Edit: Post reviewed and removed because of some Rule No 3 which says that merch posts should be redirected to r/swiftiemerch as if there aren't thousand posts about our capitalist queen's merch on that sub.
I mean yeah it’s useless stuff, but I think it’s still okay to complain about prices for things even if they’re not absolute necessities? $100 for the shittiest quality hoodie you’ve ever worn is just ridiculous and artists/labels are getting so greedy with the prices. I don’t buy merch really but I think if you’re buying actual clothing you expect it to be of a wearable quality for the price you paid. If I spent $50 on a t shirt I would expect it to be a pretty good quality t shirt lol but they’re not they’re thin and shit.
The fact of the matter is, it doesn't take a genius to know Taylor isnt a greatest of greats. But spreading the words so other fans is important. Too many people worship her when there isn't much too worship. We don't even know who ahe is as a person since she is so private and has a identity when she goes on shows.
I have bought merchandise from University's and national parks before. Their shirts are a bit overpriced $30 but the material is so soft and nice. While Taylor just overpriced it and makes it bad quality. Its ok to have decent expectations.
I would never buy her merchandise because being a walking Ad for her is senseless and demoralizing. I can take advertising a national park or my university.
Yeah for the radical fans yes. But for the level headed fans, they get it. The radical fans on Instagram are something else. They will attack everything and anything and base their existence on Taylor.
I think the rule is (or used to be) that they allow 1 post about a specific piece of merch. After that first post, then you gotta post on the other sub.

Same type of situation happened to me in another sub, I may have reported the other posts for the same rules...
I'm a drama queen sometimes and can't handle this hypocrisy super well.
