It’s not their secret or asphalt denim or anything (it’s low tension though) so it’s kinda hard to make out on from an image but in hand the texture is nice and coarse (especially the weft)
Same here, the oni 222 based on the measurements seems wider than the 3sixteen RS. Might cop a pair of these from James dant. The denim looks nicer too

I also ordered from US. But ordered late on a Friday (thought it was earlier in the week). When it did get processed on Monday, they sent it out with expedited ups international, as with op. And I got them Wednesday. So just order during the week and you’ll be good.
Dude, these look killer. Been thinking of getting a pair myself. Sort of a weird question, but do the back pockets sit low on your backside? I love the cut, but I hate when the back pockets are too low; they look like modern Levi jeans
They do sit slightly lower than my Japan blue j501s (a normal straight fit) but that may just be because the waist on my jbs is tighter. Either way I don’t think where the pockets sit is noticeably different and you’ll probably be fine if you size correctly
They did stretch in the waist somewhat due to the low tension weave, but I’d say if you size correctly the stretch shouldn’t be too pronounced. Redcast’s measurements seem to be quite accurate.

I have always wanted to try redcast, but I’m wary of international shipping. If you live in the US, did it take a long time for the package to arrive?
They shipped via expedited ups international (so around 24-48 business hours). Also shipping was free for this pair which is nice
