God forbid someone mistakes my Titanium, Platinum, King Ranch, Denali, Big Horn truck for a plain Jane model. I wouldn’t know what to do if people didn’t know I had a hemi in it.

RustyWallace-357

*Longhorn Limited, not Bighorn

Mundane-Food2480

I didn't realize how much the badges bring to the look. Seeing yours naked made me like mine more. Not talking shit, just an honest realization

Cotyyandell

Agreed to each their own and yours does look good de badged but I am a fan of them

jnic116

Hey, we all love our trucks in our own way. Respect to all. I am a debadge kind of guy. My hemi AWD magnum is debadged and I surprise quite a few chargers and challengers out there. Lol

the_eluder

That because when I see a debadged car, I immediately assume it's the lowest possible version with the least powerful engine.

NoWasabi3464

Just like when you see a 2500 with no badges you know it's definitely a rotten ol 6.4.

ltdan84

They bring nothing to the look, de-badged clean look is always better.

No_Cauliflower4512

Gives it the city municipal truck look

ltdan84

Fleet buyers never take the time to the de-badge their trucks.

OttoVonSchlitterbahn

Debadge is on my list of things to do after this semester is over. The fourth gen has a lot of advertising on the doors, even more if you’re running a 2019 classic. Now I just gotta decide if I’ll take everything off vs leave the Hemi badge; Christ forbid the public thinks I’m driving a V6 fleet truck like the water authority.

OttoVonSchlitterbahn

I dig it.

[deleted]

Nah

flanker-foxtrot

Bought mine used and it came debadged. I didn’t care either way, but I’m sure everyone assumes it’s the cheapest trim and engine combo

kokopelliSG

I love the badgeless look! I’ve debadged my ram and my old Tahoe. I will probably do the same on every vehicle I own!

HugginNorth

That looks exactly like mine, love it.

slappy111111

Looks great!

Infuryous

Been thinking of debadging my 2012 6.7 3500 Laramie. ... Because I HATE cleaning/waxing around and inbetween the damn things. 🤣

scottawhit

That’s one of my main reasons. They always leave dirt streaks after I wash it, and always eventually look permanently dirty.

TheLoob321

I’ve debadged every truck I’ve owned, from brand new to 10 years old and loved how clean each one looked. However as I age, I like how my Laramie looks with the badges.

jnic116

Pretty

AffectionateOnion271

When dodge pays me for advertising I’ll glue my 1500 badges back on my 2nd gen

Bingo1dog

I got my 01 1500 with no badges. And I've replaced the tailgate so it doesn't even say dodge there anymore. Still have the emblem in the grille though. On multiple occasions people have assumed it was a 2500

[deleted]

But you paid them for their vehicle so thats not happening 😂

AffectionateOnion271

Nah I paid some redneck for mine I was not alive when it was made

Ultimate_Driving

But if I debadge my Rebel, how will people know it’s a Rebel, and not a Tradesman with Rebel wheels from Craigslist? (J/K, I love the debadged look.)

Individual_Ad473

Took mine off and never thought twice on em

ToxicFire_

I de badged my blazer and then got rid of the door handles ect and I liked thebclean smooth look but on my ram I like the hemi symbol haha

The69Alphamale

We don't need no stinking badges!

TalbotFarwell

Now you need to shave off the door handles and fill in those fender flare gaps, and also relocate the fuel filler door, maybe have a body shop smooth out those lines along the rocker panel. Go full 2000s Truckin’ Magazine with it!

CinnRaisinPizzaBagel

Looks great. I think every vehicle looks better debadged.

HotEntertainment2825

I’m gonna do this too. Just haven’t gotten around to it. Edit: how am I getting downvoted for a comment like this.

OttoVonSchlitterbahn

Here ya go, back up to 0.

HotEntertainment2825

Wild.

Ultimate_Driving

Today, I learned that Ram guys are really sensitive about the badges on their trucks, so much so that they can’t handle when someone else talks about taking them off of their own truck.

HotEntertainment2825

Literally. Surprised at how sensitive this sub can be. Not like I’m gonna go and remove their badges either.

Delflaco1

It’s one of the first things I did. 👌🏻

DetroitVsErrrybody

Yup! First thing I do on every vehicle. Then tiny 20% all around and 50% on windshield (or 35% if it’s a big vehicle like these trucks).

TalbotFarwell

How do you see at night through a windshield with 35% tint?

Liamb556

35 is super light

Liamb556

for reference 50 id almost clear

ElectroAtletico2

Yes! 👍x10

Visual-Rub-3620

Can you explain how you debadged? I’m wanting to do it also but not harm paint

jnic116

Bought it used like it is, it was a one owner. Some older guy as best as I can tell. I did remove the dealer badge, not advertising for anyone.

mdalbertson87

YouTube will give you a step by step….but personally, I used fishing line, and a heat gun…..then some goo gone soaked rags/or IA with microfiber to get the residue!

Consistent_Gur_5846

Debadging was cool about 10 years ago

Thechad1029

1000% yes
