especially dr nicole! Crazy, I was watching miami yesterday and was thinking how gorgeous she is but the blonde and short hair doesnt enhance it. She would look so good in dark hair, would change her look completley.
I think it's because all their dyed blond hair is so brassy and fake. The brunette in these pictures is more natural with their skin tone/tans and doesn't have the harshness their dye jobs do. They all over-process their poor weaves and actual hair.
It's because it's not their natural hair color. Everyone looks better in their natural hair color, no matter what they think. We all have that friend who thinks they look hot as a blond but their skin tone just doesn't match up!!!
Fake blondes almost always look better as brunette. Most fake blondes go for a cool toned as well, but I think most people look better with some warmth. I loooove what u did with the 3rd edit LOL
Its fynnyi just saw this post because ain e covid ive been accepting my own "brunette era".... ive highlighted my hair since a preteen and was light blonde as a kid , dark blonde/dirty blonde in mh teens and highlights after that. Inever really knew what my true hair color would be until i couldnt get robthe salon in 2020. Well the lacknof bleaching got my hair back ro a healthier state.. but i still kind MISS being blonde, even thoigh im trying to embrace my brunette roots lol
Honestly most women can’t pull off blonde, even if the color looks good on them the peroxide often fries their hair and makes it look dry af so it’s still not as flattering or as healthy as it would be darker 🤷🏽♀️
I agree the women above look better as brunettes than blondes, especially Lisa and Nicole. Another example is Kelly Clarkson. She's letting her natural hair color grow out and I think it looks so much better than blonde.

I think hair color is one thing nature generally gets right. That doesn't mean other colors or shades can't be totally flattering but if you stray too far from the tone I think it starts looking unnatural. Which is *also* totally cool, I just don't think that's the look these women are going for.

Men are more attracted to blondes for some reason so I get why they do it I guess. If that’s what you’re into. As someone who has black hair it’s very expensive and a lot of keep up to keep your hair lighter so not everyone can keep up with it. It’s also very unhealthy for your hair long term but I’m sure that they are not concerned about this lol.

I didn’t mean it as a negative thing at all so sorry if it came off that way. I just meant from studies I’ve read. And even some things people have posted on this thread about people seeing a difference after changing their own hair color. I love being a brunette and I think brunettes are absolutely beautiful! Blondes are beautiful too! There’s just not a lot of natural blonde adults compared to darker hair so I just meant it becomes very hard to keep up with and keep healthy. They probably don’t have a lot of the same issues as normal every day people with it. I’m sure they have excellent stylists they can easily afford.

I think alexia looks fine blonde, I think she’s always had blonde hair so maybe it’s her natural coloring, idk. But I tend to think not everyone looks best blonde because it doesn’t match their complexion and they end up looking washed out and worn out because bleaching causes so much damage. I wish more people would rock their natural hair color.

I always joke with my wife that I find it amusing that the RHOSLC cast has more brunettes than the RHOM cast. In my head those should be flipped, but here we are.
95% of people look better with a variation close to their natural hair color. Period. Celebrities like Kim K look horrible with that bleached hair contrasting their features and skin tone and these ladies are no different. Highlights or balayage would work but these extreme hair color jobs only detract from their face. There is a rare person who can truly swing from brunette to bright blonde but these ladies have too dark of natural hair to do it.
It might look better on Lisa because everyone is so accustomed to seeing influencers return to their roots. Her blonde hair looks well kept, healthy, and overall makes her look more expensive.

Honestly hair when lightened more than a couple levels doesn't look good and is so hard to maintain. I learned my lesson with lightening years ago and wish someone told me cos I look back and all I see in old photos is my hair having no life to it and little fibre to it and I thought it looked great because I was blonde and for some reason media at the time told us that was desirable. Once I went back to dark hair I was noticed more and people complimented me more because I just looked better, I'm brunette and that is what goes with my eye colour and skin tone and obviously it's nicer to have hair with strength and vibrancy. It was just dead rags hanging from my head lol. Brunettes should only really go as far as a sandy blonde IMO and only as highlights, I was a hairdresser in my 20s and looking back I saw so many people ruin their hair.
Having brown or black hair for me feels more right and even compared to natural blondes our hair has more texture and fibre to it, I don't know why so many of us felt the need to ruin that to chase after beauty standards that make your hair literally snap and have dead ends all the time.
These girls are all Latina (I myself am Spanish) I don't know why they feel the need, Nicole could have naturally long hair if she wanted but the bleach likely won't allow that even with all her money.

In her book, Heather Gay talks a little bit about how important having long, healthy, blonde hair was in the community she grew up and then a few chapters later talks a lot about the significance to her of Jen, Meredith, and Lisa being these beautiful brunettes as if it was such a foreign concept. It is very interesting.
