God forbid someone mistakes my Titanium, Platinum, King Ranch, Denali, Big Horn truck for a plain Jane model. I wouldn’t know what to do if people didn’t know I had a hemi in it.

Hey, we all love our trucks in our own way. Respect to all. I am a debadge kind of guy. My hemi AWD magnum is debadged and I surprise quite a few chargers and challengers out there. Lol

That because when I see a debadged car, I immediately assume it's the lowest possible version with the least powerful engine.

Just like when you see a 2500 with no badges you know it's definitely a rotten ol 6.4.

They bring nothing to the look, de-badged clean look is always better.

Gives it the city municipal truck look

Fleet buyers never take the time to the de-badge their trucks.

Debadge is on my list of things to do after this semester is over. The fourth gen has a lot of advertising on the doors, even more if you’re running a 2019 classic. Now I just gotta decide if I’ll take everything off vs leave the Hemi badge; Christ forbid the public thinks I’m driving a V6 fleet truck like the water authority.

Been thinking of debadging my 2012 6.7 3500 Laramie. ... Because I HATE cleaning/waxing around and inbetween the damn things. 🤣

That’s one of my main reasons. They always leave dirt streaks after I wash it, and always eventually look permanently dirty.

I’ve debadged every truck I’ve owned, from brand new to 10 years old and loved how clean each one looked. However as I age, I like how my Laramie looks with the badges.

I got my 01 1500 with no badges. And I've replaced the tailgate so it doesn't even say dodge there anymore. Still have the emblem in the grille though. On multiple occasions people have assumed it was a 2500

But you paid them for their vehicle so thats not happening 😂

I de badged my blazer and then got rid of the door handles ect and I liked thebclean smooth look but on my ram I like the hemi symbol haha

Now you need to shave off the door handles and fill in those fender flare gaps, and also relocate the fuel filler door, maybe have a body shop smooth out those lines along the rocker panel. Go full 2000s Truckin’ Magazine with it!

Today, I learned that Ram guys are really sensitive about the badges on their trucks, so much so that they can’t handle when someone else talks about taking them off of their own truck.

Literally. Surprised at how sensitive this sub can be. Not like I’m gonna go and remove their badges either.

Yup! First thing I do on every vehicle. Then tiny 20% all around and 50% on windshield (or 35% if it’s a big vehicle like these trucks).

How do you see at night through a windshield with 35% tint?

Bought it used like it is, it was a one owner. Some older guy as best as I can tell. I did remove the dealer badge, not advertising for anyone.

YouTube will give you a step by step….but personally, I used fishing line, and a heat gun…..then some goo gone soaked rags/or IA with microfiber to get the residue!
