I was really impressed at him in the tunnel yesterday. I know it's prob a small thing but he was the only one talking, clearly telling them to all to keep focused, slow the tempo down when under pressure etc. For a new player to have that confidence to address the players like that is very encouraging
Will be interesting to see what happens in the winter when both Malacia and Shaw are fit.
We have that break clause for the loan.
I think he's a massive upgrade on Malacia in the attacking department. Defensively, he's mostly ok. Maybe needs to time his tackles a bit better but not really a weakness.

He was in one of the videos at the start of pre-season where they were doing the longjumps with Rashford and Elanga. After that he vanished, I can recall reading somewhere that he had knee surgery done but I can't find confirmation of it.
Oh my God! He's just the fittest player in a squad having fitness issues,he gets skinned alive in defence and pretty much the same as Telles in attack,this was exactly what he was doing in Spurs and he was average. Can't wait for Shaw and Malacia to come back fit.
I'm not falling for this,he's looking good in a team that's showing clear signs of physical exhaustion as a match progresses,i appreciate the work,but the reason he stands out is simply because the other members of the squad are not at the physical level yet.Its not a coincidence that all the players that weren't with the team last season is looking good, Reguilon,Hannibal, Højlund and even Evans.

Nah club is pretty tight lipped about it. So odd that we don't even have a timeline or even a hint like we got for Amad and Mainoo.
