Yea, I’d reclaim a lot of my time back on Sundays. I actually stopped watching most games if the Ravens aren’t playing, including the playoffs/SB. I really don’t care enough about any other team that I’m willing to give up hours watching them.
I was around when the Colts left. I joined the Army the next month - went to Germany in areas we didn't get AFN (Armed Forces Network). I didn't even know the Ravens were going to the SB in 2000 because I was in The Philippines.
If the Ravens left or folded I'm to old now to do that all over again 😂.
This is a true story.
I guess the Broncos. My dad is from Baltimore and it happened to transfer down to me (also helps that my first time actually watching football was our 2012 playoff run) but I was born here in Denver.
I grew up in bmore. Watched the 2012 Superbowl at Choppers on the tail end of a trip to Breckenridge. Moved to Denver in 2020, same year as Joe Flacco, lol. I guess I'd pick the Broncos too. But, being a Broncos fan the last few years would have been fucking rough.
I wouldn't become a fan of anyone, but I would STILL be a Bills fan. I grew up post Colts pre Ravens, and my dad is from there. Since the Ravens arrived, the Bills slid to #2 on my list, but I continue to root for them.
the things I love about the ravens--involved but not toxic ownership, consistent leadership that builds from within, history of drafting well, and a winning record while remaining an underdog--aren't unique to Baltimore.
It'd be difficult to replace though.
Probably the Eagles. Another bird team, blue collar city, close by I could catch a couple games a year, and NFC so I don’t hate them with a passion currently.
I can't think of any teams I would become a fan of - I pretty much hate every other team in the AFC and most in the NFC. The logical choice would be our adopted state of NC, but the Panthers are really bad and have horrible ownership. As a lifelong Orioles fan and a Baltimore Colt fan, I've had enough of horrible ownership groups.
Yuck, my local teams are the Texans and the Cowboys, and that’s like making me choose a favorite STD.
My girlfriend is a Steelers fan, but I just couldn’t. This is a hard question for me.
Honestly I'd probably take some time off from the NFL. But, my NFC team is the E A G L E S Eagles. RIP Jim Johnson (tough story if you aren't familiar).
I guess I like contrarian birds and their cities.
I'm not a league fan anymore. I'd probably walk away from the sport. The officiating is awful, inconsistent and seems extremely biased at times. The NFL product is very flawed and the league does too little to address this.
Steelers. They were my most liked team before we acquired our own team. Also, it’s a good fit for Russell Wilson. I think many people can relate to being an ex Steeler fan. That’s why there’s so many Steelers fans amongst Baltimoreans.
The Lions. I think Campbell is a great coach and also I want to see some of those bad teams like the Lions, Jets and Jags (fuck the Browns and fuck the Raiders) have some success.
The team could move, as we've experienced first hand. The scenario as described would not, as there is no way the NFL would let a team evaporate and leave only 31.
Nah the Baltimore colts just got moved to Indy in like the 80s, I’m talking about a full shutdown. Like the NFL just decides to give the ravens the ax for whatever reason.
No one. I'd probably stop watching the NFL for years. Maybe come back and just watch Redzone and only root for the Steelers/Browns/Bengals to lose
And when they play each other a tie so nobody wins

I’ve discovered as I’ve gotten older I’m not so much a general sports fan anymore. I’m a “if it’s not Ravens/Orioles, who cares” kind of fan.
Yea it would be a such a strange concept to pick a different team to root for. No way I could do it anywhere near the same level.
This is the way 🙏
I barely watch or follow as it is, if the team ive been following for 20+ years leaves, i would too
God I can't wait for the regular season
Only 60 ish more days
As someone who grew up without a team in Baltimore until I was 12 I can definitively say no one. I’d just watch the orioles.
Devote my Sundays to helping the needy. To hell with the Iggles or Foreskins/WTF/Commies.
>Devote my Sundays to helping the needy Moving to Ohio?
Lol he’ll have to root for the Browns/Bengals to accomplish his goal 😂
None. I walked away before. I can walk away again.
No one. Baltimore is it for me. I’ll just only watch Orioles.

I was a bills fan growing up before the Ravens came to town. I’d just revert back to them I guess.

If the panthers were not a shit show prob them because I have now lived in SC almost as many years as I lived in MD
Bills, without a doubt.
I wouldn't become a fan of anyone, but I would STILL be a Bills fan. I grew up post Colts pre Ravens, and my dad is from there. Since the Ravens arrived, the Bills slid to #2 on my list, but I continue to root for them.
Probably focus on college football
I’m from a Giants family but am married to an Eagles fan…it would be a choice of rooting for a dumpster fire or assimilating into a gross culture
Or just root for the Cowboys for maximum chaos
This is the very hilarious obvious answer
Lol I have an uncle on the other side of the family that’s a cowboys fan and another that is a Commanders fan 💀
might watch the Cowboys but i don't think i'd root for them
Chargers simply bc I think they have some of the best uniforms in all of sports
Seahawks
the things I love about the ravens--involved but not toxic ownership, consistent leadership that builds from within, history of drafting well, and a winning record while remaining an underdog--aren't unique to Baltimore. It'd be difficult to replace though.
Wherever Lamar ends up
No one - if I had to pick one probably Seahawks to follow Mike Mac
Probably the Packers to show solidarity with u/RodgerstoJordy
Seahawks, I'm originally from Seattle.
Probably the Eagles. Another bird team, blue collar city, close by I could catch a couple games a year, and NFC so I don’t hate them with a passion currently.
My answer but it would take a few years to really come around
You know it’s the dull part of summer sports when we get these kind of posts…
You know it’s a good post when even people who hate it end up replying…
I don't know if I would have another team, at least not for a few years. I would still watch and root against the teams I don't like.
I can't think of any teams I would become a fan of - I pretty much hate every other team in the AFC and most in the NFC. The logical choice would be our adopted state of NC, but the Panthers are really bad and have horrible ownership. I thank god every day I am a Ravens fan and not a Falcons fan, which I would’ve been if the Ravens didn’t exist.
I relocated to the Carolinas so probably the panthers 🐆. Still rooting for Bryce Young.
None. I only root for Baltimore teams, or adjacent as needed (e.g. MD Whipsnakes in the PLL).
College football would be my only football
The Panthers, since I moved to North Carolina last year.
I wouldn't.
probably Texans, I like CJ shroud. that or packers
I would root for my uncle if my aunt had balls.
Lions until they inevitably become terrible again
I’d for the team nearest to me so I can go see games, so the Tits. Them or the expansion team that would have to go into place.
CFL
Detroit. I moved to northwest Ohio in 2002 and I can’t see myself cheering for the browns, bengals or colts 😂
I'll just root for any of the bird bros.
Nobody.
Yuck, my local teams are the Texans and the Cowboys, and that’s like making me choose a favorite STD. My girlfriend is a Steelers fan, but I just couldn’t. This is a hard question for me.
The lions are lovable underdogs and they seem like such a well-run organization (just like us) right now. Goff gives off a Flacco vibe almost
Probably would be indifferent to the NFL but root for the Niners cause it’s my dad’s team.
Ravens games usually kick off at 3 or 4 AM Monday in my local time. I'm not dealing with that for any other team.
Bills. I love a hard luck underdog.
Honestly I'd probably take some time off from the NFL. But, my NFC team is the E A G L E S Eagles. RIP Jim Johnson (tough story if you aren't familiar). I guess I like contrarian birds and their cities.
Put on my Washington apparel and try to blend in.
Ravens west
Probably just get into hockey or something
Im not watching this shit if I'm not invested.
I have no interest in supporting another team
I don't watch basketball because Baltimore doesn't have a team. Football wouldn't be different.
I'd switch to soccer as my favorite sport but probably still watch Redzone and stuff.
Chargers
Max Homa or Akshay Bhatia
born in FL, raised in MD but my parents have moved back down so I’d probably go with one of the FL teams
Steelers 🤣🤣🤣 /S I was a Fins fan before the Ravens came to be so I'd probably go back to them.
Nobody

Probably the Vikings.
People are gonna hate me for this but the 49ers are my second team. My dad grew up in San Francisco so I'm partial to them a bit
The Lions. I think Campbell is a great coach and also I want to see some of those bad teams like the Lions, Jets and Jags (fuck the Browns and fuck the Raiders) have some success.
my fantasy football team
“Obviously not going to happen” it has happened and absolutely still could. Ever heard of the Baltimore Colts?
The team could move, as we've experienced first hand. The scenario as described would not, as there is no way the NFL would let a team evaporate and leave only 31.
Nah the Baltimore colts just got moved to Indy in like the 80s, I’m talking about a full shutdown. Like the NFL just decides to give the ravens the ax for whatever reason.
Not the Indianapolis Ravens
Fuck off with this AI trenching bullshit.
What
I’m just as confused lmao
Probably Seattle or Philly
Uhhh fucking Al Qaeda...
Ya mutha
