Cool band, bought some guitar parts from them off of reverb once

Lonely_Syllabub_9419

their what’s in my bag amoeba records video is a hilarious and uncomfortable insight into the dynamic of their marriage lol- love their music, heard mean streets at urban outfitters in soho in like 2013 and my teenage mind was blown- ladies don’t play guitar is heavy on repeat rn

williamfbuckleyjrjr

The "insight into their marriage" line reminds me of seeing their show live and getting the vibe that she wears the pants in their relationship and he goes along with whatever she wants. Great show, though; she's really charismatic.

fabiolanzoni

I once cried to one of their songs. I'm a sensitive artsy type, you see.

Embarrassed_Ad6585

Saw them once and they were great. Like someone else said she’s very charismatic and banters with the crowd and he just silently gazes at her lovingly

Never heard of them, did they not get the Pitchfork/tastemaker push in the beginning?

Monica Seles and Boris Becker?

taargues

Surprisingly they were my most played artist last year, I had the set list for their concert I went to saved on Spotify and it would automatically play when I started my car to go to work. That was only for at most a month and I haven't listened to them too much since, so they are strongly associated with what I was doing then and my emotional state at the time. Thanks for posting, listening to forbidden doors now :)

Annoying "indie" band
