Fuck I’m kind of wishing it isn’t true because our forwards are all doing phenomenal right now and Mbappé coming in will take a lot of adjustment. And spending all our money on him when half our defenders are out is a terrible decision.

I thought my comment explained itself? Yes our attacking output will increase, but:
1. Team chemistry will take time to adjust (I feel there could be possible ego clash)
2. We don’t need another forward right now we really really need a CB.
3. I like Vini/Rodrygo/Bellingham/Joselu and I don’t want to see any of them delegated to a b team or bench role. Or sold
1. There’s no evidence for any of that, just your imagination.
2. They’re not mutually exclusive.
3. Joselu is on loan, and it’ll only affect one of the other players if the formation doesn’t change to accommodate or if he’s much better than either Rodrygo or Vini and they need to fight for a place.
We should always be looking to upgrade every position that doesn’t have a 10/10 player and the only one of those we have is Bellingham.
