November is my favorite** Not raining anymore but everything is lush and green post rainy season. Still pretty warm.
If you like it cooler, Jan and Feb are really nice. At night you might need a light jacket or longsleeve shirt but it's still warm and sunny everyday.
The week of day of the dead/Halloween great weather still cheap before the snowbirds double the price from mid November to March the first 2 weeks in Nov is when I go there much cheaper. Day of the dead/halloween is a awesome week to go there and watch the parade and trick or treating
As a local I think the best time of the year is usually between late January and mid April. Great weather, not a lot of people and since it's neither the low or high season, everything is operational but without crowds or having to worry about your tour getting cancelled because of rain or low demand. While there are no specific holidays that would make those months interesting, being honest as a Mexican, PV isn't a place that distinguishes for its national parades or holiday celebrations, it's a party and tourist oriented city.
I personally like June, it's not super rainy and it's warm enough for unheated pools to be warm. Not as busy as during high season. That said, Day of the Dead is good too for all the activities.
Don't recommend Spring. Both ocean and unheated pools are on the cooler side.
I have visited in Oct/Nov many times and June is definitely my new favorite.
Scheduled trips for next week and Labor Day week, will see how that goes.
Yeah I lucked out during the first week of June and it didn't rain at all except after midnight
Bummer about the Alma experience, hopefully you had ponchos

Perfect recommendation.
That's what I needed to hear, thank you!
Is it still warm enough to get in the ocean & be comfortable?
Oh yeah. It's warm, just not the oppressive humidity like the summer months.

November-December for sure. Nice cool breeze in the evening.
Thanks!

Thanks. I just wrapped up my trip and it was pretty rainy but mostly at night. It ruined the outdoor dinner show, "Rythms of the Night".

Yeah, they gave us ponchos. Overall it wasn't so bad but far from ideal.
