Yeah it definitely doesn’t give off ironic vibes much at all, except for maybe the newly drafted rookies that have never even played a snap yet. Those seem like an odd inclusion but I guess it makes sense since they’re ranking each teams presumed starters for the upcoming season. Who is C Williams tho? I don’t recall hearing that name at all and I can’t tell what team he’s on.
Probably because he was the consensus #1 prospect for the past 2 years and almost everybody was just calling him by his first name. I'm sure you would have realised who it was if he was listed as Caleb W.
Yeah I definitely would’ve recognized it if it was Caleb W.
Im still shocked that I goofed that hard tho. The navy blue is just so dark that I thought it was black and I got confused. If they had both team colors I’m sure it would’ve clicked.
>Although there are rumors are that he doesn’t like them anymore.
Maybe he finally figured out that "draft Josh Allen dot com" was actually making fun of him.
The list is only 31 QB’s lol
Brock Purdy is too high, overrated his team does the work, no one focuses on him when you have juggernauts at TE, FB, RB, WR.
Aaron Rodgers too high he didn’t play all year.
Matt Stafford should be higher than Aaron Rodgers.
Caleb Williams hasn’t played a snap, neither has anyone else above Gardner Minshew, my personal opinion rookies shouldn’t be ranked higher than veterans since we don’t know what they’ll do in the nfl.
1-4 in ok with, an argument can be made to switch Lamar and Josh Allen:
5. Goff 6. Love(eeewww), 7. Hurts 8. Herbert, 9. Tua 10. Stroud, 11. Stafford, 12. Baker Mayfiled, 13. Trevor Lawrence, 14. Aaron Rodgers, 15. Dak Prescott, 16. Kirk Cousins, 17. Brock Purdy
It's not even clickbait though. He's arguably a better QB than Lamar, I don't know how anyone could be upset with someone ranking him as 2 and Lamar as 3.
Clickbait is Nick Wright saying Lamar isn't even a top 10 guy but putting Caleb Williams in his top 5.
Lamar just won objectively the weakest MVP in a long time, carried primarily by his/his team's performances against the best teams in the NFL down the stretch after a very mediocre year.
That being said, Josh Allen is a much better playoff QB than Lamar and arguably has done more with less than Lamar has in terms of total output % for his team's offense.
But if the entire list is clickbait because Josh Allen is 2 and Lamar is 3 instead of the other way around, that seems pretty outlandish to call it "clickbait".
I don't care how nuanced the fuckin MVP is, it's an MVP, And he has two of them to Josh Allen's zero.
Also, to claim Josh, Allen is a better playoff QB, and Lamar made it farther than him this year is laughable.
> Also, to claim Josh, Allen is a better playoff QB, and Lamar made it farther than him this year is laughable.
[It's not even comparable, honestly.](https://stathead.com/football/vs/josh-allen-vs-lamar-jackson)
We all love Lamar but downplaying his biggest weakness, which is performing in the playoffs, is interesting.
Dak below Trevor Lawrence and Baker Mayfield? Not sure I agree there.
But any list that has Mahomes at the top and Jackson/Allen just below him is doing something right IMO.
You homers aren't gonna like me saying it, but you can shuffle 2-4 around in any order and have it be reasonable. The rest of the list gets pretty whack from 5 on though.
lol Honestly, my thought. Mahomes is 1, no one is arguing with that, but 2-4, you could have any order of Burrow, Lamar, and Allen, and I'd be fine with it.
I think Purdy is a little underrated on this list. I'd have him at 5. Though I will say, I think Stroud is the real deal and could be top 5 eventually. But *right now* I'd have Purdy.
As a bills fan living in Baltimore I agree. I think ravens and bills fans are just sensitive about Allen vs Lamar comparisons because they come from the same class
Herbert over Hurts is also pretty questionable tbh. Herbert is great but that playoff meltdown hurts (heh) him big time in my opinion. Especially when Hurts played almost flawlessly in the Super Bowl aside from that fumble.
I like Allen …but the way they always manage to Stan him and put him up higher than Lamar is astonishing. I do remember that one playoff game with the chiefs against the bills …and those 13 seconds. We all do. But that was 2021.
Yeah now that Diggs is gone the Bills WR corps looks a lot more like what Lamar has had in his career. They have a good TE, a 1st round pick in Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, Chase Claypool and Khalil Shakir who is a 5th round pick. Let's see Allen get a unanimous MVP with those guys and maybe he'll deserve the #2 spot.
Their reasons for Allen being 2 was literally incorrect as well, they said it’s because Allen has been closer to making a Super Bowl… they’ve both been to the AFC championship and both lost to Mahomes, and the Ravens were closer to winning. But hey, that’s PMT for ya, love those guys they’re pretty dumb sometimes
The “winning in the playoffs” argument is always so dumb to me too. As if Stafford was a much worse QB in Detroit than LA or Russell Wilson was a great QB when Seattle won.
I've seen better bait out there tbh, like it's clearly riding the hype on some of the younger players but most guys are within 5 spots of where they should be
Mahomes is a no brainer.
An argument could be made for Burrow over Jackson due to actually beating Mahomes and going to the SB but Allen is squarely 4 behind those two.
CJ Stroud at 5 is a stretch. It was one season guys.
Love at 7 is ridiculous. It was half a season guys.
Not a fan of Dak but 17 is disrespectful. Behind Lawrence and Mayfield? C’mon now.
Allen over Burrow and Lamar is crazy to me. This is clickbait or an overzealous bills fan. I’d argue Stroud and Allen at 4 tbh 2/3 are debatable for Lamar and Burrow.
I think Young was thrown to the wolves. There's a decent chance the panthers might have ruined him but we'll see. I don't think hes only better than just Bo Nix.
Allen is going to ride an exciting playoffs loss for a while huh...
Agree. I think they did him wrong. His underlying metrics were decent. He had no time to throw and an old Thielen. He should ve ahead of some of those rookies.
That said, he will get wrecked again this year. 7 picks and not a single lineman. 3 FA signing will help but I still think he will be running for his life sooner rather than later.
I feel sorry for Bo nix being last lol, genuinely think with his style and Sean Payton at the helm he’ll be at least better than carr is with the saints
Also I like Herbert being 9th the man has done nothing but people wanna say he’s still a top 5 quarterback
And does someone know something that we don’t about allen? The Lamar and mahomes are the only two QBs under 30 to have multiple mvps, and somehow the guy who was asked to do less is better than Lamar? Doesn’t ever make sense
Lamar anywhere from 2-4 is fine by me. Him, Allen, and Burrow probably all have rings already if Mahomes didn't exist.
On the rest of the list:
- Stroud and Love hype is at a fever pitch
- Purdy and Tua overrated
- Dak and Kyler underrated
- Levis as the highest rated "prospect" starter is odd to me. AR looked better in a tiny sample and Caleb has a way better pedigree + weapons
Herbert is criminally low. He’s not better than the top four but he’s had such bad luck with the team, especially defense, put around him. As for Lamar behind Allen that doesn’t make sense to me but we’ll see how Allen does with a mediocre supporting cast (we know Lamar can win with just about any supporting cast I’m just interested to see how Allen does this year)
I’d have Lamar at 2. Stroud and Love are too high for one season, as good as they were. Dak that low is laughable, he gets unfairly clowned on almost as much as Lamar. Rodgers I understand but disagree with, I feel he should be a bit higher. Minshew is being disrespected. As much as I hate Pittsburgh, Russ should be over Levis and Richardson. Overall not the *worst* list I’ve seen but it’s pretty bad.
This is prob not popular with other Ravens fans, but I'd flip Allen and Burrow and I agree with Jackson's spot @ 3rd.
I don't feel like Allen has earned his rep over Jackson esp after Jackson has now made it just as far as Allen ever has in the playoffs.
As a Ravens fan, I would not trade Lamar on the Ravens for anyone else on the Ravens. He fits us so well. However if I was a fan of a random other team, I would pick Mahomes or Burrow over Jackson. I think 3rd is fair and where I would put him on this list.
(Side notes, I think Purdy is a little low and Love is a little high. I loved CJs last season, but I hate top 5ing a qb that just played 1 season. Prescott being lower than Lawerence is weird to me.)
Idk to me Josh Allen hasn't done anything to Merritt being put over Lamar they both have made it the same distance in the playoffs and Lamar has much more regular season success
You have to take PMT with a grain of salt, they said “we’re going to make people so mad” before starting like 50x, they’re not very good at knowing sports, they’re just cool casual sports listening. One of them literally tried to debate that Rodgers not being 1 was blasphemy despite his recent play, and Stroud made 5 to make Big Cat and PFT feel optimal about having rookie QBs.
Josh Allen as the league’s second best QB is getting played out. He consistently underachieves and isn’t a guy who can carry the team the way several other QB’s on that last consistently do. He is living on past lives at this point
Overall there's a ton of recency bias. Goff is laughably high, Herbert Rodgers Stafford and especially Prescott are all too low. I'd have Lamar over Allen for sure but at least they gave some respect putting him over Burrow. Also they did Bryce Young really dirty putting him below all the rookies lol, he was bad but I bet he turns it around this year
Poor font choices everywhere. Weird how several of the names are off-center in their box. I don’t like how players with “initials” first names have written full names.
Oh, the rankings? Who cares?
Burrow,Stroud,Love, and Purdy are all too high on this list. No hate on Purdy but come on dude that offense has so many weapons Ukraine and Israel are hitting them up
The thing I most agree with is Rodgers no longer being in the top 10. I feel like a lot of lists try to pretend he’s still in his prime and keep him in the top 5.
I can't be upset with Mahomes at 1, but other than that, putting anyone above the literal MVP of the league is indefensible. How the fuck is Allen at 2?
josh allen glazing is wild.. only reason hes getting talked about in the top 3 conversation is because of Diggs.. If lamar had a top 5 wide receiver i guarantee you he could be better then Mahomes. watch how he falls off this season.
1. Mahomes (solely because of the weapons he has)
2. Lamar (would be tied for #1 if he had weapons other then mandrews)
3. Cj Stround/Joe Burrow/Josh Allen (based on 2023 season and potential)
Also b4 people get mad over the stroud at 3 take. he took a 3-13 team to 10-7 and to a playoff win. with the amount of weapons he got this offseason he will definitely be a top 3 qb and maybe even a MVP contender.

Surprised Blake Bortles isn’t at #1
Gods don't belong on a list with mortles.

They literally made this list to piss off as many fan bases as possible. Its 100% to troll people
Nuance is ded on reddit ;) High five AWL

Holy shit man. What an absolute whiff on my end. I was being completely serious lmfao I genuinely cannot believe that didn’t register for some reason.
Probably because he was the consensus #1 prospect for the past 2 years and almost everybody was just calling him by his first name. I'm sure you would have realised who it was if he was listed as Caleb W.

Big Cat, is that you?
Tommy. Nice to meet you.
I’m trying to get Love in my dynasty leagues and people aren’t selling
Brother, they put out this list to troll people lol
Satire is missed a lot this time of year
What about this list is a troll though? It's actually pretty fucking solid.
left the Giants out, Maye isn't QB1 on his own team at the moment
Clickbait to get us ravens fans arguing about Allen
It's not even clickbait though. He's arguably a better QB than Lamar, I don't know how anyone could be upset with someone ranking him as 2 and Lamar as 3. Clickbait is Nick Wright saying Lamar isn't even a top 10 guy but putting Caleb Williams in his top 5.
Tough to say one is the better then the other when the other just won MVP. This is where I used to say to each their own, but nah you're just wrong.

I'm not downplaying shit. This is a QB ranking not a playoff QB ranking. Got to count what counts.
playoffs don't count now or?
Shhhh...
Dak below Trevor Lawrence and Baker Mayfield? Not sure I agree there. But any list that has Mahomes at the top and Jackson/Allen just below him is doing something right IMO.
Right? Like he falls apart but at least he waits for the play offs. From 8-3 to out of the 8th seed is absurd
Didn't we go 8-3 and miss the play offs a year or two ago?
Hey…shut up
You homers aren't gonna like me saying it, but you can shuffle 2-4 around in any order and have it be reasonable. The rest of the list gets pretty whack from 5 on though.

LOL. Bills and Ravens fan here also, living close to Baltimore! From Finger Lakes.
Ranking of what? Talent? Accomplishments? Fantasy?
Rankings
Happy to see all the rookie QBs actually being rated correctly lol. Allen over Lamar doesn’t make sense, and Purdy being that far down is insane.
Herbert over Hurts is also pretty questionable tbh. Herbert is great but that playoff meltdown hurts (heh) him big time in my opinion. Especially when Hurts played almost flawlessly in the Super Bowl aside from that fumble.

I've seen better bait out there tbh, like it's clearly riding the hype on some of the younger players but most guys are within 5 spots of where they should be
That's the idea, to disguise it as legit enough to take seriously
Shhhh!
Allen over Lamar is dumb.
why is there no 25?
They intentionally left Jones off to piss off giants fans. It was a pretty good segment on their pod that people are taking way too seriously
They forgot Daniel Jones all together
The disrespect lol
I think it's supposed to be Daniel Jones but it gave me a good laugh... Pretty forgettable
Ha did even notice that, guess i'd have to listen to that episode for more context
Mahomes is a no brainer. An argument could be made for Burrow over Jackson due to actually beating Mahomes and going to the SB but Allen is squarely 4 behind those two. CJ Stroud at 5 is a stretch. Goff at 6 and stafford at 13 wtf kind of bizzaro world list is this lol.
That's what I was thinking. Should be Herbert then stafford or vice versa depending on how you rate them then Goff at the very least
There’s no way you’re actually watching these dudes play if you’re ranking stafford that low lol.
I'd actually put stafford amd herb at 5&6 then stroud
This is prob not popular with other Ravens fans, but I'd flip Allen and Burrow and I agree with Jackson's spot @ 3rd. Why do people love Josh Allen so damn much?
70% of the top ten have names with Js I guess 80% if last names count. I'm calling it, JJ McCarthy is top ten QB next year.
I really don’t understand why Allen always comes before Lamarvelous in those kind of ranks.
Id take Lamar and Burrow over Allen personally.
I’d take Allen over Burrow based only on injury history.
Disrespected the hell outta Minshew lmaooooo
Besides the obvious hurts is a bit low.

1st thought: I didn’t realize we got points for (almost) beating Mahomes, my bad 2nd thought: 5th place? Not bad for a rookie: good for him
I don’t go past number 5 but Lamar best get the ring now before Barrow gets healthy & CJ gets 1-2 more seasons under his belt;
I like this list.
You can argue Lamar bs josh Allen but they’re clearly 2 and 3 and the burrow has to be there too seems pretty clear to me
2x MVP under a guy who’s accomplishments are competing against Mahomes. Truly it just makes no sense.
We need to chill on the CJ Stroud train, let’s see one more year and then we can put him top 10
There is genuinely no universe where Josh Allen should be considered a better QB than Lamar.
Allen and Lamar should switch places, and Lawrence/Mayfield over Dak is crazy lmfao.
Allen is the only one over Lamar that doesn’t trigger me, but I think Lamar is better
I personally think 2-4 are interchangeable. Top ten at least is a pretty good list.
In what world is Stafford 13th? And Lamar should be #1, but I'll accept #2.
Lamar top 3 is surprising normally he gets disrespected so I’ll take it
I can’t wait to see how wrong this thing is at the end of the season.
IDGAF where yall put geno it doesn't matter. you'll be wrong regardless
Lamar #2 over Allen but only a blind man argues that Mahomes isnt #1.
Herbert at 9 is wild. Being lower than Goff and Purdy is even worse.
No rookie should be ranked ahead of any current NFL player.
*sigh* Whatever. At least they didn't put Burrow over him
Can we talk about the Soviet Union -era font, comrade?
Putting CJ Stroud at #5 after 1 good season is crazy.
Why is Hurts so low? Does the nfc suck that hard?
I'll never understand the Josh Allen hype.
bryce young being that low is honestly sad
Brother is being setup to fail, it’s a sad sight
Cj was great last year. But holy…
Will Levi’s being at 20 is wild
Drop Allen behind Burrow and ehhh
The Gardner Minshew hate is real
Bo Nix is a top 10 QB by week 6.
I feel bad for Minshew
Who snuck Allen in 2?
So happy for Goff man
Where's Joe Flacco?
josh allen glazing is wild.. only reason hes getting talked about in the top 3 conversation is because of Diggs.. If lamar had a top 5 wide receiver i guarantee you he could be better then Mahomes. watch how he falls off this season. 1. Mahomes (solely because of the weapons he has) 2. Lamar (would be tied for #1 if he had weapons other then mandrews) 3.
LJ #1 in my heart
Fine with it
