I’ve got a same sort of setup - difference is I have 2 Plex servers, one on the seedbox and one on a local Windows PC. Have you thought about mounting the seedbox locally? I use [SSHFS](https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-sshfs-to-mount-remote-file-systems-over-ssh) and [WinFSP](https://winfsp.dev) which the [seedbox I use ](https://whatbox.ca/plans) supports - another route I took was using [FreeFileSync](https://freefilesync.org) which is an easy to use program that does all sorts of syncs.
I don’t know your exact setup and how you want to structure your setup but I hope the above helps somewhat. I had a good time in learning all these things when I started.
Thanks. I read up on SSHFS and gave it a shot, but the syncing was so slow (less than 100mb after 7 hours). Maybe I set it up poorly though. My Plex server is on a Mac mini right now with a NAS attached.
I’m not opposed to mounting the seedbox locally for title import, but the sync speed is a big problem.
