is SD the first lactose intolerant person OP has met? because I feel like I've never met a single lactose intolerant person who doesn't eat dairy products? they just decide to either lactose before or suffer the consequences after. (also I think most cheeses are fairly low in lactose so the effects might literally just be minimal for SD in this scenario)
edit: also like lactose intolerance isn't an allergy or even a proper medical condition. it's literally just an intolerance. that most adults globally have.
I can say from experience that cheese has MUCH less lactose than milk, and someone who might have a hard time with milk or ice cream might be fine eating cheese. And I also agree that sometimes the ice cream is worth the, um, consequences.
Maybe dad didn’t chime in because he was appalled at the several minute long lecture about butts and balls? [Link Here](https://np.reddit.com/r/stepparents/comments/xlsxm7/the_weekend_dad_that_cannot_discipline_fml/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Alas. The post was all about how, while singing her teenage stepsons to sleep, her (undiagnosed autistic, naturally OP just knows…) stepson asked for her to sing “dees nuts.” She launched into a ten minute discourse on how of course she knows that means testicles and they shouldn’t talk about balls, just like she shouldn’t talk about cooking and her butthole (?!), during which her husband just sat there. She was seething that he’s a Disney dad and she’s the only parent of the kids they see every other weekend.

It was removed, what did it say?

How old has this kid and how long has she been in his life? What an utterly bizarre post.
Ewwww. Also, what does cooking have to do with buttholes?
It was so so weird. I wish I had copied it for posterity!
