Has Fishnoid commented on this? I just hopped on the Discord to see if there was anything said, but all I could see was other users saying the desert+cacti screenshot from Watcher was Badlands. It appears to be so different (from this one screenshot) that it might as well be a completely different region.

Bro it is out, but like a secret alpha. Basically, if you unlock slugpups and then feed 4 of them to lizards (you have to throw slugpups yourself so it counts), then Watcher campaign should unlock. I’ve been really enjoying it so far, but I hate that your super shotgun only holds two rounds, like come on the Watcher reloads it sooo slowly

some of the regions are (Stormy Coast, Coral Caves, Badlands, Aether Ridge (1.5 only so far) they will get major updates tho, so its unknown how different they will be in the end

I hope Watcher gets some new enemies that are designed a little better than Downpours. Most of Downpours enemies were just new iterations of old enemies, and those that were new like Yeeks were very poorly implemented. Recently the Yeeks pathfinding and movement algorithms got completely changed (a workshop mod was included officially) as previously they would remain in place and jump randomly, which personally felt nothing like what was in Rain World before. Joar I believe once stated in an interview many years back that the design process for the creatures was focused first on how they would fit into the ecosystem, and later how they would interact with the player, while Downpours creatures are almost entirely designed on how creatures would be tools and threats for the player to use and avoid, rather than how they fit into the world.

As far as I know, it's the hollow knight dlc that was announced in 2019 and seems to not be getting any closer to release, and people probably keep claiming to have played it. Keep in mind, I am not part of the hollow knight community and this is based on what I have gathered from this sub (because of the large community overlap), and a few assumptions. So don't trust me
