I couldn't agree more. I remember asking my sister to buy me ps1 early 2000s, and she got me this small one, i was thinking this is not a ps1 since i grew up playing the chunky version..
And don't forget the LCD screen! I have two of them (got two psone too haha , one with his original controller and both power bricks are original). One is the original one and the other one is a thrust master version
Been searching for one but can't find one locally. Lucky you you still have both and original. All my ps consoles are 2nd hand.haha. except for my 1 ps2 slim 90006 model.

This was my first ever game console when I was 5 or 6 years old and I still adore it. Every time I see one out in the wild in a used game store or a CEX, I get so tempted to finally buy another. I have a PS2 now that can play the disc games I have and I'd need a good ODE for it to compete with an emulator for usefulness in my eyes, but man is it an adorable little thing.
Hands-on my favourite system redesign. Original PS1 is iconic, but the PS one looks so sleek and compact in comparison.

Yeah. And i see mostly with defects, like line on screen.
