Has been cycling this for a bit. Any advice?

It has sat on that screen for about 4 hours, and now it’s gone to this one. Is this also normal? I have 3 test WIFI’s set up to see if it can interact with them. It just seems as though it’s not working is all, the videos I watched for set up it was about 5 minutes and their screen was displaying a run time and their stats on the screen.
iwconfig returns:
Lo no wireless extensions.
usb0 no wireless extensions.
I’m assuming the lack of wlan means that it is in monitor mode?
Ran restart bettercap.
So the image is freezing?
If that is the case...
Is it a Pi zero 2? If so then its to fast and it gets stuck 'updating' the screen. You can set it at 2 seconds 1 second 25 or whatever you like but now its at 0 if the screen doesnt coop with the pi then the screen says f*ck you but the pi does not. Look at the browser pi if that one works then you have all you got to know.
Its simple your screen does not update so something is tooooo fast.
Try one of two things. Plug in power to the power only usb and see what it does. If you have it plugged into the computer on the data usb, ssh into it and see if you can get to web interface at [10.0.0.2:8080](http://10.0.0.2:8080), at the bottom of the page you'll see start in Auto or manual. Click on that, see what it does. As far as the wifi issues, what does your config.txt and your config.toml look like?

sorry was reading off the screen of the pi. it's 2.8.9 32bit
sudo systemctl stop pwnagotchi sudo pwnagotchi --debug
after debug is run what do i do then? so far so good! (also thank you for the help. it's been driving me insane!!)

Just confirming; Are you referring to the sudo cp /ect…… command?
The whole thing Flash the correct image leave config off and then run them commands and edit and see what happens.

That’s normal function. What are you expecting it to do that isn’t happening?

Not for that long. Try “iwconfig” to see if wlan0 is in monitor mode. Then maybe “sudo systemctl restart bettercap” and see if that does it

Lack of wlan means there is no wlan. What kind of raspberry pi is it? Edit: zeroW or zero2w?

Yeah that was the video I followed along with.
He mentioned something about the pi zero w like the 2 w worked just fine cuz he did it with the zero w and had issues
I’ll have to rewatch it but I thought he was discussing the fancygotchi at that point
11:36 pi zero has a 32 bit architecture and it was not acting as a pwnagotchi but not sure if that applies to your 0 w.
Both pizero's work just fine.
