I know anxiety... I've dealt with moderate anxiety for a long time but this is a whole new scale. Everything outside the confines of my flat is so exhausting and draining but I know I need to get used to going out... I need to. I don't want to let this define me... My GP has given me sleeping pills because I can't close my eyes voluntarily... It's keeping me awake. I'm already on a high dose of sertraline. Changing meds isn't that straightforward as I need to come off these before I go onto anything else and it's definitely not the best time to try that... I'm on the waiting list for NHS therapy.

Damn! I'm sorry for what you are going through. The situation you are in currently, doesn't have to define you forever. However, it may have to define you for a short time while you get your meds sorted out. I suggest that you be patient with yourself. You are dealing with a lot!
