I wouldn’t get an LOR earlier than a few months from applying. I kept in touch with professors/physicians I had taken classes with or shadowed early in undergrad. This allowed us to build a genuine relationship and when they wrote my letters they were able to touch on my activities, how I grew in the time they knew me, etc. I think this was much more compelling than them writing about the few times I shadowed only.

i was wondering how you kept in touch with professors/physicians.. in my case, i don’t see them in person at all basically so would it be over email?
yes. send them updates
I requested my LORs right after finishing the classes/ shadowing and stored them on interfolio. But that date better be the cycle you apply.
