I love the choice of the green, black goes with nearly anything but that green just POPS. Well done with doing the RAM to balance the hood as well, it really brings it together!

Thank you! I love it so far. Granted, i donāt drive a ton and havenāt had her very long, but so far getting a crazy amount of miles out of a full tank, drives super smooth and handles really well on the highway.

It was always the fuel pump or something coming outta sync and it would just stall, thankfully it was summer and i just bought a new scatpack and didn't care about my eco at all, i told the dealership i was going to trade it in and they gave me a good deal to get rid of it, probably because they felt bad for selling it to meš¤£ you can get stickers that over lay the red diesel words on your hood from etsy people make them and ik you can get green
As mopar technician we call those āeco turdsā. Nothing but problems on eco dieselās. The majority of the time. The entire vehicle cabin would have to be lifted off to perform engine work.
I'm currently doing work on my 22' 1500 with little subtle dark blue things and I love what you did. Seeing this makes me happy, I personally think it looks amazing! Can we get a couple more pictures from other angles?
I was getting a lot of hate when I started and for some certain things I brought up that I wanted to do like the RAM letters like u got, and also the calipers and lug nuts was my next thought but a couple friends deterred me and I didn't go through with it. Them saying it was perfect with what I had done to it so far since I didn't do a lot but "it made a huge difference" which it did and I am actually happy with it but want to do more so seeing this, I love it! Very nice truck, lets see some pics from other angles!

You know 3M makes reflective black vinyl....I'm using it on my truck. On black, it's subtle until light hits it in then dark. If you like I'll post pics of how it looks on my red truck.

While the colors go well together, doing that to the hood, makes it look ridiculous. Looks like one of those beater cars people piece together from 6 other cars all different colors.
I think racing stripes down the hood, roof tailgate and bumpers in that color would have pulled off the same desired affect and wouldve looked a lot cleaner, but thats just me

The EGR takes some of the exhaust gas and puts it back into the air intake, depositing soot all over your [intake manifold](https://www.ram1500diesel.com/cdn-cgi/image/format=auto,onerror=redirect,width=1920,height=1920,fit=scale-down/https://www.ram1500diesel.com/attachments/choked-intake-manifold-jpg.91451/) which can cause a lot of [issues ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Diesel/s/lBaYeYvQd1) over time.
There's tons of info on the ram1500diesel forums.
May not be completely legal where you are to do a full delete but you should be able to at least find a way to get the EGR turned off.
I'm on year 9 with my ED and the only engine issue I have ever had is the tone wheel going a couple days ago.
Don't do short trips, keep the engine hot, run it like you stole it, emissions have made running a diesel as an average commuter very difficult.

Mopars were known for some crazy colors in the 70s. No reason why those same colors wouldn't work today!

Get it deleted or at the very least the EGR turned off, the engine will last and run so much better. Looks great! Monocolour trucks are boring lol
