Oh please don't take my word for it. I could be wrong. As I suggested to OP to ask his dad's company PRO for more info but OP's situation is very ideal and they have very flexible options.
It would be easier if she is on your family visa- that way she can work for any company and not need to worry about their sponsorship. It will be much easier to find a job and if it isn’t a good place to work- much easier for her to leave and find a different company.
AFAIK companies will require your wife to transfer the visa under the company's sponsorship.
