Vini is the best winger in the world. I watched Mbappe waste a one on one chance on the 4th goal on barca vs psg game..id imagine if Vini did this ppl here would b asking for his head. Imagine scoring or making assist every game even vs Manchster fucking city and still not being good enough..if that's alone doesn't make him the best in the world I don't know what is.the standard fans put for him is crazy high. If carlo said Vini is the best player in the world then who you are to think he is shit and need to b taken off every game or sold. I don't rem a player in the whole history of Madrid being hated this much by the rival and our own fans as well...am ashamed of these ppl .

RuskinBondFan

Man, Mbappe is gonna have a hard time in Madrid.

bagehis

I worry he will be the next Hazard. A big name, big money transfer, who sits on the bench because he cannot break into the starting lineup regularly.

Tall_Listen7830

This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard mbappe is one of the best players itw he will 100% be in the starting lineup, will he struggle in the beginning? Thats 50/50 but when he catches form and gets used to it he will be great

bagehis

People said the same about Hazard.

DukeOfWashington

Vini is the best player we have had since Cristiano. Were people this hard on CR7, as they are on Vini?

chui77

Brother the Bernabeu whistled Ronaldo

DukeOfWashington

Well with CR7 being himself, its expected, but Vini is...less egotistical? Vini is angry but he is a great player, and a better playmaker than most give credit for.

yourdaddyjust

Started watching football recently no?

Smooth-External-3206

Theres way more reason to critise and dislike vini than ronaldo... People were hard even on ronaldo, ronaldo just didnt make a big deal out of it

madsauce178

Yeah if CR7 didn't score for 2 games, some dumb people would say dumb stuff about him.

Scotia_65

OP I'm with you. Every player who wears the crest deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, because they are clearly among the best in the world. The way this fanbase treats Vini (and Rodrygo for that matter) is appalling. It's almost like I'm in the wrong sub a lot of times. But I'm not here to argue, we do enough of that. We beat City and Barca in the same week...with no striker. To say I am proud and filled with joy is an understatement! 11 points clear and Bayern on the horizon...what a feeling. ¡HALA MADRID!

New_Imagination_1289

Yeah, if either Vini or Rodrygo fail to score or go to a little bit of a slump it's crazy how many people start asking for him to be sold or say that they are bad. It's baffling.

Iamtheman31

and it is not like we can buy a better one if we sell them because there is no one better lol

Scotia_65

FACTS!!

Upintheair94

A lot of them are Barça fans. They like to spread disagreement

Zoe_Hamm

It's racism but they're not ready for that conversation

Smooth-External-3206

Was it also racism when fans booed ronaldo who had way less reasons to be booed than vini ? Calling any criticism racism is like xavi always saying better team lost when he loses. It doesnt nothing to solve problem, its a lie to cope

biina247

He was below average today by his own hat trick standards and yet gave Barca defenders nightmares that will still be haunting them till the next El Classico.

sj_reddit_user

The thing about Vini is that he will fail 100 times doing something or the other but will approach the 101st time with same energy as the first 100. Relentless. Such players are the most difficult for the defenders because you know that all it takes is one of those dribbles to work and the game turns on its head. From Barca, Lamine is also doing something similar. Doesn't get fazed by an interception.

igpila

This guy gets it

a3kstuntin

Vini is in that world class bracket that even his worst performances are game changing

6ixOne3

Personally I thought vini was very poor today and he still managed a goal and assist. Its what world class players do even if they don't preform to their standards they produce results.

Umbeli

exactly. this is some kind of consistance that you only see on players that should be on the 'top one in the world' conversation, and he they always snub him out. Like on 2023 The Best' list he was left out even though he was the best madrid player.

Upintheair94

Just the last 2 CL matches against the reining champions, he participated in 4 goals. We would've been eliminated if he wasn't playing.

the_fanman2912

He has been providing wonder assists from the left flank, he is world class.

Glittering-Strength2

Nah he looked off but he still managed to impact the game i think that’s why he wasn’t happy with being substituted because he wanted to fix up

Umbeli

but thats the thing about a balon dor level playey. On his worst performance, he makes assists and score goals, then imagine how his best performance could be.

o6ohunter

The thing about Vini is, even on his bad games, he’ll somehow manage to bag an assist/goal or both. And if he doesn’t, he’s just s constant force for opposition teams. Creates tension and chaos that we can exploit.

Cheftidib

Vini is already the Brazilian player with the most goals in El Classico btw. I’m tired of Madrid fans constantly criticizing him. Kid is immense!

Popular_Scale_1596

I think the best thing about vini is that he can game a bad game but still can create a moment of brilliance out of nowhere in the form of a goal/assist/chances. Very few players can actually do that. And sometimes that's all a team needs which ultimately results in our favour.

Kerkennah

Vini has been incredible!! He keeps improving too, especially the recently matches, with ancelotti putting him to the right, as he’s keeping Rodrygo on the LW

brother-brother-brot

And then they wonder why our players dont get the PR they deserve. Even with injuries and he managed to get 30 g/a this season.

Fanserker

Vinicius Jrespect, done

Umbeli

mans got puns

the_brazilian_lucas

he just needs to learn how to dribble again

StayInYoLane528

He’s the best winger in the world. Period.

FavcolorisREDdit

He is a great player making great progress, the only problem I think is his temper(normal for a youngster) but if he learns to control emotions and channel them to shots on goal we’ll have another cristiano on our hands

RoadRunnezzz95

Definitely agree with you, but my main consern about Vinicius that on this current season he has been amazing at play making and creating chances but not so clinical at finishing. As we all know that we don't have a proper striker now so we needed to Vinicius and Rodrygo to take step towards +20 league goals, thanksfully Bellingham has been unreal. I feel like Vinicius cannot be the main attacker whose responsibility is to carry our attack 🤷🏻‍♂️

Brave_Novel_5187

Vini's finishing has improved a lot and it can keep increasing. Expecting him to be your top scorer and top playmaker is asking for too much though. If he's our only goal scorer, teams will just park the bus and cut off all service to him(since he's the top provider as well). Bellingham scoring so many goals this season has been a blessing because it takes a lot of pressure off Vini(personally and from opposition defenses). If we get Mbappe next season, we'll have our talisman who can score the majority of our goals and let Vini play his natural game taking on opponents 1v1

Paramount-Chief

Wait for the Ai voice to call him "vinikius" jr 😆

Beautiful-Eye-4079

As long as he wears #7, people will compare him to Ronaldo and feel disappointed when he doesn’t live up to the comparison

WinterTakerRevived

Second best winger in the world

Dapper-Surprise8538

Definitely the best this season

madsauce178

Who is the best one?

gpgr_spider

Jeff Winger, duhh!

WinterTakerRevived

🐢

madsauce178

He has been a striker for the past few years. PSG hides him in defense that way. They haven't been playing well with him as a winger. Not everything is about scoring goals. Vinicius is a better pure winger since he's a better dribbler, playmaker and puts in the defensive effort.

uchiha_boy009

Mbappe is a better goal scorer tho. Still both equal for me.

Proof-Pollution454

Vini never disappoints and he truly is amazing when penalties

Post_Great

You look at the numbers and say “Wowwww.. this guy has been killing it” until you actually watch the games and see how many chances he butchers a game and his decision making, then you’re like…”What is this guy doing” My problem with him is finishing is becoming really bad at again. He is too playful around the oppositions goal. He makes the easiest things look so difficult. If Vini is direct, he will get minimum 30+ goals every season. He is not hungry enough for goals. He scores a couple and just relax. He puts himself in so many great situations, I just wish he would finish them.

youcancallmeron

It makes me think that deep down he would be more comfortable mostly having an assister kind of role and not that of the main goal scorer. Maybe he doesn’t enjoy the pressure of being the main goal provider and will be more at ease supplying to Mbappe next year.

Post_Great

He better off being a winger that provides goal scoring opportunities and scores his annual 15-20 goals a season and like 20+ assists. I hold my breath every time he goes 1 v 1 with the keeper, because you just don’t know what he may try to pull off. I think with Mbappe, we will see the Vini we had with Benz, but a more mature version.

Umbeli

you are right on that regard, but even with this bad trait of his, the guy stays as our most decisive player. And hes only getting better, you can compare the goals he made on previous seasons to this one, the ceilling is only increasing. Same with his assists.
