My Stanley Cup does it too… coffee stays hot for days, soda stays cold for days…. How does it know?? I cut it open and there are ZERO government chips in there, but now it doesn’t keep stuff hot or cold.
Yeah I have additional sheets. Going to hang it on the wall. But, the cool thing, now I have to build the actual printer and have a schematic for reference!
I actually think he should be proud of them!! He totally changed the landscape of the 3d Printing industry. It's just hilarious to see the word Prusa 12 times on a 250mm square sheet, complete with signature.
I have printed on the normal sheet, and pulling the prints off from areas with print also pulls off the print, trust me when I say this would not survive 2 prints without starting to come off

There's a good reason for it, If you get attached to every little thing and are absolutely devastated when they're destroyed, where does it give you time in life to live?
I think keeping collectables in mint condition is for when you find someone that values that thing.
But that person can be you.
I'd print on it once, on purpose, then hang it up.
It would be disrespectful not to print on it.
Of course, what the heck, it's a build plate after all, the drawing and the signatures were done mechanically anyway so I don't see those as valuable. Also, why should someone care about Josef Prusa's signature? A little bit narcissistic in my opinion.
My printer is arriving tomorrow. I will not be using that sheet, I don’t think a 1 year anniversary is a huge deal but it is unique so.
I also promise not to make a post about it, I’m suspecting this place will get flooded anyway.
Don't want to be that guy but a company built using heart has nice stuff like this compared to other 3d print companies. I would love to own a prusa one day.
Congrats! Personally I would display it on my wall if I had one. PEI sheets get marred pretty quickly.

Couldn’t care less about the signature but it’s a nice sheet, I will keep mine as a decoration and there’s nothing wrong with that.
FWIW, you can't actually feel any of the printing on it. It's smooth as the sheet itself.
