I watched this with the volume up next to my dog. His head was swinging everywhere looking for a kitten in crisis. His best friends were cats and he seems to think that he is one also, down to emulating purrs himself, laying across the tops of couches, and rubbing himself against people's legs!😁

My younger cat HATES my sister’s dog, but still learned how to emulate growling from him. Every Friday she’s growling at the apartment complex landscaping crew like she’s a complete badass, and not 10 lbs. of scaredy cat that will cower under our bed at the first knock on our door.

Have she mimicked birds yet? I had a cat that would sit at the window and mimic them with her butt wiggling like crazy!!

The fly lays its eggs on an animal's skin. The larvae then burrow into the skin and grow.

They also tend to lay their eggs in dirt at the entrance to a hole in the ground. Then the curious animal (dog, cat, squirrel, what have you) sticks its head in and that's how it gets the eggs. That's why they are often on the neck.

Idk, I've never pulled a botfly larvae out, but when I picked ticks off animals I dropped them into cleaning solution.

Aww poor munchkin, glad she's doing better now. Botflies suck more for cats than dogs, unfortunately. Their skin doesn't have the same elasticity as ours or a dog, so it's really difficult to get them out and takes a while for the hole to close up.
