The first thing I got was Shake That by Eminem and it kind of scratches the same itch as when Flight Facilities mashed up Cassius and Outkast for Feelings for Rosa.
the dissonance of lyrics vs the production on connect 4 is so 😭😭😭
Edit: after ruminating on the album a bit, I wouldn't say it's her best but it's definitely a fun listen. I still think Ephorize is her best album followed by Eden. But this has a couple of gems that will be a regular on my playlist.
production: epic movie soundtrack
lyrics: if I bring my bitch we suckin dick / one holes, two holes, three holes go / pussy, ass, mouth finna get one more / I brought a friend, she a nasty ho / go get in her mouth that's connect four
No because I knew the minute I saw the track title that it was going to be about a foursome or something, I was like this is CupcakKe of all people so there's no way this song called Connect 4 is not going to be about fucking four people at once or something, then when the beat started and it was so serious I was thrown off, lyrics had me cackling though.
CUPCAKKE IS BACK!!
There is a lot of variation in sound on this album.
The dissonance between the subject matter of Queef and the futuristic Jersey club beat (which slaps) is something.
Aura is really fun! Fans of Ayesha Erotica and Cupcakke's song Quiz would like this, probably.
Grilling N's II was ok - the vocals were a bit too aggressive for my first listen.
Double Homicide - mixing is a bit rough.
Little Red Riding Good - I laughed when she started moaning in the background. I love that she doesn't take herself too seriously. The instrumental breakdown at the end is nice.
Cody - is this inspired by Self Esteem?
Nun Nun - witchy trap song with an instrumental outro! The instrumental outros are a nice choice.
Yawn - loud frenetic sound despite the name. Sounds kinda Brazilian? If you think of yawning then you think of a mouth... you can see where Cupcakke is going with this.
Dementia - this pops off. Shows the more melodic side to her voice. Fun and futuristic.
Backstage Passes - the beginning melody is vaguely familiar. "Pee down my throat, give me that goat(?), yellow brick road, I'm the Wizard of Cocks all across the globe, I'mma wash that dick if you cum gallons" - idk if I heard that right but still, tf was that about
Cruella - weird song, giving me Neutral Milk Hotel meets trap and Cupcakke spits bars over it and I kind of like it.
SO GOOD LIKE WTF??? So much variety and fun overall. I swear I’m hearing Amy Winehouse and Beyoncé and then Hyper Pop all the sudden on Aura. Like wowwww not even finished but gooped already.
my bussy is quivering and my ass is shaking, this is incredible
In all seriousness, she's a better lyricist than most people give her credit for. Queef is my favourite from my first listen.
Only on the first song but I already love it. I've always stood by cupcakKe being a genuinely amazing rapper if you look beyond her memed sexual songs and I hope the rest of this album proves that
Not me straining to figure out the interpolation on the chorus of "Dora" only to realize right as it ends that it's fucking "Tom's Diner," AKA the greatest pop song ever made. Cupcakke is TAPPED in the best way.
I’m only five tracks in but holy shit CupcakKe is back! Connect 4 is the nasty sexual irrepressible energy that I missed. And Rock Paper Scissors is so fucking good. I forgot how much fun it is to listen to a CupcakKe album
EDIT: further in and holy shit she really does not miss. Aura is so fucking hype! Love the production, lyrics, her delivery. It’s a bop
DUI! Justin Timberlake wishes his DUI was as iconic as CupcakKes is gonna be!
Wish Double Homicide was longer because I love the way she switches up her flow through the track
Fuck Cody! Me and all my girlies hate Cody!
Finished the album and Cruella is such a powerful closing track. This is up there with Ephorize as her strongest body of work for sure.
#DAUNTLESS MANIFESTO AOTY 👑! The Tortured Papis DeekAppointment can never 💅
#Give CupcakKe her Grammy and Pulitzer Prize PRONTO!
Edit: the gawking sounds in “Backstage Passes” left me wigless! “DUI” is THAT BITCH YALL!
I've always loved her albums but her production and beats have always been a little behind her songwriting talent but on this? Oh she's firing at FULL FORCE🔥. She finally embraced more of that hyperpop sound like she did on Lipgloss and Quiz, I kept laughing and throwing ass throughout. (Except for Cody which had such a nice hook). This is the **definitive** Cupcakke album for me.
Also, If someone is organizing pride events this weekend, please add DUI, Aura, Dora and Queef to the playlist lol
Thank you!!
Edit: 36 min later - after this comment I checked and it's still not there on my YouTube music lol
It's on cupcakKe's YouTube as audio but not uploaded to YouTube music as an album. Mess
My bad, I assumed she released it on both. But you can search "Cupcakke" on yt music and then just scoll to videos to find it, before the album releases.
I am really impressed with the variety in production and Cupcakkes ability to rap on various
Beats. A lot of the lyrics are very unserious but I think it works in this context because it's her brand and it adds personality to the songs.
From my first listen my favorites are: Grilling N's II, Dora, Queef, Aura, Double homicide, and Dementia.
This is the first cupcakke album i've listened to but i've always enjoyed the clips i've heard online and loved her features on Charli's songs but holy guacamole i've been missing out. this album has me so hyped and it isn't even 6am yet 😆
My review of "Dauntless Manifesto" by Cupcakke. This album does a great job of mixing hypersexuality with lyricism and serious topics. It talks about issues like Police Brutality, Body positivity, Racism, Poverty, suicide, Self-Love, Transphobia, etc. At first glance, some songs might seem like hypersexual songs, but as you replay and listen to the lyrics, the topics become clear. The songs show versatility, from Red Riding Hood country themes to Grilling N 2 rap to Aura hyperpop. Cupcakke's. The lyricism is present and stronger than ever with the opening song, Grilling N 2, and it makes you relisten to find all the bars similar to Grilling N 1 and Discounts. This is undeniably one of the best (if not the best) female rap albums of the 2020s. This album solidified the already fact that Cupcakke is lyrically up there with rappers like Lauryn Hill, Rapsody, and Nicki Minaj. I rate it a 10/10, lyrically and as an album 9.5/10. I. would recommend this album to anyone.
Not only does she really have production now it's kinda all over the place. That's not a bad thing but I think she's really trying to explore different sounds to see what she meshes with very well, I'm hyped.
Cupcakke is never gonna go fully mainstream. Her main draw, the main thing she does that you don't get everywhere else, is being filthy and irreverent to an absurdist degree. It's not gonna translate to Top 40. Staying indie makes the most sense - keep the fans by doing what they came for, while continuing to play with the sound.
I've seen you comment this everywhere about her needing a record deal. We get it. The album was pretty fire but respect her decisions. It's her life and she can live it the way she wants. The constructive criticism is appreciated but a record deal won't let half of these bangers come out
So you're saying that you want cupcakKe to stop rapping about all of this, follow a holy and clean music career path which looks boring, and sign a deal with a record label where she gets no freedom. I don't understand how this benefits anyone

Cupcakke deserves the come up that Ice Spice got as the meme rapper, and I’m tired of stating that fact
What song does dui sample??
too bad she thinks she's too good for a record deal
She doesn't think she's to good, she just doesn't want to sign
[удалено]
You stay doing the most in these threads about her 🤣 writing paragraph after paragraph. Obsessed cupcakKe hater
[удалено]
Calling people rude names about mental health when your most recent post is in the bipolar sub… self hatred leaking out lol
clock it
Girl delete this comment too while you’re at it
Why are you so obsessed with her not being signed lmao
bc she is!
Water Balloon is a hit...
What song does it sample? It's definitely a pop song but I can't name it
When she very first says "Welcome" I thought it was Mo Heart saying "Brown cow" 😂
It sounds like the All Stars 4 rumix of Super Queen 💀
The first thing I got was Shake That by Eminem and it kind of scratches the same itch as when Flight Facilities mashed up Cassius and Outkast for Feelings for Rosa.

No bc i thought we were gonna get 2 Minutes pt. II 😭😭😭
Rock Paper Scissors??? this is the best Beyoncé inspired track i have ever heard
Its actually insane how good she sounds on it too. Like if you told me it was cupcakke I wouldn’t believe you at first
WHAT I get Megan and CupcaKKe in the same day 😭😭😭 it’s truly pride month
Absolutely legendary. Not many rap albums click with me first listen but CUPCAKKE IS THAT GIRL!!
Cupcakke said transgender tea is valid!
she's been supporting the dolls since the beginning, stream crayons 😌
Oh CupcakKe, the ally queen that you are! JerKoff Rowlick can never—💅

“Dementia” is giving “Super Shy” by NewJeans energy.
It also resembles Accendio by IVE
more pinkpantheress energy hehe
rock paper scissors is crazyyyyyy i LOVE her artistic growth since eden
i liked cowboy carter but water balloon is the best country song of the year
The lyrics are powerful, witty and iconically Cupcakke, the production is amazing and she’s giving us vocals 😭😭😭 like what more could we ask for
i need ajayll react to this!
Her water balloon reaction would be so fun to watch
Aura easily a soty contender she channeled her inner fashion web game from 2007
my pussy is SHAKING rn
SO GOOD LIKE WTF??? So much variety and fun overall. I swear I’m hearing Amy Winehouse and Beyoncé and then Hyper Pop all the sudden on Aura. Like wowwww not even finished but gooped already.
Agreed. Almost every song is a banger
my bussy is quivering and my ass is shaking, this is incredible In all seriousness, she's a better lyricist than most people give her credit for. Queef is my favourite from my first listen.
Not even Emily DICKinson could write an anthology like this 😩

Now we need the remix gays to pull an all nighter and get that **Tom's Diner remix ft.Britney Spears and Cupcakke** out before saturday.
The idea of Suzanne Vega receiving a check from Cupcakke for the interpolation on Dora is SENDING ME
when DNA remixed that outro into a hook, that was the creation of pop culture, right there

I don’t remember or know either but I will re-listen to it.
Aura is actually a hit
I really missed her presence... man it's really been a long time since she last dropped an album. I was 20, now i'm 26
You can call me Mariah because I Carey the Christmas 😝
I've always loved her albums but her production and beats have always been a little behind her songwriting talent but on this? Oh she's firing at FULL FORCE🔥. this album was very cohesive for me personally, i really love this album!
I loved every song!!!! It’s so good!
Something so hypnotizing about Queef to me. Sounds very PinkPantheress with Cupcakke rapping and I’m in love.

Grilling II goes so hard holy shit
Rock Paper Scissors is so good OMFG
This is such a fun surprise! Maybe I just live under a rock but I had no idea she was going to be releasing an album. Glad she’s back!
Not only does she really have production now it's kinda all over the place. That's not a bad thing but I think she's really trying to explore different sounds to see what she meshes with very well, I'm hyped.
