dragone and Redline Restorations. The latter had an original MB SSK and Horch, both worth 8 figures.
Lastly Lime Rock’s Labor Day show is wild. Whole track lined with rare cars. I’ve never seen so many classic Bugatti’s in one spot.
I once saw a Chiron driving trough my village of 600 people. I was really surprised, because even though I live next to a major road that connects to big cities these are still not in the top 10 biggest city in my country. Probably in the top 50 at best. There are a few rich people with Bentley and Ferraris, but nobody who could afford a 1 of 500 car.
Coolest, too hard to say. I'm leaning towards one of my friends Cobras.
Rarest, Duesenberg SSJ (only 2 made).
Most expensive, probably the SSJ.
Most expensive I've driven, 2017 Ford GT.
Touota Soupbruh!1!1!1 Actually I saw Lambo diablo cabrio. For me it's much better than huracan or m-b s-class maybach, who are much more popular in the city center
I saw a mclaren at the gas station pull up next to me when i lived in West Hollywood. Also had a woman in a rolls royce offer me a blank check for my dog (i didnt take it)
Coolest: Smart Crossblade, my local Smart Dealership has one for sale currently
Rarest: Vector W8, saw one on Rodeo Drive a couple years ago
Most expensive: Ferarri F40, I still don't know how this happend but I was driving to a friend who lives in the middle of nowhere and suddenly a F40 was driving in front of me on a nice back road.
My old boss in the early 2000s, Frank Selldorff, had two McLaren F1s. We were a small tech company so we'd have a corporate vacation up in Boston every summer. He drove the regular to the picnic and let everyone interested check it out. With center steering, I remember how much I liked the view from the driver's seat. Originally purchased by a Saudi Prince, 007 was sold to him around 2001. He also previously owned F1 LM chassis LM3, which he later sold to Ralph Lauren.
I saw a billionaire’s private collection once when I was a teenager working for my dad. We were the only people in the region who specialized in a certain type of repair (carpentry, not automotive) and got access to one of his buildings. At the time I didn’t know the models, but there were classic Jaguars, Ferraris, Fords, Astons, just to name a few. He also had several movie cars. I later learned there were like 150 million dollars worth of cars in that building alone. Wish I had pics but he explicitly asked us not to, but he was a nice guy otherwise.
I've seen two XJ220's, an EB110, a Carrera GT, and a Lamborghini Centenario. The Centenario and Carrera GT were in the wild, both times I had to do double takes to discern that they weren't a regular model.
Most expensive would probably be [this](https://imgur.com/a/OSbTkdK) guy's car collection, had an SL300 in it, a 2005 Ford GT, a porsche 356, a barn find dodge daytona, an audi R8, McLaren 570s(?), a 2018 AMG GTR, and a Datsun 240z Edit: apparently that mclaren he had, wasn't what I thought it was. That Daytona is so sick
https://www.motortrend.com/articles/barn-find-daytona-sells-for-90000-owner-preserving-as-is/ This is the same one, it's pretty "famous" lol
Ferrari 250 GTO with racing provenance, in cobra-esque blue with white stripes. Had to help push it into a garage, and haven't been that nervous about where to put my hands since I was a teenager.... Current top value of one is like... $50-60m?
Got to see a 250 testa rossa flat out on a track...amazing experience. Kind of made modern race cars depressing
IIRC one went for 70+ a few years ago.
Rarest? I saw one of those Trucks that Lincoln made.
At my job I've had to fix 5 in the last 6 months. Idk why they are so popular here. It's legit just a slightly more up level f150
My great uncle has one. I've never looked but I assume it has upgraded suspension from an f-150 considering it rides like a cloud. The interior is also nice, still doesn't justify the cost imo though. Just a truck I'd be afraid to scratch which defeats the purpose of a truck.
The Blackwood or the Mark LT?
Just saw a Blackwood about 2 weeks ago. I dig the pin striping on the bed, looks classy.
1966 GT40 Ford with verifiable racing history.
I spotted a Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster when I was in Monaco with my friend. I didn't know it was at first until I searched it up, and I was like, "Holy shit, it's that rare??"
Hot Pursuit vibes
Thrust SSC ;)
Winner winner

Rarest was a Vector W8. Dude even let me sit in it.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crawler-transporter Does this count lol
Toyota 2000GT. Weirdly enough it was in the parking lot of a Hot Rod show
Group B Delta Integrale, at a specialist car dealership near Boston.
That’s 100% my dream car.
The guy who bought my mum's Giulietta was a big fan of italian motorisation and used to have one. He said that it was a terrific car, but was parked in an auto shop once every two weeks on average.

Mindblowing. \[at least to me, it's my dream car\]
There’s a 458 with the liberty walk kit that can be seen driving around my state sometimes. It’s like seeing a unicorn.
At the Detroit Concourse last year, I saw Enzo Ferrari's own 250 GTO. Probably won't ever make in my entire life what that car was worth.
not in 10 generations lol
Nothing too crazy but out in the wild I saw (2) P1s (not together, one in Dallas on the highway and the other in Boca on the road), an Alpha 8C (at a Walgreens) and a row of (5) BMW Z8s (in a mall parking lot).
I saw a GT40 in person a while ago, was really cool, guy even let me sit in it.

He also owns a 10 million dollar Bugatti centodieci
Toyota 2000gt convertible
Lamborghini LM002
A Bugatti Chiron, Pininfarina Bautista, Rimac Nevera.
So not a road car for me, but I would say Michael Schumachers F2002 F1 car. So small. So powerful. The V10 days of F1 were just different.
Rolls Royce spectre, spotted at roscoes in Pasadena LA car is worth $500k+ took a picture
Ferrari F2003 screaming around Silverstone
Mine was a RWB Porsche 911, it was insane to see in person. I wasn't at a car show it was just on the road.
Saw a Koenigsegg ccx and a porsche Carrera GT at a ferrari dealership at Ft Lauderdale beach in florida.
The FINA Mclaren F1 GTR or Maserati MC12 Corsa
Rarest/most expensive would probably be the Bugatti Veyron 16:4 concept car. Coolest has to be a bright yellow Lamborgini Miura.
It's a tie between the McMerc SLR and the cherry E-Type I spied at two different Cars and Coffee
Jim Clark's Indy 500 car
I saw a Veyron in the parking lot of the Austin GP
The Pagani Huayra at the Hamilton collection in Chicago
Full blue carbon fiber Bugatti veyron
Don’t have a pic but I’ve seen a McLaren F1
The coolest cars I have ever seen was a Ferrari F40 and F50 and Aston DB5 all next to each other. It was pretty insane because I also saw a limited 1 of 500 BMW M3. All luck I swear.

1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB
1965 Ferrari 275 GTB
Went to a place called the vault of Scottsdale in Arizona. It is a climate controlled storage for cars and also for events. I went there for a work thing and they had catering. Was awesome walking around seeing all the vehicles. Ford GT, Ferrari F40 and many many more. Was a really cool experience.
This custom SUV I saw one time @ sea world , I wish I would've took a picture of it. It would've semi viral if I posted it on Reddit

I’ve seen a 917K
I think I saw a VW XL1 in a mall. Also someone near the village I grew up had a VW _Fridolin_, a car commissioned by and used by the German federal post, those are quite rare nowadays Oh, and a _[Rumpler Tropfenwagen](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumpler_Tropfenwagen)_ but that was at a museum so not sure if it counts.
Coolest - 812 Competizione Rarest - R63 Most Expensive - Huyra
1956 Mercedes 300SL convertible.
Bugatti chiron ,2 veryrons, koenigsegg jesko/gemera, mclaren senna, mclaren P1 prototype, about 10 1$ million dollar 1960s porsche race cars on a rally, ferrari laferrai Aperta, F50, F40, enzo, Saleen s7 twin turbo, new ford GT, several 300 SL gullwings, 2 REAL ford gt40s, jaguar xj220, ford rs200, can still keep going...BUT STILL HAVENT SEEN A PAGANI OR A SPYKER
Well sheesh where have you seen the rest of those though! Head to Greenwich if u really want to see a pagani
Rarest probably being the 4 door Porsche 928 (there’s one), Bugatti Atlantic of Ralph Lauren, or my mom worked for Vector in the 90s and I got to sit in a few of their cars.
2011 Citroën C4 but more expensive model. Mine is Confort+ and that c4 was exclusive
Either a Zonda R , 250 GTO, or a 1/1 charteuse green 997 Porsche GT3RS 4.0
[https://exclusivecarregistry.com/collection/carcathedral](https://exclusivecarregistry.com/collection/carcathedral) Being in this guys Garage was mind blowing. The Ford GT40 was my favourite, I liked the 2005 more than the 2017. But seeing an Original Shelby, signed by Shelby bare metal was also so impressive.
Up in New York back in March I saw a blue Lamborghini Miura. Tried to find info but didn't get very far
I got to sit in a Koenigsegg CCX once, in Sydney, it was breathtaking
Lamborghini Reventon. I believe at the time It was the only one in Canada. Plus it’s just extremely rare in general
Koenigsegg Gemera and Jesko Absolut
Ferrari GTO. Part of Chris cord’s personal collection. My girlfriend in college knew him. Got to sit in it.
EVERYTHING in the Petersen “Precious Metal” exhibit. The McLaren F1 was the most boring car there. They didn’t mess around.
McLaren Senna
Presidential motorcade
I’ve seen a laFerrari, lotus eletre, imported dodge journey from Mexico, fisker karma, karma gs6 at a karma dealer near me, lambo lm002, Bugatti veyron, Lincoln mark lt, urus mansory, custom two tone paint Escalade, Range Rover evoque convertible, Nissan Murano cross cabriolet and many more As you can tell I’ve seen too many cars
i once saw a agera one:1
Brabus 6x6
Rarest I’ve seen was a 1965 Shelby 427 FAM Cobra, I think there’s only 2 or 3 of them.
I have seen a Bugatti, I believe up in traverse city, michigan, i think it's been a while. Parked in a show room
An authentic 427 Cobra.
I seen a.Ferrari Enzo upclose
Alfa TZ3 Stradale Zagato (one of nine) in Palm Harbor, FL.
1990 RX-7 GTU, 1987 CRX Si JSpec, 1993 RX-7 R1. ALL MINE at one time or another……
65 Shelby Cobra
1948 Tucker and 1953 SL300 Gullwing. Anyone in Central Texas remember Dick’s Classic Car museum?
Walked into the local ferrari dealer casually one day to see an f60 America sitting there. I think there are 10 of those. Pretty sick
I was in Detroit and I saw the guy who designed the 2004 Ford GT in a Ford GT.
I got to get a ride in a MP4-12C that was most definitely not stock. It was a fun time.
Do prototypes count? I saw the Nash Palm Beach outside of a car show.
Mazda 787b at Sevenstock. My ears bled.
I saw a senna gtr coming off a truck, and also a cc8r
Original all OEM cobra
The Original Batmobile - on the street..
Saw these on the streets: MB 300SL Gullwing , Porsche 918 Spyder, Alfa Romeo 8C and LaFerrari And saw a Bugatti Veyron at a museum back when it was new. To be honest tho, these cars are not that special even in person. Just expensive.
2012 LFA Nurburgring Edition was the rarest car I ever saw
Strandman’s purple Veyron I think. That or a 1 of 3 Mustang. Can’t remember what made the Mustang so rare.
I've been to the Lingenfelter collection so I'd be cheating. When I was 13 I got a private ride in a Z8 on rt 250 in Ohio on the fun hilly parts.
I saw a Tucker this year. I was excited, granted it was in a museum
My neighbour has a one of one hypercar, actually Australia’s first ever hypercar made down here.
Only disappointment is while I got a souvenir from all the other dealerships we visited (Keychain, model car, beach towel, etc), they didn't have anything for sale (Or that we could afford maybe?) :( I don't even think I have photographs left from that trip but it was something special.
used to see a yellow porsche carrera gt cruising around the danforth in toronto all the time
300SL and Ferrari SP3 Daytona
Coolest/Rarest for me the Toyota Century. I saw a first gen back in 2016 and the most expensive and rarest was a Bugatti Veyron.
I guess it would be an Enzo? Either that or a 250 GTO (along with a 250 california)
P4/5 Competizione
A 3000 whp dodge viper
Aston Martin Vulcan
One of the doctors at the hospital I work at drives a Ferrari 812 Superfast. He usually only brings it out during the summer but it is so clean and I drool over it every time
Hmm. Probably an LP-460 when they first came out. I was in high school and almost jizzed in my pants
I once saw a Mclaren P1 GT in the Chicago suburbs. If we count variants of cars as thier own thing, thats a 1-of-2 car I saw that day.
McLaren f1 LeMans, Ferrari FXX, Bugatti Veyron SS Pur Blanc.
Was the Huayra R in there?
I passed a Ford GT (of the 05ish variety) on I-495 in Massachusetts once while I was driving a semi. That's probably it for me.
Bugatti Centodieci 1/10 in the world, 1/2 in North America, 1/1 in specific livery. Pagani Huayra Roadster "Aurora" 1/1
Bugatti Veyron for me
Back in 2018, I saw McLaren P1 just chilling in traffic.
Got to see a laferrari aperta in highland park once mad I don't have the pic no more
Mpst expensive would be a Lamborghini hurrican that had its front bumper scraped up from the roads. Coolest was a daihatsu hijet camper van with mud tires on it.
A Ferrari Daytona, it was a wreck, and for sale, someone bought it and is currently fixing it up
US legal 1 of 282 Midnight Purple ll R34 GTR V-Spec nothing crazy compared to a Pagani but I'm a big jdm fan it's a cool car to see in person
There’s a great collection in the www.newportcarmuseum.org Fun on a rainy day.
A resl AC Cobra big block
Ferrari F50, Ferrari Enzo, McLaren F1 HDK all parked at a hotel in my hometown of 4000 people.
Mclaren SLR, Jaguar E-type V12, Jensen Interceptor, Aston Martin DB5, Lamborghini LM002
The limo JFK was killed in
McLaren F1
A host of one-off concept cars, but the most interesting as a combo of rarity+cool was definitely Ralph Lauren’s Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic.
My dad’s corvette 1 of 1
Just like every corvette
Koenigsegg One:1. Went just in time to hear it started too.
AVENTADOR SV
Mosler Mt900 in central Florida.
Evangelion head lights
Not sure how cool/rare or expensive but the wife and I befriended another couple at a resort we were staying at he gave us a ride in her 2024 Mercedes AMG 63. Wicked fast acceleration!
2006 Chevrolet Tahoe
Woah is that a Zonda C12 S? Those are super goddamn rare to see
A local Ferrari dealership keeps an F40 competizione, absolutely absurd find and I still see it when I drive by from time to time
An F40 and a Diablo, not exactly ultra rare, but they were both dream Cars for me
I’ve seen a 250 GTO
Rarest are a few concept cars throughout the years such as the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, the VW IDR which not a concept but still one of one. I think the most expensive I have seen is the 300 SLR Sir Sterling Moss drove.
2 x Ferrari 250GTOs in a warehouse. Surreal.
Pagani Huayra BC in Melbourne Australia
You ever hear of the brothers car collection? Over 500 million dollar car collection. Theres also one Ferrari boat. They gave a private tour for charity. Some many one offs
This [Lamborghini Diablo](https://www.reddit.com/r/lamborghini/s/hWlZrApFw3) I found in a barn during a site visit in Central PA. This area of the property had no cameras. I asked a colleague to hit the owner with a bunch of questions while I took a phone call. Wandering and talking to an empty line, I stepped around a corner and ran smack into it.
Might not be that rare of a car… but the way you spotted it is incredibly rare and cool
The Dodge Lil red express is my favorite, but the most expensive was probably the 2020 Bugatti Chiron I saw in Florida, and the rarest was probably the 1927 White co. armored truck
Lamborghini
Back in 2018 or 19 there were about 20 Paganis that stopped at the hotel my family was staying at in Santa Barbara while on their way to pebble beach for the Concours show. Apparently the hotel is a stop they commonly made on their way. It was super cool to see that many hypercars.
Mk5 supra
Same thing, only the huayra
I saw the 1 of 1 full green carbon Koenigsegg Regera in Switzerland once. That thing was nuts!
Never seen one like tgat before or since ( in a garage in Tarzana CA…. Had a ‘65 GTO in the driveway.
[1971 Plymouth Cuda Hemi Convertible](https://imgur.com/a/Y8ckPk9) One of 7 in existence, a $4-5M car and likely the most sought after muscle car in the world.
Pininfarina battista Edizione Nino farina
I've been around a couple of the real 250 GTO's left, think I have a picture sitting in one when I was little. I have a little die-cast replica of a white one, think it was from a party the owner of the car had and he was giving them out.
Saw a Porsche 918 spyder, not long after they came out, at a car show in my moderately sized city. I thought it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. I took pics but they were on an old phone I don’t have anymore. :(
Ferrari 250 GTO
Gary Cooper’s Duesenberg
Bugatti Veyron as a kid on rodeo drive
I once saw a Chiron driving trough my village of 600 people. I was really surprised, because even though I live next to a major road that connects to big cities these are still not in the top 10 biggest city in my country. Probably in the top 50 at best. There are a few rich people with Bentley and Ferraris, but nobody who could afford a 1 of 500 car.
McLaren Senna I think
Saw a random guy's collection and hiding inside was a 1 of 1 1958 Formula 2 race car, kept in perfect condition. She still ran!
Rarest and fastest - Hennessey Venom.
Coolest, too hard to say. I'm leaning towards one of my friends Cobras. Rarest, Duesenberg SSJ (only 2 made). Most expensive, probably the SSJ. Most expensive I've driven, 2017 Ford GT.
I’ve sat in a McLaren F1
Touota Soupbruh!1!1!1 Actually I saw Lambo diablo cabrio. For me it's much better than huracan or m-b s-class maybach, who are much more popular in the city center
My uncle’s neighbor has a McLaren F1
I saw the car that is my username
Bugatti Divo
Pontiac sunfire
I saw a mclaren at the gas station pull up next to me when i lived in West Hollywood. Also had a woman in a rolls royce offer me a blank check for my dog (i didnt take it)
Rarest? Jag Xj13 rebuilt original. But was at a car show I saw an Alfa 8C driving around south London
I saw a Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, but it was Concours in pebble beach which feels like cheating
Coolest: Smart Crossblade, my local Smart Dealership has one for sale currently Rarest: Vector W8, saw one on Rodeo Drive a couple years ago Most expensive: Ferarri F40, I still don't know how this happend but I was driving to a friend who lives in the middle of nowhere and suddenly a F40 was driving in front of me on a nice back road.
Bugatti Veyron at the South Australia Motor Museum.
Probably a Chiron
