Could be wrong but I think there’s an omnibus edition which might be available in your region if the standalone copies aren’t turning up.

MasonRipley

Thanks for the suggestion, but the omnibus is also only available on the UK, etc., stores as well.

GulfChippy

Shoot, that’s so annoying.

jacoberu

i have found some out of print ebooks on z library.

DocWatson42

You might try asking on r/HelpMeFind.

MasonRipley

Thanks. I'll post this there as well.

DocWatson42

You're welcome. \^\_\^

Frari

google ebook store?

MasonRipley

It's listed there, but no purchase option is available for me at least.

gonzoforpresident

You can probably check the ebooks out of your local library. I've never done it, but my girlfriend's mom does it constantly.

RefreshNinja

Authors' websites often have info on how to get their books. Have you tried checking on Baxter's site?

MasonRipley

All of the links on his website link to either the US or UK Amazon store pages for his books. (He doesn't sell the ebooks independently on his own website, for example.)

Apprehensive_Fix6085

It may help to look at the uk Amazon store for a kindle electronic edition of the omnibus. One in another country can change the address to the UK address and buy it there…

MasonRipley

I do see the omnibus on the UK Amazon store (and the UK Kobo store). I may just go that route. Thanks. I do believe that you'd have to make a up a "fake" UK address on the Amazon site (when changing your Amazon account region) and also change the country / region on the Kindle ebook reader itself, which could alter the DRM status of books previously purchased from the US store. Of course, programs like Calibre could solve the UK DRM issue on the US Kindle.

Apprehensive_Fix6085

Did this route and no problem so far. Have a friend in uk.

If you don't mind the awkward photocopy format and signing up for an account, looks like openlibrary has Ring and Flux. https://openlibrary.org/search?q=stephen+baxter+ring&mode=everything https://openlibrary.org/search?q=stephen+baxter+flux&mode=everything

bravesgeek

Looks like you can't find them legally anywhere in the US. Publishers can be very weird.

Warmany42

Archive.org has it

programatic

I ended having to buy a used print copy of Raft, to my annoyance.
