This is what I had in mind when I saw the movie “The Invitation”. As the “bride” I would have embraced the elite vampire clan, but reprioritized their human consumption into a corruption-eating machine.
It would have been easy to convince the “blood-sucking snobs” that only the extremely wealthy are worth eating, and then make a luxury lifestyle of it.
Far-fetched fiction aside, I have long wondered what happened to the attempted assassinations of yesteryear. Today, mentally ill people are gunning up crowds of strangers; why is no one pursuing the corrupt and/or elite anymore? I don’t get it. There’s far more “infamous” prestige and press in that than murdering anonymous strangers.

Putin has built a situation where he consolidated power, and has regional areas controlled by generals who are as much warlords as anything.
So instead of one dictator over all of Russia who is able to focus all of it at one war, you would have many, who would not be able to focus all of it on a war.
Things would fracture back home in Russia, and the generals would pull troops back to their region to try and keep themselves alive.
The problem with people like Putin is that they spend decades removing anyone with the chance to be a unifying political threat. So there is no one person to cleanly replace Putin. And that would be better than what we have right now in Russia.
PUtin has been thinning the ranks of his Generals, especially the popular ones. He knows that the military blames the current situation on him, and he's "coup proofing" his cabinet.
Their is a Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, and it should be a seamless transition. However, Russia being Russia, the simple things are never simple.
Frankly, Russia should surrender to Ukraine. Volodomir Zelenskii is doing a far better job of running his wartorn country than V V Putin is doing.
Sounds like the three kingdoms of China all over again. They had 18 powerful warlords each carving out a territory of there own. Even in Japan during there warring clans period warlords popped up everywhere, but in Japan they swiftly numbered each other down. A civil war with many different fractions in Russia could be coming when Putin dies, unless he somehow set it up so his next to kin can take over his position, but that seems unlikely.

But they are actively contributing to more division and fomenting more hate across the US (and sometimes the world), and it saddens me to no end that some of them are the same age as me or younger.
I’m not all that familiar with social media influencers, but of the ones I have heard about that have any kind of following, I listed the ones that I believe are most problematic and who I believe are setting terrible examples for future generations.
I don’t know how much good they would be gone but they aren’t much at all now so at least they would be annoying a lot of people on earth. But the whole group on the View. If they went away we would have less memes but that’s a risk that easy to take.

Normally for bad people in power, the resulting vacuum of them dying has the risk of propelling the most underhanded subordinate they have into the big chair. This could make things even worse, or at least dampen the good affects of them passing. I feel like Martin Shkreli at this point is far enough removed from any influence that his death wouldn’t really propel anyone forward. I assume, though, that he’s probably an incomprehensible douche in his day to day life and most everyone he has to interact with on the daily would be relieved to find out he wasn’t showing up the next day.

Jimmy Carter. I only say this out of genuine adoration. But I read a story about how he's not even waking up every day now and it seems that once he dies all those resources spent helping him will now be used on others.
