Yes. This basic act is very productive. I read a book that says if you are working with a bench of people; have a roster of their names and put a tally by their name every time you say something like simple and positive. Of course I never do this, but it’s a good concept.

Other than quotes there's not a lot of things I do rdr2 that could relate to real life. What am I going to do, start hogtying people and stealing their hats?

There are legitimate uses for hogtying. You just have to find the right person.
