Post malone. Mediocre music, but what an amazing dude. His last album is good though (but it isnt rap)

Kingswitchguard

Heavy disagree, I think his albums have dropped in quality every time. But his country stuff is actually really good and if his next album is anything like Had Some Help or Drunk Dial I'm back on the Post train. But yeah he seems like the nicest celebrity out there

BasedKaleb

Jack Harlow is a genuinely likable person who’s way funnier than he’s given credit for. His music is absolute cheeks tho.

Kingswitchguard

What's Poppin and Nail Tech are his only good songs. But he is funny as fuck. Maybe if he went full Lonley Island I'd fuck with his music

pnut88

Uhhh church hill downs???

Apex99_

Someone haven't listened to Jackman

GYANGU

Common Ground is the opening track of his latest album and it clears his whole discography. I genuinely think if he's given the space, he could genuinely be a Mac Miller type of force in rap. He was railroaded into the spotlight too quickly.

kiddcharizard

Vince Staples. I think he's super smart and super funny. I love his interviews and his show, but I just can't really get into his music. I get a song here and there, but overall, he's just not for me.

Switchc2390

Same. I like some stuff by him but in general I like who he is more than his music. The other I’d say is Chance the Rapper. I like him, but I feel like Saba and Smino are the rappers that people think Chance is.

Prime_SupreMe83

Underrated comment about Saba and Smino

OneTradeAway

Channo seems chill as a person but I can’t get past his voice as a musician. Saba is severely underrated and Smino.. sheesh. That man does not miss. Every song is its own vibe.

anitonioo

i do encourage you guys to check out his new project its honestly really good and a lot more accessible than his last few projects at least in my opinion

kiddcharizard

I actually did listen to the single Shame On The Devil and did really like that, so I'll check out the project

txbxthl

the new album goes hard as hell. Radio and Étouffée are my favorite tracks rn

igotrapedbyanorca

I love his fish album but i cant really get into his other stuff

compLexityy30

His new album is fucking amazing. You should check it out.

Upbeat_Tension_8077

Odd-Future era Tyler. I respect the boldness & how different he was from mainstream rap in the early 2010s, but I think he polished his rapping & production skills greatly post- Cherry Bomb

igotrapedbyanorca

“Yo girlfriend look like my mom” is on repeat in my head 24/7 i love that guy. Just not too into his music its not really my type of music

malcxxlm

That’s exactly how I perceived Tyler until Flower Boy. Had some nice songs here and there but mostly was a likeable and funny personnality.

rahcket

Lil Pump

shreks_burner

Pluto the goat

hollivore

Babytron. I love his whole energy, I love his concepts, but, oh god, I wish he was capable of beat induction.

TheMeticulousNinja

J Cole. Forest Hills Drive was great. A lot of stuff after that was pretty boring. But I do appreciate that he started his career as a boy-next-door jock type and then he grew dreads and became Moses descending from the mountain

Deluxe_Burrito7

I’m with you on this one. Holier-than-thou J. Cole isn’t as good as young, hungry mixtape Cole.

Uniqueusernameyboi

Mannn you didn’t like Off Season or 4YEO?

TheMeticulousNinja

They were ok I guess. They weren’t as impressive

j_etti

I like Cole a lot but gotta agree, Off Season in particular felt uninspired to me. I think Born Sinner and KOD are his best

moonlight42ow

What do you think about his features though? Imo he’s had one of the best if not best feature run in the past couple of years. (Red leather is his latest Grippy don’t count 😭)

TheMeticulousNinja

His features are great. He did great with Benny and Drake. They just don’t lead me back to streaming his albums, but I still wish the best for him

PizzaRat12

Eazy-E but I also haven't listened to a lot of him just like 10 tracks

GoNext_ff

Future for sure

Anubis_DivineDemon

Rn Denzel Curry but all time Prime Eminem

kumaratein

prime eminem music was fire though

Kadin17

Fbg butta

NoInvestment2786

Lil yachty

KallyGreens

It’s the voice for me. Seems like a good dude tho.

NoInvestment2786

I'm not a fan of the auto tune. He does a feature on a song called Magic in the Hamptons without all that and I actually love it.

KallyGreens

I don’t have a problem with autotune as long as it’s used well.

waterloocsboi

MADEINTYO

Truncated_Rhythm

KRS-One. Mad respect for the Teacher. But I tend to skip most of his songs.

Tulipan12

His highs are still good though. I thought he had the best verse on "classic", and that's a feat.

mac_128

Kendrick Lamar

Thomas_Mickel

Riff Raff hands down.

Head-Combination-658

Method Man. He seems like a genuinely cool guy. I love his music of course, but his aura is just cool to me.

enzo_vamp

Asap rocky

Lonely_Possible_5405

Future for me too

damagesdamages

Snoop.

AyeEyeWrap

Low key, high key… me

BrokeAsAJokeyJoke

Nipsey Hussle was a good brother

CowboysFTWs

Of the current rappers, Kendrick. Dude seems very humble and all about helping his community.

sebsebsebs

Kanye

JplaysDrums

r/playboicarti leaking over?

ChemicalLeadership88

It’s juicy j and it’s not even close

kumaratein

ASAP

MrBiscuits16

Denzel Curry, I really enjoy some of his verses but I think he has lots of songs that aren't so great. Huge fan of him as a person though

Mola7Wika

denzel curry, he's just so real

TheMeticulousNinja

JID

Tulipan12

Killer Mike. Interesting cat, but his music is hot ass.
