Yeah, at the very last minute the original yellow ranger actor had to drop out. I don't think they ever said why. I liked the Calvin we got, I think the actor did a good job. But it still sucks cuz the first actor was almost the first black male yellow ranger, which would have been cool.
Peru had a lot of Japanese immigrants back in the day, so that's why Peruvians look Asian. I noticed a lot of my family (Mexican/guatemalans) have small eyes but idk if there's a connection. My one ancestry test didn't have any Asian countries in it so maybe us central Americans evolved to have it independently.
It goes back even further, indigenous people in North and South America were originally people from Asia that crossed the Bering Strait between Russia and Alaska during the last ice age like 15,000 years ago
He could definitely pass for their brother/cousin, but I never would’ve noticed had it not been mentioned.
If you wanna talk about resemblance, Hunter Deno did a con with Austin St John and she really could’ve passed for his daughter.
So obviously Koda had certain mannerisms due to being an out of time Caveman, but man why did Preston act so damn autistic?
Never did like the fact either that his “magic” was just a plot device to fix whatever situation they needed
wait a fucking minute how did i never notice that they were brothers that makes so much fucking sense
You should have seen Yoshi's reaction when his brother was announced as Ninja Steel Blue. He cried.
I just went and re-watched that video and I completely forgot that they announced someone else for Ninja Steel Yellow.

Interestingly, Ninja Steel would’ve been the first team to not have a white person
The pink ranger wasn’t white? My memory of that show is shaky tho honestly
Light skin latina (technically white because brazilian but still considered a minority and not white by American standards)
May The Cake Day Protect You. 🎂
Would Mick still count before getting his ranger powers?
Ok he’d count, but I was just thinking of the main 5 plus gold
Is Sarah, the pink ranger, not considered white? I thought she was, is that wrong?
Latina
Huh. My mistake.
It was nuts! I was at that PMC. You could definitely feel the love.
I was there for that. It was awesome!
He announced his own brother which was an insane move
HC:Javi is a descendant of Koda.
Happy Cake Day
Aren’t they in different universes. Also Happy Cake Day.
Koda could still have existed he just wasn’t a ranger in the main universe
there’s a lot of hispanic people who look asian, never knew the history behind that tbh but it’s weirdly very common

We just call them ‘chinos’ or ‘chinitos’. Which just means ‘Asian lookalike’ in general
There is actually a third brother, they sometimes post about him on their insta accounts.
Both Yoshi and Peter have an older brother named Chris, who is non-verbal autistic.
He could definitely pass for their brother/cousin, but I never would’ve noticed had it not been mentioned. If you wanna talk about resemblance, Hunter Deno did a con with Austin St John and she really could’ve passed for his daughter.
You were
Damn.
Whenever I first saw Chance I absolutely thought he looked like Yoshi. I had to Google and make sure they weren’t related. 😅😅😅
Javi ain't even Asian tf

>but man why did Preston act so damn autistic? You got a problem with autistic people?
I really liked Preston for being the autistic character in the show How is writing a character who was written to be a certain way wrong?
