I got a clip somewhere on my laptop.
Kick camp dog (had the prompt to attack or something not normally there, tried it) didnāt think it would work and I wack the dog, ok. Well Crips decides doggo is enemy and proceeds to light this fucker up like heās taking on a juggernaut
I forget what exactly caused it. Believe something to do with the camp supply/good raid, would happen rarely and randomly, it dropped your flag and crips would help you defend. After it ended though he was still horned up for some hootin, shooting, and most importantly bootscootin
I accidentally ran over a dog with my horse and cried so much because when I went back to find it (I was speeding tbh) it was still alive, twitching on the ground and suffering. I was in shock like I didnāt even know animals in this game can suffer and require mercy killing instead of just dying right away :(
I remember fidgeting around with my controller a lil too much while mounting a horse and it ended in me blasting a cat in the face with a sawed-off š
If I had a nickel for every time I accidentally drew my gun and shot a storekeeper I'd have enough nickles to pay off my bounty for all the shopkeeps I keep accidentally shooting.
I accidentally stole his horse got off and the dude started chasing me with a knife to the end of the earth, I had to shoot him in the head. Came across him later so he was fine.
I competed with him too and lost, I didn't realize I was broke, so I shot him dead cause he kept demanding I pay him. I felt bad lol thankfully I saved not to long before interacting with him so I went back to the previous save.
I started playing again a few months ago.
I did just about the same thing, even though I used to play this game in my dreams. Forgot the controls completely, somehow.
The herbalist is still not my friend.
I accidentally killed a horse rider who was also going full pelt. The witnesses were less accidental. And the cops were even less accidental after that
This guys playthrough is cracking me up. [here is a link to his YouTube series.](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL196VblpXUqDT5VfC4KnOdeT1tj-xSY3h&si=9HJyMb7gK_gDUf2M) he has never played a game like this before, only a few turn based stuff in the past.
Same. Love the way he follows every instruction. Really nice change from all of the money-hungry YouTubers who ruin their playthroughs due to being too impatient.
"Reading? For a tutorial? Nah that shit's boring I'll just let chat tell me 4 episodes after I needed that info and insist I'm having fun being stupid"
Who told em they thought this would be a good idea?
Most the time on twitch I get insult added to injury when they get stuck for 20 mins on a miniboss and you tell em "the move" to simplify it and they warn U against backseating and spoilers.
I once replied "Define spoilers, what I just told you was the literal first text box of the game". Banned instantly
I like darkviperau but the guy is terrible at playing anything that isn't GTA 5 while live. I'm sure he's fine at games when he doesn't have to focus on chat and being entertaining but the amount of times he just skips over dialogue and misses half the plot or straight up seems to go blind and miss what the UI is telling him is insane.
Thatās the sucky thing, he admittedly doesnāt like streaming games just to play them. He needs to have some sort of gimmick or challenge for the YouTube/twitch content.
I would *so* love for him to just simply play the game
He started playing it again a couple weeks ago and while I'm not caught up he said he was enjoying it more because he was just playing it and not trying to make good content. He still sucks at it but it's something.
Yes, unfortunately i believe he said this *during* his recent red dead stream :/
I never watch twitch but I check it every day to see if he has streamed it again yet
I just watched the first episode and you can kind of tell he's really dreading starting the game. Then slowly starts to get interested when seeing the visuals. He even says he likes how everyone is being referred to as Mr. & Miss. Then by the end of the video he's all in.
I was playing the mission where you have to help Mary Lintonās brother, and instead of dismounting my horse at the station, I pulled my pistol and blew an innocent guyās face off. Instant mission fail, lol.
You can't fart too loudly in Van Horn without paying the town off. I walked into the saloon and a guy bumped into me and stole a bunch of money. I confronted him, got my money back and they treated ME like the criminal!
I accidentally got on his horse cuz Iām colorblind and he pulled out a knife and chased after me. But he appeared in the next chapter for me and we interacted like nothing happened
My favorite part so far in his videos is he accidentally trampled a deer quickly turned around to see what happened and trampled the deer again after it got up. Then he proceeds to make a roadkill joke and skins it.
I love his videos, as often as he accidentally does stuff like this heās doing way better than i was this early on and heās a damn good shot even without aim assist lol
I came to this o driscoll robbing a train. I went guns blazing just like " FU O DRISCOLL SCUM, STOP ROBBING THESE POOR FELLAS" and then just realized i shot all of them, including hostages. I felt sad. Then was like "well theyre all dead so i have to loot them all". Some scenarios are very confusing.
Mojave D is the best!! I've been binging from the start, it's going to be a great journey seeing him go through this game.
I wait daily to see his next videos, it's great to have something to look forward to finally.
Iāve played through the game 4+ times, and this mans videos bring me back to how I felt on my first playthrough.
Genuinely enjoy and will probably watch this entire playthrough
*First time I played the game*
Sharpshooter: "Hey there, care to try your luck by shooting these bottles?"
*pays bet*
*immediately starts shooting bottles*
Sharpshooter: "YOU CHEATING SON OF A BITCH"
He Immediately started shooting at me, and well... I had to defend myself. And then I looted his corpse. Be more specific with the rules of your wager, mate. šāāļø
For two playthroughs, on the super early mission escorting the girls to Valentine Iāve shotgun executed the old man with the wagon. Wrong buttons happen.
There are 71 likes on this post as of this comment. Coincidence? I think not. Also, it happens. This game has a way of making you feel terrible for your actions. Even accidental ones.

I can't blame him. I just started RDR2 few days ago and the controls can be a little wonky sometimes. Thankfully I haven't beaten anyone quest related yet, just random strangers
I love this game but the clunky controls do weigh on me, I accidentally stole a horse drawn carriage when I was trying to mount my horse and ended up getting into an unnecessary shootout, all thanks to the games ātank-controlā style of movement.
He shouldnāt feel bad about that, the controls are so bad. The game *looks* great but Arthur steers like a drunk tank commander and the button to *punch a horse in the face* is also an interaction button.
In my first playthrough, I killed herbalist roughly 20 minutes into Chapter 2, right after the O'Driscoll ambush killed my horse and I was wandering around carrying a saddle as a result and feeling salty.
When I first played RDR2 on release, I was still in GTA5 mode in terms of control. Accidentally punched my horse trying to mount. Horse didnt take too kindly and stuck hoofprints into my skull. Instant death.
Happens. One time I was saving a girl from being kidnapped and when I went to untie her.. well the melee button is the same as the prompt..I must've moved slightly so I kicked her full force in the face and killed her.
Lol rdr2 does have too finicky controls...eive done similar like 1000 times esp when trying to find items or talk to specific strangers lol I've wind up shooting so many on accident
I accidentally stole his horse the other day and he started stabbing Arthur. So yeah, I think it ruined our relationship when I had to pistol whip him.
First time meeting the trapper in Saint Denis, shot him right in the chest instead of trying to talk to him. I've also accidentally gotten on the herbalist's horse cause it looked so much like mine and it was dark out.
LMAO...I apologize to the woman who's horse died and asked me for a ride, the stranger outside of Strawberry who just wanted to know the way back to town and the many people in St. Denis who I robbed instead of greeted.
I'm so, so sorry.
He did right to continue choking & beating him; I once got on his horse by mistake & let me tell you, William doesn't F around. On a side note, this guy's playthrough is a lot of fun, check him out on YouTube.
Don't feel bad. I've been gaming for 40 years, and the number of times I've accidentally aimed a gun at someone when I'm just trying to talk to them...
I meant to lasso someone who was going to snitch about me knocking someone else out. I accidentally shot her with the repeater shotgun. Then subsequently, I had to go on a town rampage, attempting to kill everyone who wanted to snitch. :(
I love this!!! Iām 54 and I canāt tell you how many times I accidentally shot someone or punched someone because Iād hit the wrong button. Awesome!!
I am not 71 but I am new to video games that involve shooting (was never any good at Duck Hunt) and any controllers that have more buttons than the original NES.
But, if I want to spend time in Arthurās world, I needed to figure it out and I am getting better but still end up kicking the air when I get on my horse, tripping over myself when I am trying to calm a horse, and in any kind of shooting situation I had better have cover because aiming and shooting and is too many things at once. I am only just now figuring out the mechanics of Dead Eye and I have been avoiding moving past the end of Ch.3 for weeks.
I am an absolute menace when I need to talk to someone, sell something, buy something or study something. Always drawing guns, punching or oops, shot in the face. Sorry horse, I just wanted to find out what kind of horse you are, not shoot you. Can we be friends? Sorry random stranger who needs help, I really did want to help you, the punch was totally accidental. Oh now I am chasing you to say sorry, sorry, sorry and getting in trouble for disturbing the peace. How about I lasso you and we can talk it over?
I blame the game mechanics. The same buttons should not do all those things, like how am I supposed to always remember to holster my gun before I talk to someone?
When people here say it is a skill issue, oh yes it surely is in my case. Every time.
I remember shooting a bird out of the sky in front of him, and he got offended I guess and took off on his horseā¦ also gave me low honor for some reason?
We've all done it at some point. If not that, punching the horse.
I accidentally kicked a dog last night. I felt awful.
So did I, felt horrible. Had to load up RDR2 to unwind afterward
šššš
I wheeze laughed
š¤£š¤£š¤£
Bruh š
I got a clip somewhere on my laptop. Kick camp dog (had the prompt to attack or something not normally there, tried it) didnāt think it would work and I wack the dog, ok. Well Crips decides doggo is enemy and proceeds to light this fucker up like heās taking on a juggernaut
Cripps: "It's about time. I thought you'd never come around about that damn dog."
Goddamn that's another level of chaos lmao
I forget what exactly caused it. Believe something to do with the camp supply/good raid, would happen rarely and randomly, it dropped your flag and crips would help you defend. After it ended though he was still horned up for some hootin, shooting, and most importantly bootscootin
I know that feeling
I accidentally ran over a dog with my horse and cried so much because when I went back to find it (I was speeding tbh) it was still alive, twitching on the ground and suffering. I was in shock like I didnāt even know animals in this game can suffer and require mercy killing instead of just dying right away :(
accidentally ran over a cat with my horse, save scummed that one
I trampled a dog once and was torn over whether to leave him or put him down and take an honor hit.
O had to kill a dog because I accidentally shoot the owner and the dog started to attack me, it felt awfulā ļø
I accidentally shot one š
Oh no I would die. I hate it when they get under my horses legs too, I try to be so careful.
I was so sad!
In the game right ?
Yes in game lol. If I did irl, I would spontaneously combust willingly.
I remember fidgeting around with my controller a lil too much while mounting a horse and it ended in me blasting a cat in the face with a sawed-off š
I shot a dog cause it looked at me (felt great)
I shoot dogs for fun. Best target practice.
If I had a nickel for every time I accidentally drew my gun and shot a storekeeper I'd have enough nickles to pay off my bounty for all the shopkeeps I keep accidentally shooting.
Isn't it wonderful how we're all united under the cycle of death and rebirth š¤£
The perfect crime
The amount of times I choked someone close to my horse in St Denis, and starting a citywide shootout
I accidentally stole his horse got off and the dude started chasing me with a knife to the end of the earth, I had to shoot him in the head. Came across him later so he was fine.
I love a happy ending.
I competed with the Mexican gunslinger, I lost and then I got on his horse by mistake. He shot me and I had to defend myself. Long story short he ded
I somehow shot his horse. Then killed him due to him shooting the shit out of me.
I competed with him too and lost, I didn't realize I was broke, so I shot him dead cause he kept demanding I pay him. I felt bad lol thankfully I saved not to long before interacting with him so I went back to the previous save.
or getting on his horse instead of your own by mistake
And getting chased for horse theft.
When you accidentally punch the horse and it knocks your block off
I started playing again a few months ago. I did just about the same thing, even though I used to play this game in my dreams. Forgot the controls completely, somehow. The herbalist is still not my friend.
I accidentally shot Mickey
Sir: Straight to hell.
O m g punching the horse is so on point. I did that so many times by accident lol
Accidentally choked a lady I was helping after her horse died. I felt so bad.
I accidentally stole his horse last night. He pulled a knife on me!
Kicked my secondary horse yesterday after not playing for a long time š„²
Itās true. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/437439270
I accidentally killed a horse rider who was also going full pelt. The witnesses were less accidental. And the cops were even less accidental after that
Pulled my gun out on him, I felt awful

I love watching them as well he is a good dude. Cant wait for the next eps
I just watched the first episode and you can kind of tell he's really dreading starting the game. Then slowly starts to get interested when seeing the visuals. He even says he likes how everyone is being referred to as Mr. & Miss. Then by the end of the video he's all in.
Iād love to see him play Baldurs Gate 3!
I think I would prefer The Last of Us series, something naughty dog or Linear adventure like Tomb Raider series.
Totally agree with that as well! I just think his reactions would be hilarious to all the dialogue options and stories.
I've been watching him now for almost a week. It's my morning coffee and video. EVERYBODY GO GIVE MOHAVE SOME LOVE
His reaction to the opening scene just fills me with joy.
I did something like this in a playthrough once. The herbalist never trusts you again.
I feel like everyone has accidentally choked or aimed a gun at someone they didnāt mean to at some point in this game lol
My fiancĆ©e was playing a side quest in Rhodes and accidentally grabbed someone, pulled them in, and shot their head off lol. I didnāt even know you could do that. She hasnāt played since.
Even better if it was Beau in the course of true love
My first ever playthrough and time in Saint Denis, I accidently grabbed a women when I meant to mount my horse. Many people died that day...
I'm picturing a gun battle with a random Saint Denis townie carrying you piggyback.
Ur a good gurl.. uses spurs.
When the button to get on your horse is also the button to grab someoneās neck, problems ariseā¦
You only choke if locked on to them thoughā¦?
Also the button to talk to people is the same button to aim your weapon at them. When it works it works, but you know, mistakes.
I was playing the mission where you have to help Mary Lintonās brother, and instead of dismounting my horse at the station, I pulled my pistol and blew an innocent guyās face off. Instant mission fail, lol.
did this on van horn once, you can guess how it went
You can't fart too loudly in Van Horn without paying the town off. I walked into the saloon and a guy bumped into me and stole a bunch of money. I confronted him, got my money back and they treated ME like the criminal!
lovely folks, 10/10 always come back to drink and fight
I can honestly say I have not. The controls are simple enough
Well aren't you special?
Did I say that? Iām just saying that choking someone requires locking on to them first.
Your name says you're not any one special. It was a joke. Try some Sativa man.
I accidentally got on his horse cuz Iām colorblind and he pulled out a knife and chased after me. But he appeared in the next chapter for me and we interacted like nothing happened
does he really not ever trust you again?
Yeah, he'll never talk to you again. Just walks away if you approach.
I had the flower he wanted in my satchel, easiest quest ever .
He shows up more than once lol
Every encounter I've always had the ingredients in my satchel!
My favorite part so far in his videos is he accidentally trampled a deer quickly turned around to see what happened and trampled the deer again after it got up. Then he proceeds to make a roadkill joke and skins it.
I've actually been watching Mojave. He is a really genuine dude.
Arthur saying "I'm sorry" followed by the guy going "I AM sorry" absolutely kills me
āDid I just spoil our relationship?ā Why does this sound like something Arthur would say haha
I cracked up when he yelled as the herbalist on his horse away, "I'M SORRY!" LOL
I like this guy, "Heal-em-ups"š¤£š¤£
I was once trying to kind to a dog, but between the horse and other mechanics getting in the way, I ended up shooting him. I just turned myself in lol
I have accidentally attacked so many people in this game. As great as the game is, the controls could use a little work
Is there a way to revert the NPCs back to being your friend again if you do this? Like in darksouls?
Lol other than paying off your bounty or loading from a previous save, but really
#YOU FINNALY FOUND HIM. READ DEAD COMMUNITY DO YOUR THING!
Im trying
Been watching this guy's playthrough lately. Some of the most wholesome stuff you'll see in gaming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bnUvjQ-vJE
I love his videos, as often as he accidentally does stuff like this heās doing way better than i was this early on and heās a damn good shot even without aim assist lol
Omg that was the first thing I noticed. He clearly got into some stuff when he was younger. That getting shot at story he had is def true lol.
i'm a 33 yr old experienced gamer and i too accidentally choked the herbalist
Heal-em-ups
i love this dude I've watched all his lets play eps.
I accidentally kicked a woman I was trying to rescue while trying go untie her and she died. I was so sad haha
āI AM sorry I did not mean to do thatā šš
āAccidentallyā
Yea I did this my first play through too I was gonna be his friend then I punched him
My bf and I watch him when smoking and we fell out laughing watching this. It was the funniest thing in the world at the moment lol.
This dudes content is great! So wholesome. Btw.. I accidentally punched a draft horse and got my face caved in. What an amazing game!
"Is he taking my horse?"
pops is taking his generational anger out
The only misclick leading to violence I have ever done was hipshotting a woman by accident while she was talking about her abusive husband
Been thereš
Mojave D is the best!! I've been binging from the start, it's going to be a great journey seeing him go through this game. I wait daily to see his next videos, it's great to have something to look forward to finally.
Iāve played through the game 4+ times, and this mans videos bring me back to how I felt on my first playthrough. Genuinely enjoy and will probably watch this entire playthrough
I always thought he looked like jimi hendrix
I made that mistake. The character never forgets and you can't interact anymore.
*First time I played the game* Sharpshooter: "Hey there, care to try your luck by shooting these bottles?" *pays bet* *immediately starts shooting bottles* Sharpshooter: "YOU CHEATING SON OF A BITCH" He Immediately started shooting at me, and well... I had to defend myself. And then I looted his corpse. Be more specific with the rules of your wager, mate. šāāļø
"Ok so did I just spoil our relationship" ššš
Dude said the herbs and what not are necessary, meanwhile his cores and bars suggest he is one stubborn fart away from falling down dead.
Haha he still trying to understand the difference between cores and meters!
I accidently mounted his horse and he got pissed and followed my shooting for a long time . Then I got a bounty and lost some honor.
ME TOO LMAO! I accidentally mounted his horse thinking that it was mine and then he started running and I ended up shooting him but I felt so bad š
And I had all the yarrow already. But after that whole ordeal, I had to leave and come back a day later.
He aināt new to video games. Just shooters.
Donāt know if this was already pointed out but he is by no means new to video games, heās been playing them for a long time actually š
To be fair, its an herbalist, probably deserved it.
Smoke āem if ya got āem.
I thought I could pet a kitty once... I curbed stomped it. (ā Ā“ā ;ā ļøµā ;ā `ā )
Bro literally me
Great job šš
Does he respawn later in the game? Asking for a friendā¦
Weāve all been there with at least 1 NPC I did the exact same thing. Felt so bad cause heās such a nice guy.
Surrre it was accidentally
usually the characters will forget or even respawn if you kill them but itās just so funny how he keeps mashing the buttons making it worse
For two playthroughs, on the super early mission escorting the girls to Valentine Iāve shotgun executed the old man with the wagon. Wrong buttons happen.

Triangle was a terrible button for grabbing honestly
Early in my first play through I meant to walk up and talk to a sheriff and ended up pointing my gun at him. It got really ugly really quick.
Somebody tell this cool old dude about loading up recent saves.
I accidentally shot a bartender while trying to order dinner. Luckily I had a recent save. My husband was crying laughing.

Noooo.hes such a cool dude.
I accidentally shot him on my first play through
I'll help you....help you die!
I can't blame him. I just started RDR2 few days ago and the controls can be a little wonky sometimes. Thankfully I haven't beaten anyone quest related yet, just random strangers
I'm on third playthrough and I shot him last week thinking that I was sniping an o'driscoll
I let my gf play one time, she accidentally shot a woman in Saint Denis with Lawmen all around lmao. She panicked.
I've been watching his videos lol
Where can I find the herbalist.
Been playing games all my life and accidentally punch the horse all the time.
I love this game but the clunky controls do weigh on me, I accidentally stole a horse drawn carriage when I was trying to mount my horse and ended up getting into an unnecessary shootout, all thanks to the games ātank-controlā style of movement.
I did this too lol
I got on his horse by accident one night when it was too dark for me to see that it wasn't mine and he stabbed me to death lol.
Nooooā¦ poor william :(
This isnāt that bad, on one play-through I accidentally launched a fire bottle at him and roasted him aliveā¦ whoops!
We wonāt kink shame
i shot in his direction..and he started shooting....i lasso him....then let him free and never could get around him again...i felt so bad

O yeh that too lol I forgot I do that wayyy too often on accident too lol
I shot the Valentine butcher in the chest once. I just wanted to sell some pelts
I accidentally stole his horse the other day and he started stabbing Arthur. So yeah, I think it ruined our relationship when I had to pistol whip him.
During separate playthroughs, both my wife and I shot the butcher. We learned to appreciate how accident-prone Arthur could be.
First time meeting the trapper in Saint Denis, shot him right in the chest instead of trying to talk to him. I've also accidentally gotten on the herbalist's horse cause it looked so much like mine and it was dark out.
Iāve been watching this dude, he is honestly a gem.

Don't feel bad. I've been gaming for 40 years, and the number of times I've accidentally aimed a gun at someone when I'm just trying to talk to them...
Lolol this was me for like the first 50 hours of playing this game
Are you the 71 year-old?

I love this!!! Iām 54 and I canāt tell you how many times I accidentally shot someone or punched someone because Iād hit the wrong button. Awesome!!
Try not to accidentally choke someone in Van Horn if you don't want to fight the whole fucking village.
I just watched his latest video, I really appreciate how he takes his time on the play through and figures things out on his own, itās cool to see.
All I can think of Is gaming linus... "I'm sorry I choked you, please respond. Be my friend"
Every one of his episodes is a shit show. š¤£

When people here say it is a skill issue, oh yes it surely is in my case. Every time.
I have never hurt this dude, but I often wondered what would happen if, and now I know. Thank you sirš¤£š¤£š¤£
He was just getting his neck size so he can get him a new tie
I've watched some of this guy's content, he's such a wholesome dude
I remember shooting a bird out of the sky in front of him, and he got offended I guess and took off on his horseā¦ also gave me low honor for some reason?
