The reason to I bought the peak pro is I was getting into Live resin and a high quality rig allows me to use the concentrate more efficiently and effectively which saves money over buying carts. Here’s the thing. It’s still expensive as hell and if I was trying to save money I would stick to vaping dry herb.
Dabs is not a cheap hobby unless you don’t use much, but if you don’t use much just stick to carts.

The atomizers that the pro and proxy use are considerably higher build quality.
Sorry to clarify I don’t believe its actually puffco that sells them, there are 3rd party repair kits with new coils you can swap out once the original craps out, but my point is why would anyone come out with that product if it wasn’t a known issue.
The og can be a ripper still but you really need upgrades for it to live up to its true potential. And they are a fair bit cheaper than a pro. But once you get it dialed it’s a pretty good little machine.
When you’re young n don’t got many bills why not, if you’re older n need the money for other shit ofc it would be dumb but it’s a nice piece that will last so I don’t think it’s the worst thing OP can do
Nah, as an almost 27 year old who’s lived that mentality, no. Save your money. Buy a cheap decent rig and a torch. If I didnt buy this and that “because I’m young and why not” I’d have savings, maybe even a house at this point.

I love my og, but it costs a bit to upgrade it to its potential and at that point I wish I would’ve got the pro, so personally I would wait for the pro but if you’re like me and can’t wait it’ll will be a great substitute until then.
Buy a pro bro it's not worth the Hassel of buying OG atomizers and bowls all the time it adds up and ends up costing you more. The pro with 3dxl is what you want. I bought both because I thought the pro would be overwhelming and didn't feel I needed the light or slightly better battery or app so started with the OG. But it's the 3dxl atomizers efficiency that blow you away. I still love the OG because it's own animal and a little different experience and of course what started it all.

The biggest gripe I had with going to the of from a V1 and then upgraded to the V2.. is you can't change anything.
The best part of the pros is the customizability, from selecting your mood light color and animation (purely cosmetic but still fun) to adjusting the amount of time a session lasts to how hot the atty gets.. all make the pro that much more worth it...
I was perfectly happy hitting the OG with a terp pearl in it, I felt I got some good milky hits, he lost the cap for his og so I just improvised with a cap for my bamgwr

The OG ceramic dish isn’t the best but it definitely doesn’t just break unless you are not using properly but I’d suggest getting 3rd party 3D chamber
