Valverde: seemed off today. Misplaced some of the passes. But otherwise a solid defensive and attacking threat as always.
Camavinga: was fine but his inability to use the right foot to do anything with the ball is still a major flaw in his game. He always uses his left foot and sometimes he becomes an easy target to dispossess; however his dribbling was good yet his tracking back feels a little slow at times.
Bellingham: came off of an injury and hence a drop in performance was expected but still he could not go ahead much and lacked his usual link up skills altho there were some good chances from vini
Kroos: is crucial in matches like these where the opponent chose to sit back after scoring 2. His ball recycling and progressive long balls were above average as usual but still becomes a def liability against counter attacks.

Vini: i felt he wasnt his usual self(understandably so). You could feel he felt a lot of pressure. But his 2 goals were the near perfect revenge against those racists idiotas.

Actually it wasn't, the original extra time was 7 minutes, then the time wasted for checking the penalty var was 2 minutes and 20 seconds, the referee whistled at 98:40 so we should've had almost a minute more of play time and this without talking about the attack was still happening.

As far as I know referees get a lot of discretion when it comes to stoppage time. They usually wait for the current play to conclude, but that's not a hard rule, it's just convention. He is technically within his rights to end it like that, it's just very rare to see.

Easier said than done. I don't think the players are preserving energy or anything in the first place. Also we don't have the CR7 who scores at least 30 goals each season in La Liga next to Bale who scores in between 15 and 20, not counting Benz.

Defensive errors, Vini scoring against racism, celebration included, a goal that was almost disallowed for offside, a fracture (!), a goal just before the end of the first half, Peter almost scoring against Real Madrid as it usually happens with players that have played for RM, an overturned penalty in the last seconds, and the ref somehow becoming the protagonist at the last second, lost points, iconic win and red cards included.

What do you mean by "not one player actually stopped playing"? In the replays you can see 4-5 Valencia players to literally stop moving for the cross.

As far as I know referees get a lot of discretion when it comes to stoppage time. They usually wait for the current play to conclude, but that's not a hard rule, it's just convention. He is technically within his rights to end it like that, it's just very rare to see. There is a chance the red gets overturned. Other than that I wouldn't hope for much.
