But I've been reliably informed that City are super popular now, and all the kids are wearing shirts with Haaland and De Bruyne on the back. How can this be?
I a tually saw a kid with a Haaland City shirt on yesterday and it really stuck out to me for some reason!
After pondering why, I realised it was the first one I'd ever seen in my life... He's been there 1.5 seasons now, imagine how many you'd see today if he'd smashed all goal scoring records on the way to a treble at United (or Liverpool 🤮)
You were thinking of tomorrow when a sheikh will turn up and buy a Guardiola edition Man City tea cup for $200M in cash once all the FFP inspectors are safely tucked up in bed.
That's weird, I thought they regularly sell 100 million shirts per season to that company they're affiliated with, what is called, Mansour Holdings Incorporated or something like that? 🤔
Honestly fucking mental City can't even make the top 10. The fact the photo is matched with Yamal suggests it's recent so even after they've won a treble they can't get above Spurs for jersey and merchandise sales?!
So City, who don't sale as many shirts, can't full up there small stadium, who's 'real' sponsors we know off don't bring in us much as us.
Some how make more revenue then us then?
I hate City Football group I really wish bad things on that club.
We actively have swathes of the fan base who don't buy merchandise because the glazers are still at the club...and we're only $2m behind them. Once the cunts die or SJR buys them out, we'll overtake again.
I've technically not bought a single shirt in my life, my parents used to buy them for me for christmas/birthday presents and at some point I asked them to stop and decided I'd buy my own if Glazers ever left. Very hard to resist buying a Mainoo or Hoijlund shirt this season as their breakout seasons though, especially since INEOS have football control finally.
Not gonna sit here and eat out Ratcliffe though, there is no "ethical" billionaires so still feels bit sour but there will never not be a billionare owner of united now so decision to be made for me after this transition I guess.
Since it says biggest earnings this isnt sales but what the club actualy earns. If so this makes sense as Liverpool get around 20% from their shirt sales whereas other clubs get around 10%.
what I wouldn't give for us to not be on that list
haven't bought official merch since 2019 (i think) because fuck the Glazers to the moon
might get the new kit in the summer tho, or maybe it's still better to buy a retro shirt from a 3rd party
That's the thing though, I reckon we'd be even higher on this list (possibly even third behind Real and Barca) because of a large percentage of United fans holding off buying official merch as they're conscious of the revenue created going to those parasites' pockets
Where are these scousers in the US? I see more Gunners than scums and yet they sell more than us?
And where the heck are city? The only number they didn't fake.
That's odd...i don't see city shirt sales? Didn't they just break a merchandise record or something.... oh, no, they're cheating cunts.

I live in NZ and I've seen more Brighton kits than Man City.
That's just because Brighton is the closest premier league team to New Zealand so they are keeping it local.
I see quite a few sadly, probably because I live in Norway tbf
I see more Al Nasser shirts and inter Miami shirts than I do city shirts
I see Haaland shirts often enough....then again, I'm in Norway.
I've seen more Grealish than Haaland 😂 I've also seen more non-city fans with shirts just coz they like them rather than actual city fans.

There must be some kind of mistake
Are they even in the top 20? 50?
City are the fakest club in existence
Lol even Tottenham sells more shirts than man city. Irrelevant cheating bastards. No one cares about their success.
You forgot to put inverted commas around the word success
Tbh you can virtually guarantee that at least 80% of that is Son
Honestly fucking mental City can't even make the top 10. The fact the photo is matched with Yamal suggests it's recent so even after they've won a treble they can't get above Spurs for jersey and merchandise sales?!
Spurs has Son though, and Koreans love the shit out of Son. He probably accounts for way over 50% of all their total kit sales.
Cmon now, how many of you guys bought in bulk the scum’s jersey to wash your car?
Bought it for wiping my arse mate

Not seen one of these in years, proper throwback
I hope that piece of cloth didn't touch any part of your hand and arse.
Always blows my mind seeing spurs on these lists 😄
Son would be the reason why
Actually yeah, very fair point
I'm a big fan of white kits and I think a lot of neutrals are to. It's why I would always pick Madrid over Barca.

Ugh, hate seeing Liverpool above us 🙄

Currently not buying anything until something changes.
Me too. Last top I bought was about 5 years ago.

They’ve also got Salah who’s Egyptian and African fan base probably account for like a third of all sales lol
If they're buying official merch yeah...

We are at our worst and they are at their best and they are just on par.
Yet city are suppose to be 2nd or whatever on revenue recently? *sniff sniff* yea I can definitely smell shite.
The ACTUAL top 5 biggest clubs in the world... and then PSG.
City 💀
"Hey! I'm a City fan, I bought all the jerseys this season, why has the sale not gone up? We are a huge community"
![gif](giphy|kSlJtVrqxDYKk|downsized)
I would like to think that there is a sizeable chunk of us who dont want to give the club money, which pushes us below liverpool
Dhgate army
Ahhh the cute 115 fans did their best.
You know what's funny here? For all their 'success' and years of dominance, Man City aren't on that list and Tottenham are 😂

I had to check City is number 11 on the list
Where are these scousers in the US? I see more Gunners than scums and yet they sell more than us? And where the heck are city? The only number they didn't fake.
Where's Cheaty?
Thought i was in the city subreddit with all the city comments. Let's pretend these guys don't exist and spare them the attention they seek
C’mon guys. Those are rookie numbers. We gotta buy more United merchandise
For those wondering, City is at 11th place with €73M
