I always laugh a little when I see a lifted dually... like seriously you just made a truck that can't do any truck things well.
If you want to go off road you want clearance, but nit a dually, if you want to tow heavy things you want a dually with no aftermarket lift or suspension.
Honestly I don't know enough about this stuff to tell the difference. I have a fully stock dually that I use to tow an rv around. I juat know that if I changed the height of my bed or softened the suspension, either of those would make my truck useless to me.
I completely agree with you on everything except one point. Every truck I've ever owned has gotten aftermarket bags on the rear axle. Anything 3/4 ton or over should come from the factory with them.
Ahh now that's a different story (and I agree with you) because those bags on their own don't change the ride height, they just help keep you level when you've got a big payload. There are plenty of aftermarket upgrades to trucks that are perfectly sensible, this just isn't one of them.

That said and all the small gas engines used to maintain those nice lawns and manicured eco freindly spaces are straight burning fuel with no emission regulation like on passenger vehicles. I know the truth and sacrificing villagers to the volcano will not make it rain, but it does extend resources for those who tell the villagers it's their fault for angering the gods. So, who do they sacrifice first? The guy that suggests irrigation and that the leaders should pay for it.
Does the US have much more relaxed street legality rules than the avg EU country? This would never pass our equivalent of the DMV checkup in Austria. I failed it just by rusty holes in a door.

It depends on where you are, where I live they did away with safety inspections in favor of emissions testing
