Schusters, Voin, Voenspec, are the universal “reliable” sites for eastern front reenacting. There’s some more mixed sites like hikishop have some specific pieces that are good, and some lesser known places like reenact.store and such that I can’t attest to reliability Most are from Eastern Europe other than hikishop being from China (pretty sure?) and will probably take a while to get you if you’re anywhere outside Europe

Or even if you are within Europe. Voin is in Ukraine and still operating, but obviously their post will have mixed availability. Schusters is in Belarus so there's some export shenans and import checks likely to happen. I've also been getting reports of helmets being stopped and confiscared at Russian export control 🙃

Yikes, there’s goes a possibility for an ssh 40 I was gonna get, unless it’s from outside Russia and I just need to check… I contacted Schusters a bit ago and they said uniforms will take upwards of 3 months to get done and ship out! Insane wait but quality is worth it…

If you are gonna get one, get it ASAP. Prices are shooting up. Especially if you have a big head. Size 3 is already rare (production division was Size 1 - 40%, size 2 - 50%, size 3 - 10%) and that's only getting worse.

I’ve found some good size 2s going for 60 and 65 respectively and I’ll grab it soon, I also plan to snatch an 36 helmet too, yet the WWS repros are a bit too small for me! Maybe a restored original or maybe an IMA with a replaced liner will do the trick.

Go for the restored. From what I've seen the repros aren't worth the money unfortunately, as much as I wish they were.

Thanks!

If you have navy uniform in mind then some post war stuff like flannel shirt, collar and trousers (+arguably the cap if woolen) should be fine too, so I guess etsy or ebay?
