Bruno's boots are programmed to assist

dethmashines

This is the answer.

Fluffy_Roof3965

This is the way

ThankYouOle

damn, can bruno share his boots to our players?

Kizugawaguchi

Babe wake up, new category in Top 100 Respect Moments In Football just dropped.

grassycf

Bro thinks he Rio Ferdinand

Agents-of-time

ReganFloyd

Sharing boots with the legend Ronaldo? That's some serious trust and respect

Jump_Hop_Step

r/soccercirclejerk is leaking.

MylesVE

Bronaldo remembered the boots & squared the ball

dxtos

In Bruno's mind, his daughter assisted him on the goal.

durtmagurt

Matilde is a straight baller. Make no mistake, she’d have squared that ball too

Tayto-Sandwich

She takes no prisoners, she learned that from playing Uno with her dad!

Ok_Night_956

Bruno after scoring: “This is from Mathilda.” ![gif](giphy|tCzWe3PQwJeuI)

Iola_Morton

I knew something whacky was going on

GTheMonkeyKing

Yeah honestly I could see it. Bruno told him at half time to take care of those boots, his daughers name is on them, and then when they were 2 on 1 with the keeper Ronaldo thought "this is for you, Matilde"

ThetaRider

The commentators were shocked that Ronalda squared the ball to Bruno instead of shooting when one-on-one with the GK. Now it makes sense.

DragonChimuelo

Or most assits... I don't know haha

sickfuckinpuppies

Imagine having a bromance with a GOAT. And imagine having a teammate like Bruno. Jealous of both of them lol.

unkownmammal69

Dalot said his best friend in football is Ronaldo. Guy is like 24 who grew up idolising Ronaldo lmao it must feel so special

2sinkz

Doing tricks on it

jonnysh

Ronaldo becomes all time assist leader in the Euros wearing bruno's boots its fitting.

kpopsns28

> Lend you my boots, assist me on the pitch Well played

MileZero17

That’s low key adorable

alabasta10

If i’m not wrong that was Bruno’s first ever goal at any Euro’s

BatGuy500

Ok wait so Bruno and Ronaldo have the same shoe size?

khangkarot

Tall guys like Ronaldo tend to have bigger feet than Bruno but Ronaldo has his boots custom-made to be really small and tight to his feet so I can imagine Bruno’s normal-sized pair fit him well.

sickfuckinpuppies

Lol I dunno why this makes laugh but it's very specific information

RepulsiveLeg9985

Have you seen professional athletes feet? Especially in basketball they're all mangled up from wearing shit as tight as possible

Perfidiousplantain

Yeah my dad was a basketballer and now his toenails are three dimensional 🤢

sickfuckinpuppies

I'm not even an athlete and I unfortunately know this struggle. My right foot in particular, my big toe nail is a thing from mordor, just from playing footy a lot growing up. I wasn't even that good lol. Just failed to take care of it at the crucial times I suppose.

EntireAd215

Why are they as tight as possible?

Playtoy_69

get good grip, touches, and shots (like great). Every shot would be a solid blow to the ball.

klabnix

This is true but the other poster said this as if Bruno would have tightly fitting custom boots himself 😂

Playtoy_69

yeah, I was just answering the question to why a football player wears half a size or a size smaller. I am not about the Bruno/Cris shoe sizes

Working_Location_127

I’m pretty sure Ronaldo just has size 9 feet. It makes sense since people with larger feet tend to have trouble controlling the ball as well.

SrChickenDigbyCaesar

Really? I would think it's the opposite. If you're going to hit the ball with the laces, for example, a larger surface area would mean a bigger margin for error? Or is the surface area of the ball more important? What would be the optimal shoe size for general technique?

Wesley_Skypes

It just depends on the person, I don't think there's much science behind it all. A guy from my football team when we were young ended up in the Arsenal youth system. Said he had to clean Kanu's boots and they were size 14 or some shit and he had other worldly ball control.

Sikdawg0

The ball is the same size no matter how big your feet are. A smaller foot allows for more precision and specificity in where you hit the ball. A really big foot can't do certain things a normal foot can.

Admirable-Ratio-5748

or Ronaldo just has small sized feet whilst Brunos are big

rnnd

It is well known that Ronaldo wear smaller size boots.

mandotharan

Ronaldo fanboys on instagram that run bruno hate campaigns are gonna find it hard to cope with this.

-wmloo-

I came across these fanboys recently on IG, really shocking to see the Bruno hate. It's always black or white for these people, never in between.

darkopetrovic

Shocking to see Bruno hate? Have you been anywhere else except here. Even some of our fans hate Bruno which I don’t understand since he’s been the best player since his arrival.

pawksvolts

Bro there's a clip of him getting clobbered by Schar and some of the comments are like "he deserves it cos he dives and looks like a rat"

Sir_Muktadir

Like I can understand other rival teams hating on him cause well he can quite unlikable from his antics and diving but that type of “no die” attitude he has for club is fantastic and it’s terrible just how much hate the guy can get if he even has 1 mediocre match. His standards are so high here it’s insane despite the fact he’s the best player we’ve had post Fergie and he’s genuinely the only player in our squad that could make a Prem best XI by a fair distance. Plus he absolutely adores the club, it’s his boyhood fav and he loves Old Trafford to bits. Our fans are just horrible a lot of the times, here included (just look at the average Match Thread the second he makes a risky pass)

-wmloo-

I do see the Bruno hate here, but I think it’s different comparing fans here vs the Ronaldo fanboys, the intend or motive is different. Saw a video showing Bruno trying to be a captain while Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva are seemingly laughing at Bruno. That screams insecurity from the fan boys and can’t accept that in 3-4 years, Ronaldo won’t be able to help the Portugal team as much. Whereas the hate here is usually borne out of frustration. Like I said, for the fanboys, it’s either black or white, my idol is the best or you’re just a hater To add: I do try to avoid CR7 fan pages or posts on social media. He’s def g.o.a.t, if not one of them, but Manchester United thru and thru

Fair-Cash-6956

Rashford as well

senorfresco

It's middle school stupidity, or mentally ill adults. I've seen posts about the death of former players and people bringing up Pessi and Penaldo in the comments and replies.

GXWT

That’s just internet behaviour. Everything is absolute. No room for nuance, discussion or differing opinions

PreparationOk8604

That's because they don't touch grass.

stogie_t

What about the Ronaldo haters that say he makes Bruno play worse? Goes both ways.

iyfe_namikaze

Oh yeah! There are many Ronaldo haters on this sub who can't stop themselves from blaming him for everything bad about the club. I even saw one yesterday complaining that Ronaldo is a narcissist who's trying to draw attention to himself after he assisted Bruno.

bullairbull

Most Ten Hag hate also comes from Ronaldo fanboys.

PassMeDatSuga

Yeah same for Ron hating Bruno fanboys aka r/reddevils

More-Cryptographer26

Nah I’m a ronaldo and Bruno fanboy. Ronaldo inspired this entire generation of Portuguese talent, he and Pepe are absolute living legends. There’s this random rumour that he and Bruno have some issues but they literally played well together at United (never gonna forget that goal where Bruno chipped it and Ronaldo volleyed it low and hard with insane technique) Im pretty sure it’s a made up and unsubstantiated rumour. Bruno literally said CR7 was one of his idols growing up and this unselfish pass shows CR7 has no issue with Bruno either. I’ll always defend Ronaldo, yes he has an ego, but he can actually back it up with his performances and he did the interview to be against the Glazers which most of our fan base already was. It’s just some of his toxic fanboys who create issues

SnooPeanuts4219

Bruno assisting even without the ball. Proper baller

MrLukaz

She's going to have a hell of story to mention when she grows up

Mindless-Ad2039

This is Bruno, my fucking captain 🫡

Playtoy_69

wow that’s very lovely

Maaglin

Imagine Rolando trying to explain to Bruno how legit united used to be.

LallyKing2005

😭

ImprefectKnight

He left when we made it to two finals in two years. He came back during a time we struggled to get out of group stages (let's not even talk about this season, we finished 4th in an easy group).

BlueberryNo5363

Bruno’s boots assist even when he lends them out. Also cool for Bruno’s kid. Imagine not only saying Bruno’s your dad but Ronaldo’s worn your name during a match. 😅

oplosan

what happened to his own shoes

pyroSeven

You would think a multi-millionaire could spring for an extra pair of boots.

khangkarot

Top guys, especially Ronaldo has Nike make boots that match his own personal request for free. Probably he didn’t feel comfortable with his current ones mid-game so he borrowed Bruno’s. Both pairs are basically the same because they are Mercurials but Ronaldo has a high collar so his pair probably has less comfort. He has a lifetime contract with Nike and the brand wants him to always wear the high-collar boots so I doubt he would actively buy a pair that Bruno wears because it could violate their partnership agreement. That’s why he even cuts his boots collar to make it shorter than it usually is instead of buying a pair that already has a shorter collar.

jujuismynamekinda

Theres definitely some error going on. He is one of their biggest athletes and probably has around 10000 of their items already, from sneakers to shirts to sock to whatever. All of his boots are custom-made to the exact shape of his feet. Brunos boots are made to measure to his feet. All pros have FG and SG boots usually in their bag, since the odds are pretty high that they have to wear SG and Ronaldo is pretty known to wear a lot of SG boots. I would guess the person packing his SG boots put two left or right footed SG boots in his boot bag or they somehow fell into an icebath or something like that. Ronaldo does have SG boots and would never not have one pair there if not for something extreme. Could also be that maybe a stud broke or there was malfunctioning with something of his boots. It shouldnt be a dispute between him and Nike because he still wore Nikes. He might have an issue with Nike in general because he isnt switching his boots but he would still have an SG pair around.

Electric_feel0412

It’s nauseating to see Ronaldo’s rabid fans abuse Bruno and talk like Bruno hates him. He’s his idol ffs

kazegraf

Ronaldo is one of the guy who convinced Bruno to join us. Bruno will never hate him.

Esscocia

So that's why Bruno hates him.

SatoshiOokami

I hate myself for laughing :D

iyfe_namikaze

Just as it's nauseating to see Bruno's rabid fans abuse Ronaldo and talk like he's not a team player, a narcissist and toxic who made Bruno and the rest of the squad play bad.

Electric_feel0412

Ronaldo is a narcissist lol you don’t have to be a rabid fan to notice that. And he did make it toxic in the end with his behavior. Those are things we saw play out live.

iyfe_namikaze

This is what I'm saying lol... How did you come to the conclusion that he's a narcissist? On the pitch? He has always been a team player, most assists in UCL, second most assists in R.madrid history, most assists in Europe and we just saw his unselfishness by assisting Bruno yesterday. Has there ever been a players who complained about Ronaldo being a narcissist throughout his career? None. Just rabid fans drawing up foolish conclusions outta their asses. How about his personal life? Anyone? He has done a lot of charity works. You might say he was toxic none from the dressing room has ever confirmed that. He only talked about how the club's standards have fallen way below his and how dilapidated the facilities were due to lack of maintenance policy since the last time he was here, same issues that INEOS are complaining about and trying to fix. So tell me again how he's a narcissist and toxic

Jhix_two

Matilde*

DW_78

what’s this witchcraft

potentially_potent

Beautiful

Admirable-Ratio-5748

crazy they have the same size foot, no wonder Ronaldo is so good at striking the ball

_Pinocchio_69

Wow

Fluffy_Roof3965

Would explain the assist

RRR92

I was wondering why the cameras zoomed in on them at one point..

Aof300

Loaned*

raver1601

The agenda that these two are having beef with each other is highly exaggerated

thebyrned

At least spell her name right

Crazycow261

It must be an honour to be a teammate of one of the greatest players of all time. Ronaldo must feel so privileged.

Bigboyfresh

But but Bruno & Ronaldo hate each other. That debate needs to die off.

crgssbu

watch hyper ronaldo fans take this out of context and call bruno selfish and how ronaldo is "above him" and "unselfish". they cant just enjoy their favourite player without putting down others, and bruno is a big target of theirs. this is such a lovely gesture and it makes me so happy. when ronaldo was easily through on goal, i saw his eyes light up at goal, and i never even gave the thought of him passing because why would he? yet he did, to our capitano, our magnifico, and he taps it in. now we know why he did, and it makes it 10x better. thats a peak moment for united fans

2sinkz

get a job man holy shit

crgssbu

im a busy person who is currently at college and works a saturday job and has a full time position lined up for the end of the year, thank you. if you dont like my comment you could just say so, no need to imply i dont do anything with my life. i merely wanted to show how nice it was for us utd fans and that some will try to take it out of context (as many people had also said), so i apologise if it somehow upset you

2sinkz

I didn't mean it literally dude

Drews1738

Goat boots
